Excellent location excellent value for two people however we were three adults and an extra charge was levied after we thought we had paid, although this was stated in write up but not explained very well when paying, the owner however was very fair when dealing with this. The only real problem we felt was that we wanted a one bedroom apartment and this was a studio so in effect we were all in one room! Having said that the view was to die for and the swimming pool, jacuzzi and hot tub were much better than our expectations. The area was absolutely fabulous and the people very friendly, a trip to the barrier reef is an absolute must and the car rental company Cruising just around the corner by the bus station were very good value with excellent cars and they told us where to visit.

Trinity is located about 20 miles North of Cairns and about 30 miles South of Port Douglas. The cheapest way to Trinity Beach from the airport is to take the Sun Palm Express ($18/person). The hotel is located on top of a hill right above Trinity Beach. The entire wall facing the ocean is glass so the view is SPECTACULAR!!! The hotel has back steps that go to the beach and the bus stop is just a couple of blocks down the street. Right around the corner from the bus stop is a small grocery store that has everything you need. If you want something more there is an IGA about 1 mile from the hotel that will give you a free transfer back to the hotel once you have purchased your groceries. I definitely recommend buying groceries b/c the hotel has a refrigerator, microwave, and burners. There is also a bar-b-que grill near the heated pool. The hotel is also a good location because most all tours will pick you up at the hotel or at the bus stop down the road. Trinity beach is located right behind the hotel and is nice. It is a brown sand beach so you don’t get the crystal clear water, but the beach and water are still nice. If you want to visit another nice beach take the public bus up to Palm Cove. I would also rent a car or take a coach bus to port douglas. The beach is okay but there are a lot of neat shops. If you want to Dive, go with TUSA.

The helpful staff and excellent location are just two of the high points. We also loved the pool! The hotel is located near great food, and just a hop down the back hill to the beach and boardwalk. Easy access to Cairns by bus, and even a little grocery store within walking distance. The boat trip that the hotel set us up with was wonderful and affordable. Unless you want glitz and plushness, the elegant simplicity of this venue will more than suffice. Highly recommended!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Hop the bus! You can get an all day pass for about $10USD and get to the city cheaply versus renting a car or taking a cab. More $$ for fun!!! Plus you can see the suburbs and locals, not just touristy stuff!

A long time favourite with me because of its proximity to Trinity Beach and dramatic views of the Coral Sea (particularly from the top 4th floor.) Always nice and quiet and clean.

We arrived somewhat dishevelled after a flight from England and a Taxi Driver who got lost , but all was forgotten when Mike showed us to our room . Whilst not particularly big ,it had all the facilities most people are likely to need and a view that i could struggle to describe . Its the biggest infinity pool you could wish to see , just the Ocean as far as the eye can see. We loved Trinity Beach and found the people warm and friendly with people genuinely good at providing a service ( with the exception of the pub a few doors down ) . We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Location was sensational with a view right over the water. Well equipped though very small. Could walk down to beach and restaurants in 2 mins and the local supermarket was only a few minutes drive.
