Lovely location 5 mins walk to bars &amp; restaurants &amp; the glorious beach. We had a fab time although the pool was a little bracing particularly when it's in the shade after 3pm. But all round good value for money and Burgau is highly recommended!

This is a lovely villa with everything you need, the villa is big and spacious , the the pool was nice however it is in the shade in the afternoon.  We had an amazing time, and would recommend the villa. Communication with the owner and the management team was fabulous, very helpful.  Many thanks

This is a lovely property, a very high spec and in a beautiful position.  We'd have given this a five star for everything as a family: as a group of friends there is a bit of a discrepancy between the basement bedroom with no shower/toilet and the really luxurious and well apportioned upstairs bedroom. Rather than be in the basement, two of our party doubled up. On the other hand, that basement bedroom would suit teenagers brilliantly.  So that is a reflection about matching up, not the property itself. We found the managers very helpful and responsive, and were warmly welcomed.  I have to say it's excellent value for money, one of the best I've seen in Burgau, and I would highly recommend it. Thank you to all concerned.

We really enjoyed the holiday; Burgau is such a beautiful place and the villa was very good and in a great position. There were only a few things which we thought could be improved: the pool area was dirty and had not been swept, the beds (mattresses) were not great and the villa felt like it hadn't been aired or opened up for a while especially the bedroom downstairs but these are all things which can be easily remedied.

Had a lovely holiday in Portugal, June 2012.
The villa was beautiful, with all the comforts you could wish for. Very nice size, plenty of space for 3 couples and 2 small children. Only down side being a cold pool!
Burgau has lots of restaurants to choose from and the beach is gorgeous.
Would highly reccomend!

A surperb spacious well maintained property with all mod cons. The family ( including grandparents) enjoyed a great holiday, the pool  and games room proved to be a  bonus for the teenagers. A car is almost a must to see the surrounding area. The limited bus service takes an hour to get to Lagos and 1/2 + to get to Salema or Luz. Burgau is a lovely quiet fishing village with lots of good restaurants and bars, we found the people friendly and obliging. There are a some lovely beaches in the area.

Lovely spacious and clean villa, all mod cons. The pool was good, however very cold, I don't know whether this warms up through the year - we went to this villa late March early April. There is some building work going on in the area, but it did not affect the property.  The vilage is very quiet (which we liked) but then again we did not go in high season.  There are spectacular cliff walks from Bergau to Praia de Luz, this will take about an hour, but well worth it. We enjoyed several meals out in the village, and didn't find fault with any of them, the people were very friendly.  Overall impression of this property and the area is that we would definitely come back again.

Fantastic villa, It provided us with a base for a fantastic and memorable family holiday.
The location was great, Burgau was wonderfull and the villa suited the needs of all from a two year old to grandparents.

Just arrived back from what I can describe as a fantastic holiday. I have visited the Western Algarve on numerous occasions, but this holiday topped them all. There were 8 guests in our party and we were a little worried as to whether we would have our own space, but the villa was so spacious and excellent with the games room for the kids (and adults). Burgau is a superb village, with plenty of eating houses, and the locals are very welcoming. We used all the local bars and clubs and they were all very friendly. Overall a 5* holiday

First time in the Algarve and we struck gold. We had a fab holiday. Villa very well&#045;equipped.
