From Malaga airport it was about a 30 minute journey by car to the apartment. The apartment is on the Amatista Reserve which is well served by supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The bus stop to Marbella central is at the bottom on the main road so therefore if you are walking and using the public transport which is good value, this is where you find the bus stops to the main routes in along the Mediterranean Highway. The bus prices were about 2.00 euros each way. A taxi is about 20.00 to Marbella.
The apartment was roomy having 3 sofas in the lounge 2 bathrooms one with bath which was great but both had showers which were lovely and hot, and a kitchen which had everything we needed. There is a large balcony which gets the sun throughout the day which was great as in March the wind can still be a little cold so the shelter of the balcony meant we could still get some sun and be sheltered. The pool is large and is lovely, I did go for a little swim, but it was very cold!!!
The fact that we had BBC TV and wifi which in this electronic age was great as it meant that as the weather was a little cold we could come home, have a take away and watch a movie if we wanted to.
The pool was a short distance away from the apartment and it was very easy to get to so no worries about bringing sun loungers down from the apartment.
The nearest beach is the one at Cabapino, which is a 20 min walk, there are restaurants and bars there and a small harbour. A taxi there is about 5 euros and if you want a day at the beach I would suggest if you are not driving, you book a taxi to take you down as it is a walk with beach items. It is a lovely beach, clean and reasonably quiet.
I will be definitely booking again and taking the grand children with me as there is plenty for them to do, I loved it there and will be hoping to go back again soon. Thanks Pete! (The owner)
