The villa is very comfortable and has excellent facilities. The pool area and hot tub are a really good feature as are the two barbecues. The villa is in a beautiful region with lots to do locally and great restaurants in Cavtat. Be aware though that the owners have an apartment attached to the villa and so are on site some of the time and the small chalet right next to the pool area and garden is occupied. Therefore there is not complete seclusion and privacy and this was not clear when we booked.

The villa was wonderful. It was well-equipped and has many facilities which made our stay absolutely perfect. The pool, hot tub, games room and grassed area provided much entertainment. The owners Ivo and Jackie were lovely - friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was breathtaking and the nearby town of Cavtat is well worth a visit. Probably our best holiday and being so close to the airport and the impressive city of Dubrovnik made it even more easy to enjoy.

Faultless experience Left on Jul 25, 2016 for a stay in Jul 2016 Our holiday experience started with excellent communications from the villa owner/managers Jackie and Ivo and assistance with booking airport transfers. In person, they were warm, friendly, tolerant, even saintly, particularly when startled awake at night by our group of partying teenagers, while celebrating with our daughter as she turned 21. We thank them wholeheartedly for their kindness. The villa itself is an utter delight, it's owners have thoughtfully and generously furnished and equipped it, and each occupant enjoyed luxury accommodation, very comfortable large beds, and a large kitchen lounge area that is the hub of the house. The villa sits on a Dubrovnik hillside, affording beautiful views of the surrounding hills, the sea in the distance, and lovely sunsets particularly viewed from the hot tub located in the surrounding grounds. This is a place where young and older were happy alike, each in their own space and with their own range of activities. We consider that a car is essential as transport links to Dubrovnik by bus are limited, although taxis are also available. We thank Jackie and Ivo for a lovely holiday.

Just to thank you for a very enjoyable week in Villa Izvor last week - we all had an absolutely wonderful time. We have stayed in many large villas over the years and we all agreed that this was the best-equipped villa we have ever stayed in, there was really nothing we could fault with it!

 Izvor is a wonderful place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Izvor which is set on a very peaceful hillside where swallows perform an aerial ballet several times a day. All the facilities are excellent, the pool is beautiful, hot-tub inviting and air conditioning very welcome. We cooked meals, barbecued, swam, relaxed, played table tennis and pool and went sightseeing. There are many places of interest to visit and Dubrovnik, including its cable car is a must. Dubrovnik is very busy so we drove to Cavtat and parked the car and took a water taxi into town. A great visit. Our hosts Jackie and Ivo were welcoming, helpful and supportive. Our party of 12 'not quite so young' friends are keen to return. Just as a point of information and no criticism is intended, the villa was easily able to accommodate 12 people, however it means that one couple shared a twin bedded room probably meant as a children's room. However the beds were comfortable and the occupants slept well. It wouldn't prevent us from returning with a party of 12. All in all, we couldn't fault this lovely villa.

“Perfect for a group of families to relax and unwind” 5 of 5 starsReviewed September 3, 2014 The villa was second to none - relaxed and very homey, with the most comfortable beds ever! The villa was fully equipped so there was no issue with plates etc, for 10 of us. There were so many different areas to sit and eat to get the most out of the day, and we all loved the pool and the hot tub. Jackie and ivo were very accommodating, let us party away ( actually encouraged us to), and I couldn't recommend this villa highly enough. Thank you for sharing you lovely villa with us all :0)

Stayed August 2013 Parag It was truly beautiful and perfectly arranged for our needs. We are definitely considering re-visiting already. The facilities were fantastic and the living area was perfect too. It was by far a great week and with all credit to the villa. We were all blown away with the high standard of finish and attention to detail. The only down side was that the closest shop was a 20min drive away, but that is a small issue a car is a must for the group staying here as you will need it for essential shopping mind you taxis were cheap. The owners of the villa have a great taxi contact, Pero (Peter) who is very resonably priced and a great help on day to day tours. Overall rating the villa a 10 out of 10.

The villa location was ideal being on the side of the hill with a panoramic view and high enough to catch the cool evening breezes. Superbly equipped with lovely pool, excellent games room and even a small soccer pitch. Very good restaurants close by in Gruda, likewise in Cavtat and Molunat plus ocean swimming in both only 20 minutes away. And with 24hrs notice, the lady across the road will provide and serve a lovely dinner with wine. We were a family of 12 adults and 2 teenagers and without exception our holiday at this villa was considered the best ever and we take a villa holiday every year. The "icing on the cake" is the owners and hosts, Jackie and Ivo for whom nothing is too much trouble to ensure your stay is totally enjoyable. That we will return is without doubt. .

We stayed at Villa Izvor for a week in April with a group of 9 people. The place and the hosts were just perfect. The Villa itself is in great condition, very clean and it had all the amenities we needed. Villa is situated in a very good location, were it is easy to access near by villages and also Dubrovnik. Car is essential to have.   We were lucky to have a full week of sunshine, so the pool area was in use every day. Pool area is really big and it has enough lounge chairs and also shade if needed. We also used the football ground as a fittness area and for other games also.   All in all I can recommend this place without any reservations to anyone. If youre looking for peace and quiet and a place where you can spend quality time with your family / friends, this is the place. The hosts treated us with kindness and respect and were really helpfull and friendly. Also they spoke perfect english.:) Oh and the views are breathtaking especially at night when the sun went down, so there wasnt any need for the cable in the living room:)

This wonderful villa was just perfect. We have been fortunate to have a family holiday every year for the past 10 years and this villa takes some beating. It had everything. Not one ice bucket but three! Cocktail shakers, recipe books, hundreds of good DVDs, a gorgeous pool, proper wine glasses, American ice making fridge freezer and the most comfortable beds we have ever had in any villa. We have never had a villa so well equipped. The hosts went way and above the call of duty when they magically found a wheel chair for my mum. They even went and collected it for us! Thank you so much for a wonderful 10 days. We shall be back! Kim and Aidan Watts and family.
