We all had a fantastic time in Five Palms, Gocek. The whole stay went really well, whether relaxing by the pool (or in my kids case in the pool all the time), strolling into the centre of Gocek or visiting the surrounding towns of Dalaman, Fethiye, Olu Deniz, etc. The driver recommended by the owner was great, full of good advice and spoke very good English. Overall one of the best and refreshing holidays we have had in a long time and would consider visiting again next year.

Five Palms. This house is an absolute delight in a wonderful setting and was ideal for our extended family holiday.  It is extremely well equipped and the air conditioning ensures that comfortable nights sleep are possible. The local representative (who also provided our airport transfers) could not have been more helpful, he responded quickly to all of our requests and organised a fabulous private yacht charter for our 12 Island Trip which was one of our all time "great holiday experiences". 
We all loved Gocek and found everyone really helpful and welcoming.  The range of restaurants close to the harbour was excellent with something to suit all of our party on every occasion.  
The house was perfectly prepared for us and we really appreciated all of the extras that were so thoughtfully provided.
The garden is a haven of tranquility with shade available for those endless hot sunny days around the pool.  We wished we could have stayed longer!

Just returned from a four day break in May 2014 at lemon villa. Delighted with our stay and service we received. The villa was as described and much more. Private and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle. There was the added benefit of having a bedroom with en suite  upstairs with its own key for two familys travelling together which we were!. Couldnt keep the boys out of the pool. Lots to see and do locally. Ley ley restaurant was a great place to eat close to the villa if you ring them they will come and collect you from the villa and bring you back free of charge! as we only spoke english there was always someone at hand at the restaurants who could speak engligh which was handy. if its your first or a return trip to turkey im sure you will enjoy your stay at this villa as we couldnt fault it. will be returning in the future.

we stayed a short  week in this beautiful house. the good location, only 5 min. walk from town, quiet neighborhood, clean and enough space for the party of 7 people, made this place our "home" .

We had an amazing holiday.   Weve done self-catering holidays in the (generally smaller, quieter) Greek Islands for the past 20 years. This was our first one to Turkey - and has got to be one of our favourites. The location is fantastic - we did a lot of walking, just following tracks around local farm land and in the hillsides, finding quiet beaches and walking through pine forests and olive trees.  People are very friendly and welcoming.
June was in the UK when we arrived receiving her MBE for her work with the turtles, but she had arranged for 2 lovely friends to meet us in Dalyan and guide us to the house - and you sure need to be guided. They also called us the next day to make sure we were OK to see if we needed anything.   
All the facilities listed were provided.   However we feel people should note that there is no hot water other than the shower (so boiling a kettle to wash up).  
There are a few things which need attention, and are the only reasons we havent given the property an excellent rating throughout.   A plumber is needed as there is a significantly leaking tap in the bathroom and the kitchen sink often needed a plunger to clear.    Also we didnt feel the house had had a good clean for some time - there were mice dro ppings in the cupboard under the sink and a couple of the blankets needed cleaning.  On our second day it rained hard, and we had to find something to put up to stop the rain coming in one of the windows (used an old plastic rubble bag found in the tool room, to fix on the outside of the window bay).  The (electric) shower needs some attention too. Because the weather was quite chilly in our first few days we needed to set the shower to its hottest setting, to get a decent warm shower. This results in the lights dimming significantly, and also if left running for more than 2-3 mins, results in a rather noxious smell (possibly over-heated insulation). As an electrical engineer, I speculate either a fault in the shower unit, or poor connections and probably under rated cable - it really should be looked at. When the weather warmed up this was not such a problem as we were able to set the shower to a lower heat setting. 
None of these ruined our holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again. Hopefully the issues we noted can be fairly readily rectified - and we would then give the property 100% for everything.   All in all we had a fantastic time and would love to return next year.   Just before we left we had opportunity to meet June and the friendly team at the turtle rehabilitation centre - they invited us to share their breakfast, and we were fascinated to learn about their work.   Junes book is a wonderful insight to her life and dedication to the turtles.

Kaptan's Cottage, Iztuzu

The cottage, the host and the location cant be faulted. The cottage sits on the side of a hill looking west down a valley to the sea and spectacular sunsets are almost guaranteed. It is only a 25-minute drive to Dalyan (a beautiful drive, at that) but feels as peaceful and remote as if it is on another planet. For much of the day the only sounds are birds, insects and breezes. Its a challenging walk or drive through the pine forests down to the nearest beach but worth it as you can often get the place to yourself. The main beach of Iztuzu (Turtle Beach) is just a 10-minute drive away.
Its a great hideaway. Facilities within the property, which is full of character, are excellent, right down to a powerful torch for the occasional power cut, and books, guides and maps of the area. 
A large bedroom/dining room/kitchen takes up the whole of the top floor. Breakfast on the balcony and barbecues on the patio. And when youre too lazy to cook, there is the Sunset restaurant/bar five minutes away (accessible by road or ladder!) where we had two fantastic meals (sea bream and cheese pie highly recommended) and a few beers in the company of the owners who couldnt do enough for us.
Lastly, a word of thanks to the cottage owner, June. Shes warm, charming, helpful and easy-going. A lovely lady I almost wanted to take her home. Shell make sure everythings alright but give you plenty of space for privacy. And shes led a fascinating life.
Were going back.

Staying at The Lemon House was a truly lovely relaxing holiday experience.  It is very private amongst the lemon trees with the chickens wandering around and Dalyan is about 10 mins by car along a very straightforward route.  The villa is spoltlessly cleaned by Fatima who is very discrete.  There is a small convenience shop within five minutes on foot which sells bread and most other bits and pieces.  I couldnt recommend this villa more highly.

This was our third year in a row hiring a villa in/near Dalyan, and The Lemon House did not disappoint. Location is wonderful and everything was provided. Attention to detail was excellent. The unexpected bonus was having a housemaid come every day and clean and tidy for us. We also sampled one of her meals!

A clean and well-equiped Villa in a peacefull location. Well situated for a short drive to local shops and resturants.
The swimming pool is a good size and maintained daily.
The housekeeper is wonderful.
The only slight drawback was the separate entrance to the twin bedroom which might worry young families.
Overall an execellent holiday experience .

lovely villa,fatima a treasure.my only complaint is i managed to damage hire car on the gatepost which is rather awkwardly designed.
