We have stayed in larger villas in the past  but found this ample for  6,  very nice cosy feel &amp; that the  property was well cared-fore by the owner, and not  just a corporate  venture.  
 Well equipped villa , the bike came in handy for a tour of the estate - golf course and a quick run to  handy Walmart  by the main entrance.
The pool area is north facing so in November didnt get much sun 
The 20 mins to Disney - bit optimistic, the  I4 has got a lot busier (crash prone) since our last  visit used the US17  quite a bit

Fabulous stay at Southern Dunes. The villa was perfect for us, far enough away from central Orlando to be peaceful but close enough to get everywhere - about a 30-minute drive to International Drive area in traffic. The air conditioning and pool were a godsend after days out playing golf in 30+ degrees heat and the villa was a great home from home with everything we needed. Southern Dunes is a well kept, peaceful community with plenty of shops and place to eat out nearby. We played golf at Southern Dunes Golf Club most days and it is one of the best courses in the area with a very well kept, reasonably demanding course - very reasonable green fees (about $30 a day each plus tax including the buggy). Highly recommended, especially if you are coming for a golf holiday!

The villa was perfect. Spotlessly clean and so well equipped. 
We had a lovely relaxing month and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. 
The owner was helpful and has added thoughtful and useful touches throughout the villa.

This Villa was perfect for our stay and not a Mickey Mouse duvet in site! The property was light and airy with everything we needed for a 6 night stay, even the washing machine and dryer saw some action - less to do when I got home. My daughter lived in the pool and I lived in the lounger by the pool when we weren't dashing off to Universal Studios.
It was 30 miles to Universal, an easy 40-60 minute trip via the 27 and I4, Disney was closer but not on our visit list.
Southern Dunes was a lovely location with the added bonus of security on the gate and a large Walmart just off the site. 
If you like smoked ribs lookout for a smoke house on the left hand side of the 27 heading up to the I4 next to a fruit and vegetable stand, you can buy shrimp from the fruit stand and get it cooked at the smoke house, he does some fab iced drinks too, awesome!!

This was our third villa rental in Florida and was the best yet.  Lovely clean pool and spacious, comfortable accommodation which was great to come back to on an evening.  The villa is situated on a fantastic golf estate which has a safe, welcoming feel.  Although a little further out than some, still only 25 minutes drive to Disney and around 4O to Universal.  Plenty of grocery shopping and places to eat nearby - Mannys Chophouse is a must!

Would definitely return.

The Villa was perfect, a real home from home. It was in a very nice location and not too far from the Disney and other parks. The whole family loved it as we stayed in and enjoyed the villa some days and went to the Disney and other parks on other days. There are plenty of places to shop and eat close by. Overall a very enjoyable time and would love to stay there again.
