I got recommended staying here by a friend who said it was unreal. I don't know what else to say other that this was the best family holiday we have had as a family. I promise, that is no mean feat! This spacious well situated apartment was absolutely spot on ano the complex was, and I speak for my wife here as well, was the best complex we have ever stayed on. The apartment helped as a family with the space, views, balconies and having the kitchen. The man made beach the pools the lake view with pedalo and being 5-10 mins to the marina makes in PERFECT. we will be coming back here again and again and again. Talking to all people staying there everyone was saying what a lovely atmosphere it was and everyone was just chilled relaxed and friendly. As a couple or family this is 11/10. Trust me.

Initial cleaning very bad. Had to ask twice the housekeeper to get the apartment cleaned properly. After claiming at front desk we had no further problem with cleaning during the rest of our stay.

The whole experience has been fantastic. We love the Lake Resort and have stayed in the hotel a number of times; we always thought of staying in one of the apartments but never got around to booking. We now have and are hooked. Looking to book again for next year. From the outset the owner was fantastic, helpful, with speedy responses. Check-in and out seamless, location great, apartment fab and with access to all the luxuries of the Lake Resort - couldn't have been better!

Highly recommend this property, the resort in my opinion is the best in Vilamoura, great for families and only a few minute walk to the beach and Marina (Marina is great for dinner, around 50 restaurants, try Akvavit/Lamparo/News Cafe) we ate lunch at the pool restaurant and was great, getting sun lounger etc is no problem and towel guys are always on hand (and very helpful) should you ever need anything - highly recommend this apartment

This is our second year staying at John's condo in South Beach. I can not stop raving about it. John was receptive to any small issues that arose. Sitting on the balcony and drinking my coffee was the most relaxing thing I have done this year. The condo is exactly the same as last year - just as clean - and we had another wonderful family vacation. Dare I say - we can not wait until next year!

We liked our stay at the apartment/ hotel, as we did already in the past. We are thinking about booking the same apartment for the next summer holidays.

We rented this condo and it exceeded our expectations. The pool and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Great service at pool. RIght on beach and easy to get up and down from pool area. The condo matched the photos exactly and nothing beat sitting on the porch with iced coffee and watching the people run by on the boardwalk - except maybe getting down to the boardwalk and joining the runners! Perfect location. Well equipped kitchen and even had beach chairs and umbrella! I needed to contact John - both before booking and once I was there and he was easy to deal with. There were no surprises - except good ones! Can't wait to go back - Lisa
