The flat itself is very nice, comfortable, clean, spacey facility and has a wonderful sea view.  Excellent maintenance service. Some items were however missing such as the hairdryer and more important:there is no phone available in the flat. We find it important to be able to contact reception in case of emergency.  For 6 persons for 3 weeks, we would also have appreciated an extra cupboard for clothes.
We were not so impressed however by the Resort facilities. Reception service is below standard.  Employees have poor knowledge of languages other than Bulgarian and Russian. Their job goes as far as being present.  Anything else you ask is beyond their tasks. Finding solutions is not in their dictionary.  The prices at the restaurants within the resort dont meet the quality.  The food at the buffet restaurants is disgusting (please dont touch it unless you like being sick). Theres not even a feel for customer service.  One night, the lights were switched off when we were still at the table having our diner.  The only employees who were friendly were the waiters at the bars.
Inside, the hotel is well maintained and cleaned, however the pools and sunbeds are not at all well cleaned/maintained.  Sunset Resort is a beautiful complex that could offer much more at the level of entertainment.  During the day, no music around the pool, no animation around the pool. One or 2 times/week theres a poor quality show, nothing really that we could call entertainment.  Even our kids felt it wasnt worth watching.  At the level of amusement, quality is very poor. We have found a very nice bar on the beach and a little restaurant near the Resort, offering excellent quality and service for much lower prices than in the Resort.  If Sunset Resort would like to keep their customers in the hotel I think theyll need to think more quality, fun and entertainment.    For all people who go to Sunset Resort, I would also like to give good advise : dont use the cash machine within the hotel premises : it swallows your credit card for no reason (I wasnt the only one who had this problem) and its a real hassle in order to recover your card. If you wish to exchange foreign currency, best to go to a bank as the forex at the hotel gives a much lower rate. Its a pity that a very nice property is losing value due to the poor resort facilities. We had the feeling that tourists were actually intruders and not that welcome (unless youre Bulgarian).

Hotel Staff not so friendly.
Doesnt cater well for you on complex unless youre all-inclusive. i.e.  We couldnt buy a drink unless from any of the bars there!

Absolutely excellent accomadation and resort. However it would be really nice if the owner could have a book for his english quests explaining in detail about the restaurants. It took us four days to work it out. We were unsure if we could eat in the buffet resatuaarnts? Where could we just get a light lunch? 
The only bad thing was having to get up about 5.30-6.00 everyday to get a sunbed, but if you cant beat them you have to join them !!!
