An excellent location to explore this part of Tuscany and Umbria for a week or so. Quiet place in a small settlement easily accessible by car but away from busy roads and large villages. Couple of good restaurants only a few minutes drive away. The apartment is well equipped and the description is correct.

Due to problems hiring a car we stayed in a hotel for the first 2 days after explaining our situation to Terry &amp; Roz Ridge they very kindly came to our rescue. From Monday 31st August to Friday 11th September our stay was by far the most enjoyable experience that we have ever had. The hospitality and kindness from them both was amazing along with lots of information about Italy and the surrounding area. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and very thoughtful. We are looking forward to planning another Italian holiday very soon.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in this cosy apartment, which is in a green, quiet country setting and has great facilities as shown in the photos. We cooked up a storm in the kitchen, took a stroll down the local paths and enjoyed feeling free to sit out in the front courtyard with a bottle of wine, watching the chickens in the garden and fireflies at night. It was very pleasant. Terry and Rose are also very relaxed, welcoming and generous hosts as they provided some food and wine to help us through our arrival, including fresh eggs and marmalade. They also gave us comprehensive and accurate driving directions and a folder of helpful information about the local towns and sights, and how to get to and park in other famous medieval towns in Tuscany and Umbria such as Siena, Anghiari, Gubbio and Cortona. Anghiari is very close by and the others are within a couple of hours driving distance for pleasant day trips, made much easier with all the directions. Finally they also helped us out with driving directions for our onward journey and have a great DVD library for borrowing. We loved it and only wished we could stay 2 weeks instead of 1! It was the best value place located centrally in Tuscany that we found on the website and only got better.

This accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The customer care from  Terry and Roz could not be faulted. The cottage was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing, in fact, we liked it so much we stayed an extra four nights.  Thanks to the efforts of Terry and Roz we had a great holiday!

Lovey clean house in a beautiful and quiet environment. A great base to go out and explore the surrounding towns/villages. The care package on arrival was amazing - especially the eggs and wine! You do need a car to be able to get around as not much in walking distance. The perfect place to stay and escape from the world. Really lovely setting with some beautiful views, especially at sunset. The owners were lovely and really helpful giving us lots of hints and tips on things to do and the folder in the apartment is packed with ideas of places to go and useful information anout getting there/parking etc. We would def stay here again.

We had a really great time. The property was spot on! Meeting all our requirements in terms of location and facilites. Very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The location is stunning 

The villa is well placed to visit the surounding places of interest and the local restaurants are excellent however, your own transport is an absolute must whilst not remote it is very rural

The owners (Terry and Roz) have their home at the rear of the villa and were very welcoming and helpful.

If you like lots of hustle, bustle (you can always drive to it) it may not be your cup of tea however, if you want a relaxing place to unwind you will not be disappointed.

We had a fabulous week at Villa Cresta!  Roz and Terry were great hosts and could not have been more helpful, providing us with lots of local knowledge and advice. The welcome pack of food was just what was needed and the green information folder was so detailed, you couldnt have asked for more.  The property is situated in a beautiful part of Tuscany and it has a lovely secluded garden where you can truly relax and get away.  However, you can easily take day trips to Florence, Siena, Arezzo and more if you arent one for sitting around.
Well definitely be recommending Villa Cresta to our friends.
