About
After career in excess of 25 years within International Banking, and particularly the Foreign Exchange market, I now run my own Property Management business.
Unfortunately, this means that I do not get to visit the Villa as often as I would wish to, but I still try to visit for at least 10 days each year.
Having spent a holiday in Santo Tomas in 1992, I decided that if I was ever in a position where I could contemplate purchasing a property abroad, this would be the location. My reasons?
1. The location - Menorca, in comparison to the other islands, is very 'green', not only in terms of the vegetation but also because it is a Biosphere.
By virtue of its position, Santo Tomas would be unlikely to be heavily developed, thereby retaining its charm.
2. The people - From day one of my first visit to Santo Tomas, the 'locals' were very friendly and helpful -even more so, when I bought 'Santa Clara'. As a result my family and I now have many friends in the area and look forward to seeing them whenever we have the opportunity to visit the Villa.
