I stayed there with my family for one week it is really in a very good location but u will need a car for sure to go around. The swiming pool, the rooms and everything was very clean and tidy bring ur pool toys with you as you will enjoy every moment. The breeze at night is very good. The only down part that around the villa we found 2 scorpions one of them in the bedroom but small cute ones lol; unlike arabic black scorpions; So takecare if you ve got young children. It is open to the wild with no fences at all which sometimes at night it becomes a bit scary to go outside espcially if you sleep late.

Lovely,large property in real Turkey away from all other tourists but near enough to beach resorts for those who need.Some very nice real Turkish places to visit where you can meet the very friendly locals.

Unfortunately the hotel we booked had been closed to tourists and so nearly all the facilities advertised were not available. eg swimming pool,restaurant,cinema,ice skating rink,shop. All that was available to us was the extras that had to be paid for like sauna etc.  The actual apartment was very nice but because of the problems had no heating and no hot water until about 10.30 which made going out for the day very late if you wanted a shower. No hot water in evening so couldnt do that way round! The apartment was also very poorly equipped. There was no cooking utensils, microwave as advertised etc. there really was only the basics. I wish we had been informed of these problems and given the option to cancel.

The owner was ever so helpful in providing more than enough information for an immensely enjoyable holiday.The villa was large enough for our party of nine to enjoy together or alone as indivduals. The villa is far enough away from civilisation to enjoy the peace and tranquility but close enough to all the local facilities. There was enough activities in the surrounding areas to keep all amused. Then there was the wonderful pool for everyone to chill out and sun bathe around. The contact at the villa was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The owner provided a very honest description and we would consider a holiday here again. Another attraction around the villa was the local wildlife like small lizards, tortoise and red squirrels.

In terms of value for money, it will be very difficult for us to top Villa Daisy with our next holiday.  Ive never stayed in such a spacious villa - each of the bigger bedrooms felt like a studio apartment in itself, the lounge and kitchen/diner are huge, and the pool is both large and deep.  We took two children and two teenagers with us and never felt like any of us were under each others feet.  The villa is very secluded, which made it hard to find at first but meant that we never had to worry that we were making too much noise.  

The town of Akyaka is very sweet and quite unspoilt, and both children and teenagers enjoyed the safe, blue-flag beach.  There are plenty of places to eat nearby to suit a range of budgets and basic groceries can be bought in the town for self-catering.  Car hire is absolutely essential as its about a 15 min drive to the town.

The main downside was the erratic electricity and water supply, the owner had warned of us this in advance as she had had similar problems during her stay, and it did become a bit of a problem as we had to make a lot of calls to the property maintenance guy.  Also we were not sent the detailed instructions about the house and local area which we should have received.  However, the owner responded promptly and politely to my feedback and the utility problems do appear to be beyond her control and related to general problems with the local supply.

We had a wonderful holiday.  The views of the mountains are breathtaking.  The Villa is very quiet and secluded with a wonderful pool.

Wow...Having experienced a villa holiday, I am definately not going back to package holidays!! To have the use of such a well positioned and stunning swimming pool was awesome...perfect for those moonlit midnight swims, to cool down and gaze over the lights in the valley below. Practically speaking, the villa was in a fantastic position. The nearby resort of Akyaka was a lovely place and the restaurants and shops there were first class..You won't get any hassle here at all, which sadly can't be said of the nearby resort of Maramis. There really was an abundance of restaurants in the area which served fantastic Turkish food, that was unbelievably cheap and we really felt as though we had spoiled ourselves rotten every night. The villa was quiet and the perfect relaxing holiday. We found that it was just a short 45 minutes drive from the airport and very easy to find. The villa was clean and well equipped. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but I have to say that our stay at the villa was one of the best holidays that I have ever been on!! Kids included !!!!
