We found the apartement in a very clean condition and the complex to be better than we had envisaged, especially the spa and wellness centre. The facilities in the apartement were more than adequate and the balcony was far bigger than the web site picture showed. The on site assistant for this apartement was very friendly and extremely helpful in recommedning what do, see and where to eat. She was obviously well respected in the town as we were able to get discount at certain restaurants just for mentioning her name! The owner of the apratement was very good at communicating on e-mail pre our trip and her advice on passport control and driving to the resort was spot on. Above all the Kalkan and Patara Beach Resort experience was all that we could have asked for and more. I can fully recommend this apartement and would come back again.

Prince Patara Resort is a wonderful and very quiet place but the maintenance and cleanliness of the appartment was below our expectations.

This is a really nice house in a complex overlooking the golf course and not noisy.  Location is very good for beach holidays (if going to the local beach it may be better to walk - parking is tight but it is 15 min walk) and getting to Seville and Portugal is easy by car.  Swimming pool in complex is excellent (much bigger than photo suggests) as is the paddle tennis and the garage is a godsend. Two very very small moans - each bedroom could have a fan not just the main and perhaps more than one set of keys (front door and gate entrance) could be supplied to take account of teenagers wanting to do their own thing! This is a real spanish resort and is great for those of us who want to see the real Spain.

We were very happy with our stay, spending our time in Kalkan second week of May. This time of year is great to arrive as the resort was almost empty, with multiple sun chairs always available by the pool. And the small Kalkan town restaurants, boat tours etc were always available and not crowded. 

The flat itself has good space for 2 people and was clean. Nice terrace facing the ocean. Perhaps the shower needs a little updating, although bathroom overalö was kept clean

There was a lot of steps, so coming when it is not too hot is a good idea, although there is a little shuttle bus running through the area every 15min in case you dont feel like walking. My boyfriend and I did not mind the walk, as it would only be to/from the pool and was great to stretch your legs although if it was very hot, walking uphill could be quite heavy.

We were met at arrival by a lovely lady, who told us a bit about Kalkan and the resort, as well as being contactable for any questions we had during our stay. She also helped us with airport transfer. This gave us a very positive first impression.

Good value for money as you get access to the whole resort!

You can walk in to central Kalkan in about 20 min, perfect in the evenings, or taxi in 5 min for about £4-5.

You can swim in the ocean by the hotel which was really nice.

We have just return from spending two weeks in Islantilla Villa my eight year old granddaughter loved the pool and playing tennis with her teenage brother . We hired a car so going to the supermarket and beaches  very easy .Are sight seeing included Seville (very hot) Tavira in Portugal,The Monastery of Santa Clara, and the St Christopher Columbus replica boats.The villa was very comfortable and as described, we enjoyed the privacy of the back garden for eating meals although the commentary was in Spanish we managed to watch  Mo win his gold while celebrating with a glass of red wine. Islantilla is very Spanish town with shops and restaurants on a pedestrianised street which makes it easy to stroll round of an evening.I would recommend this villa to families of any age. The booking was straight forward and Nicky friendly and helpful with her email replies .

We stayed at the property just after Easter and while the weather was changeable this didnt detract from the holiday itself.  We travelled with our 2 young children and my in-laws.  Despite it being a full house we never felt like we were on top of each other.  The house was well equipped with toys (think it had more toys than we have at home -0) and the kitchen had everything you need.  The complex itself was great and we loved sitting out in the garden and watching the occasional golfer.  When the sun came out we loved the many beaches which were perfect for little ones. The property was extremely clean and tidy.  The location is brilliant for young families and those of us who are that much older.  It is a quiet complex but has the advantage of being quite close the the sea, restaurants and there is also a small entertainment area for the children.  I was at Lomas De Islantilla in July this year with my husband, son and two grandchildren (aged 4 and 15).  We all had a great time and will be going back next year.  10 out of 10.  Thank you for allowing us to rent your property.

Met all expectations.  Apartment was of a high standard and was located in a quiet area of the resort.  We would thoroughly recommend the apartment/resort and Kalkan itself for a great holiday destination.
