Great location, great apartment (excellent value for money) and brilliant owner. We stayed as a family of four and had plenty of room, the apartment was spotless on arrival and Trisha had ensured that we had the keys on time albeit we were a late enquiry. Stayed on for another week as we thought it was great value. The apartment doesn't get too stuffy or hot at night which is great, just keep the curtains shut when you are out during the day and nice and cool on your return - there is airconditioning anyway. Small tip, eat in the on-site restaurants, unless you want to go into Kalkan for an extra special meal the complex serves great food and when you take the additional 25% discount off it is very cheap to eat. We returned once again and this time for three weeks (we just cant get enough) as before the owners could not do enough for us, emailing us very comprehensive details of everything we needed to know and arranging pickup at the airport and return transfer, both times by really nice and helpful drivers. Cactus 223 is very comfortable and spacious with comfortable beds and furniture and the outside patio garden is the ideal place for a nice gin and tonic after spending time in the lovely Patara Prince Resort swimming and relaxing. Kalkan its self is lovely with lots of restaurants to choose from( we enjoyed Kosh, and Paprika for a really good Steak and Limos do excellent fish dishes and many more, we didnt have a bad meal anywhere. There are also lots of bars to choose from for an after dinner drink and chat to lots of like minded travellers who come back year after year and have nothing but good things to say about Kalkan. The weather was beautiful all the time we where there (the first three weeks in October) and we enjoyed the local Thursday markets, trips to Kas and Myra Antik Kenti also taking an excellent site seeing trip to Xathos, Tilos and Saklikent Gorge with lunch at  a local Trout farm near Tilos and finely a relax at Patara beach, our guide and driver where lovely, and the driver had even brought some delicious grapes from his own garden for us all.  All in all a wonderful holiday we would be glad to repeat again.

This is the third time we have stayed in this Villa , Again we wernt dissapointed , we are already planning to revisit Kalcan again ( Mind you the weather is boring -warm dry and sunny every day 28 degs overnight  34-36 Daytime -2 weeks with out rain - how boring!! ) However the very efficient Air Con in the villa can be set to keep you just right and get a good nights sleep ( assuming the Wifes not snoring ! ) With no noise from any Night clubs / Bars which are a long long way away in the Town  .
Tricia arranged the car Hire, the driver was waiting at the Airport -when we landed at 5 am ! and we then drove to the villa , to be greeted By a spotlessly clean and well presented interior, as usual by Nelishan the regular cleaning operative !
The villa has every you need from a hairdryer , all kitchen utensils , Iron and ironing board , right down to the Luggage scales to weigh the suitcases to ensure you havent overspent on goods / souveniers in the Thursday market . As the time  went on we noticed the infinity pool which we used twice a day, was always swept, sunbeds tidied , plants watered and chlorinated every day without fail-it was always scrupulously clean and tidy. The staff around the complex were always helpful and polite-most spoke very good English.The gardens are watered regularly and the rubbish collected Daily.
There is a sumptous Buffet in the Dining room every evening if you prefer to eat in . If you would like to eat out -There are numerous resturants  in Kalcan -If you stayed for 2 months you could try a different one each night . To enjoy Breakfast on the Patio and Garden overlooking the sparkling meditterean Sea and Mountains opposite ,deciding what to do for the day -after the early morning Swim, Is just heaven. There is the scent of Bourganvilla plants and Jasmine in the Garden also  there is a Tortoise   which you may catch a sight of .
On our return the driver was at the airport to pick up the hire car on our return -no waiting, no hastle -spot on the agreed time .

The only dissapointment was getting off the Plane at Gatwick at 10 pm -only 12 degs  Brrhh-why cant the UK be warmer !!!

I have had several holidays with Villarenters now, Tricia has been the most helpful and informative owner of them all.  From the start she gave us extensive information about the area/restaurants places to visit, and they were all spot on. She even told us about visa changes, which we would have never known otherwise.

The accommodation was small, but adequate.  Air conditioning was sufficient.  We did have a little problem with the two ring hob not working properly, but i think this must have been anticipated, as when i text Tricia she advised me a new one was available to use.  

Overall a superb holiday location/accommodation, and i will definitely be considering a return visit.  

ps. We also had a visit from Tarzan the tortoise..

We had a wonderful holiday - the nicest part of Turkey that we have been to. The apartment was as described, the layout worked well and it was beautifully clean.  The owner was very helpful during the booking process and leading up to the holiday - booking transfers, allowing us access to the property early and offering useful advice. We would definitely recommend it to others. The apartment was very near to the little supermarket , which although expensive for groceries was a great place to get our daily bread.  (The ice creams there also good value - 3 lire for a magnum but if you get it down by the hotel the same icecream is 10 lire) We tended to walk down to the sea and use the minibus to get back and we alternated between using the infinity pool and the bathing platforms - during the 2 weeks we were there we didnt have any problems finding a sunbed.  In the evenings we often walked into Kalkan which took about 15 minutes where there were so many wonderful restaurants a lot very reasonably priced - our favourite was "Sade".  We hired a car for a couple of days and visited the Gorge, Patara Beach, Kaputa Bay and Kas.  Patara Beach although beautiful was just too hot for us. The gorge is worth visiting but go early as when we left at lunchtime people were queuing to get in it. Kas is definitely worth a trip - quite similar to Kalkan but more shops - everything was slightly cheaper than in Kalkan. We also took a couple of boat trips, which our children enjoyed - the one to Kekova was probably the best.

The apartment is in a great location &amp; was equipped with everything you could need for your holiday. The owners provide detailed information pack prior to your arrival detailing lots of valuable information. Fabulous complex with all apartments &amp; villas looking out to sea with both adult &amp; family pool area. Free shuttle bus was available every 10 mins  to take you to/from apartment as it is quite hilly but all this adds to the fact that the views are fantastic all over this complex. Only a 10 minute walk into Kalkan where there are lots of fabulous restaurants to choose from. This is our 4th time in Kalkan &amp; we will most certainly be back.

we had a lovely time in patara resort, the view, people were amazing. as for the apartment it was nice. although the shower was a bit of a mess, and we had to share the same place for sleeping because the other room had no air conditioning.

Had a lovely 2 weeks in this very well equipped apartment on the Patara Prince complex.  A quiet location which was just what we were looking for.  Enjoyed sitting out in the garden area each morning eating our breakfast and were visited on a couple of occasions by the resident  tortiose  -  we knew when it was coming as it stealthily crashes its way through the bushes!  Tricia &amp; John were very helpful in providing all the information we wanted and also arranging our taxi transfer from Dalaman.  A great holiday.

This is our third time in Trisha and Johns lovely apartment and is the third time we will rave about our holiday on our return.  Trisha and John arranged our transfers - brilliant: seamless, easy, no worries. Patara Prince is just as nice third time round - beautiful grounds, friendly people, perfect sea and pools nothing disappoints (except, occasionally, the service in the resort restaurant!)  the apartment is comfortable, clean and well-equipped, even for a three week stay.  Kalkan is growing but as friendly as ever - still a lovely place to relax and wonder around. 

I think well be back again - despite a desire to see new places, this is just such an easy, relaxing, nice, well-priced holiday, its hard to justify doing much else!
