My mother and I absolutely LOVED this property! It was quintessential all things Provencal. We HIGHLY recommend this property. The little town was a wonderful little village set in the south of France.... It was completely lovely and exceeded all our expectations, we sincerely hope we can come again. Thank you!

Lovely studio apartment in the middle of a quiet little town in the hills of Provence. Does exactly what it says on the tin & ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Very quiet at nightime with nothing open past ten but we were there at Easter & it may well be livelier during the summer. Rental car essential for travelling around the surrounding area. Some fine eateries in the town & we ate very well while there. Ideal for couples on a relaxing holiday. Only negative was that the internet didnt work after day 1. Overall a very enjoyable experience in rural Provence.

The property was fantastic. Everything we needed was there it was so well equipped. The village was everything we would want it to be. My son warned us of the noise at 6am from the Bar below. This was perfectly acceptable - part of the village life. However and this is why I would not recommend it to a friend. The noise from the Road sweeper/cleaner was totally unacceptable. Around 4am it came into the square (under our windows) and ran the engine at full revs forever. On the Saturday morning for nearly 1 hour. we were all watching from our windows. My Daughter (in the Studio) only came on the Wednesday but said if she had been there for a week she would have to had to find other accommodation or get an early flight home. Having said all that we had a n unbelievably fantastic time. The House was like home to us.

We felt very at home from the moment we entered studio mimosa and were given a warm welcome by Murielle who was just leaving as we arrived! We were comfortable and had everything we needed and the ambience of the flat helped us to soak up the atmosphere of the locality had a wonderful time exploring the area and would definately return. All the locals made us feel very welcome and despite our distinct lack of the language, couldnt have been more helpful.

The studio was over a very busy bar which wasnt mentioned in the review so dont bank on getting an early night. However, Flayosc is a beautiful hill-top village and Mimosa is in the heart of it. The studio itself was spot on and gave us the rustic ambience we were looking for. Everything functioned as it should and everything was clean. It is unlikely I will use rental systems again though. In this day and age of instant communications I am staggered in takes up to a month to refund a deposit. Clearly Rental-Systems has an alterier motive for keeping your money for so long and in future I will use a company that values their customers more.

My wife and I stayed two weeks at Maison Mimosa for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect place to get a genuine flavour of life in Provence. Everything from the low ceiling with the beautiful beams to the antique furniture makes the apartment ooze of old world living. The little roof terrace is perfect for enjoying the morning coffee and fresh croissants from the boulangerie around the corner. Flayosc is a quaint little town, its quiet and relaxing, and perfectly situated for visiting most of what Provence has to offer. Everything is within reasonable driving distance, be it the beach or the mountains. There are good alternatives for eating and drinking, and after youve figured out the sometimes baffling opening hours youll thoroughly enjoy the town. Particularly Id like to mention the chocolate souffle served at the LOusteau restaurant across the plaza from Maison Mimosa, it bleeds warm chocolate and is the best Ive ever tasted. Its to die for! Our French is rather poor, but the locals are very patient and helpful, and with a lot of pointing and a mix of carefully pronounced English and pidgin French we got by very well.

We could not have asked for a better place to begin our honeymoon. The house is gorgeous and quiet and the village has everything you would ever need. Flayosc is the perfect homebase for those wanting to explore the surrounding area, and equally ideal for those seeking a quiet sojurn. Area restaurants are fantastic and the owner and villagers are friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 4 days and would have liked a replacement of towels after say two days. The climate is very humid and the towels don't dry. The curtains allow too much light from the square at night. Darker curtains will help. We enjoyed the stay in this little quite town of Flayosc.

Thanks for the feedback. We will leave extra towels in future and see what we can do about the curtains.
