A lovely cottage in a lovely location. Decoration is very well done and we felt immediately at home. Our only faults were the dampness in the downstairs bedroom which was ok for us as we are a couple and decamped to the top floor bedroom, but might be a problem for more than 2 people. The terrace was a litle disappointing at first, but we ended up spending plenty of time there as there is plenty of shade and it is quite private.

Peace &amp; tranquility in the heart of the Dordogne is the perfect tag line for this lovely villa in which we have just spent 2 very enjoyable weeks. It is very well kept and furnished and equipped to a high standard. For us the villa is situated in the perfect location, a very secluded rural setting, ideal for relaxing by the pool but also a great central base from which to drive out and explore the surrounding delights of the Dordogne... of which there are many. The owners have done a great job with this villa and are also on hand as an invaluable source of local information and help to ensure that your stay is a good one. Many thanks Paul &amp; Olivier - all being well we shall return next year!

A very comfortable, well furinshed and very well equipped villa located in a secluded and private area away from any hustle and bustle. We loved relaxing by the pool, wonderful walks from the front door, having space to chill out inside and outside the villa, and the peace and quiet that enabled us to unwind from the moment we arrived.
Local facilities are good, and a short car drive away.
If you are looking for bright lights and night life, go somewhere else. If you are looking for comfort, beautiful surroundings and privacy, book it now!
Paul and Olivier took great care to ensure we enjoyed our holiday, but were never intrusive. 
A fantastic holiday enjoyed by the whole family - we hope to return soon.

Lovely cottage, very clean and well looked after. Well situated, quiet, in walking distance of everything in the charming village. The property itself is full of character and well renovated and nicely furnished. The area is outstanding and I would recommend staying here to anyone.

My friends and i went for a week for a hen party.
The villa was wonderful and Christina who managed the check in was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her.
We did not hire a car but walked to Olhos d agua the beautiful town and beach,which took about 45 minutes.
We went by taxi to Villamoura Marina which is stunning, this took 15minutes .
The villa is inbetween Villamoura and Albefeira . Perfect.

Cottage Le Capiol is a charming and very attractive  property, tastefully presented and ideally situated to explore the many attractions of this part of the Dordogne. The attractive village of Cenac supplies all ones day-to-day requirements, and the proximity to to the bastide village of Domme, and to the Dordogne river itself are a further bonus. The Cottage, on three levels, with living area on the middle floor, is ideal for two couples. Communication by the proprietor is excellent. Highly recommended.

Campagnac villa is the best weve had in France. It is light and airy, with none of the damp and musty smells that are prevalent in barn conversions in the Dordogne. The English owners are diligent and courteous and the villa is well equipped to a high standard. If looking for a quiet holiday - the nearest town is four kilometres away - we would thoroughly recommend it.
