About

Hi there. We have had this villa for the last 10 years or so, using it as our home whenever we can. it is not an investment, it is our home away from home. The neighbors are lovely - they will always tell you good morning. The area is lovely. We are always available for questions or comments or anything you might need - before, during or after your trip.

We stayed at the villa in August 2023. It's a really big place, well equipped and in a brilliant location. There is a local shop just about 5 min walk. The beach is about 15 min walk and it's a lovely lovely beach and not busy at all! There are lots and lot's of restaurants and cafes and the prices are very reasonable if not cheap. Overall, it's a lovely place to have a peaceful holiday!

Thank you for your review, Yuliya! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay! I hope you made it to the Sunday Market, which was a 10 minute walk in the other direction! It is a beautiful place, peaceful and serene. You are welcome anytime!

Excellent holiday! Location nice and close to transport links, but quiet and relaxing. Villa pictures do not do it justice - it is huge. A slight issue with the electrics partway through was dealt with swiftly, and didn't affect our plans. Plenty of excursions run from close by, and the beach is within easy distance. The nearby Harman Hotel is indeed a good spot to use a pool, and when you're done you can just wander back to the villa in swimsuit and towel if you feel like it, as it is so close (or there are showers at the pool). I'd recommend the Jeep Safari for fun (pick up from Harman Hotel), and for relaxing, a trip on a small boat that doesn't go to the major tourist spots is ideal (from Fethiye itself, but some will be able to arrange local pickup from the Harman Hotel). I wouldn't recommend this area for diving though, but snorkelling is still pretty. Overall, brilliant, and we are already planning our next visit!

• Was it good value for money? Yes it was very good value for money, large and well appointed with plenty of extras. • Did it meet your expectations? It more than met our expectations, we were delighted with it. • Was the description accurate? Yes, very. There was a lovely breeze blowing every day so that although it was hot we never felt over heated. • Would you recommend it to a friend? Yes definitely. An extra attraction was the pool at the Harman hotel which is is large and they are very welcoming too. • Were you adequately looked after during your stay? Yes we were, the Turkish villa manager was really helpful in arranging transfers and also being on hand to introduce us at the Harman, and show us the property.

What a fabulous holiday. A really spacious, comfortable villa just a short walk (or an even shorter jog) down to a splendid beach. The accommodation is smart, roomy, lovely cool marble floors, all mod cons and amazing value for money, even if there are not enough of you to fill all the bedrooms. I had not been to Turkey before and was very impressed by the friendly courteous attitude of the local people. The market is busy and bustling but the people were always polite and helpful and allowed you space so that I always felt relaxed and not hassled at all. It may not be the traditional land flowing with milk and honey but the yoghurt and honey from the market are fantastic, unrecognisable from the UK supermarket equivalents, as is the fresh fruit and veg. The beach is splendid and the beach-side cafes and restaurants just as they should be. Go there, you will love it!

Just got back from a short break there and had such a wonderful time. It was lovely being able to go back to the house which always remained cool after a hot day out Bliss. There is everything you could possibly need there .We met up with friends and was able to have a big BBQ as only our villa had enough plates and utensils to have it . Love the area and everything you need is close by ,but where you are is so peaceful ,so the best of both worlds. Cant wait to go back again .

We have had 3 holidays in this villa and everyone has been amazing . The last one 1st to 17 th May 2013 we hired the villa just for the two of us. The weather was in the late 20 s but in the villa you can always keep cool because of the heavy curtains ,so not always the need for the AC especially at night . Love the position of the house ,as you are living among the locals ,but still close to holiday amenities .There are 2 lovely hotels close by which you can use the swimming pools and sun beds for the price of a drink .Less than 2 mins away . 5 minutes around the corner to the right is the regular weekly market where we stocked up with food (villa has massive fridge and freezer so you can buy as much as you want and keep it fresh).A bakery where we got fresh hot bread and croissants for breakfast ,and a café/pub which is frequented mainly by Brits and allow you a free 10 min call home and free Wi-Fi . The Callis seafront is only a 10 to 15 minute walk away and you can walk the main road way and peruse the many shops ,or walk the back way and cross a river via a bridge .Both easy flat walks .If you dont want to walk there is always the Dolmus which runs every few minutes in both directions and costs 2 lira. Beach in Callis is brilliant for families and if you dont want to go on the beach but still be near the sea you can use hotel sunbeds and pools for the price of a drink ,which is what we tended to do . Some days we caught the Dolmus into Fethiay which is my most favourite place in Turkey . There are lots of shops ,markets twice a week and a lovely seafront with lots of reasonable priced restaurants where you can eat and watch the sun go down .Dolmus runs till midnight so no problem getting back and takes around 15 mins . If you want to do a big supermarket shop ,then there is a Tesco on the way to Fethiay next to the hospital . We caught a bus there and got a taxi back with our big shop which cost around 7lira . You can walk the whole of the coastline from Callis to Fethiay if you are feeling really energetic and it is amazing what you see . The house has everything in it that you would have in your own home . I liked to cook and had no problems finding what I needed . Plenty of sheets and towels. So big that when there is just the 2 of us we could lose each other ! Spent a lot of the time on the roof which is a sun trap ,watching the mountains and the locals .Next door neighbor gave us fresh peaches and veg from his garden ,they are so nice. I could go on all day with this review .This is an ideal house for any number of people and from Fethiay you can reach so many other places on the Dolmus for a few Lira. Favourite Restaurant in Callis was on the seafront and called ONE ,favourite in Fethiay was also on the seafront and called the Brothers . Will be back there in a couple of weeks and cannot wait . Thank you for allowing us in your lovely home . Alison and Kris Cunningham xxx PS Loved having the bikes to use as well .

This is a lovely property. I stayed the end of June/first of July when it was rather warm during the day. It was such a relief to return to the villa with the cool tiled floors and air conditioning. The decor is fully furnished with lush draperies, carpets on the floors and comfortable furniture. Gorgeous evening views over the bay from the roof terrace and cool mornings on the patio off the kitchen were daily delights. The local Sunday market was close and was a must do! Loved the ex-pat pub for breakfast or a quick pint. Close to the bus line, food shopping, beach, restaurants and night life without infringing on the neighborhood experience. Very nice and friendly neighbors, the hotel at the end of the street let us use the pool for the days we were tired of the beach! This is a must stay villa and I hope to return next year for a repeat of the best vacation ever!

We had a good week but although we have stayed in numerous owner direct properties, there has always been a hot water system to use in bad weather .Thank goodness we only had one rainy day as with 8 people, 3 of them children we found it very difficult without hot water

At the time of this review, there was not the capability to reply to it, and this reply has not been posted for some time for some reason. We were very surprised the renters did not contact myself or my property management about the lack of hot water during their visit. Upon reading the review, it was checked and there was a fault in the water system which could have been repaired during their visit. :-/ However, we have since had installed a hot water heater/shower system in the main bathroom so there is no question of hot water for either a bath or ahower.

The property is spacious, and conveniently situated for local hotels with pools, Calis beach, shopping, restaurants and Turkish bath. It is well appointed and fully equipped for a good sized family or group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there and will definitely return.
