The Villa is made up by two indipendent flats(one reserved by the owner for maintenance ourpose only). Swimming pool is for private use of the guest.
The Villa, placed in a hillside, has been obtained from an old but recently restructured farmhouse, in the middle of a 70.000 mq land covered on oak, pine, and olive woods.
Vigna Renaro is at 1.5 Miles from the historical centre of Gubbio, 25 Miles from Perugia and Assisi, 130 Miles from Rome e Florence, 50 Miles from the Adriatic Sea.
Due to its location, it offers a wonderful view of the Gubbio high plane and of the surrounding hills.
The Farmhouse is structured in two independent apartment, one of which is used by the owner's family for the daily maintenance only. The garden, provided with awning, barbecue, tennis table, and swimming pool, is used only by the guest .
The property is surrounded by a fence. The entrance is protected by a gate: car can be parked inside.
The area is extremely safe and local people are in general very friendly and helpful.
The road to the gate is a dirtroad for 0.6 Miles , with a rather steep unasphalted slope for a short piece.

Gubbio (ITALY), town (1991 pop. 30,792), in Umbria, central Italy. It is an agricultural and tourist center and has long been known for its ceramics. Originally an Umbrian town (coins and the Iguvine Tables were found there), it later flourished under the Romans. Gubbio was a powerful free commune in the 11th–12th cent., came under the dukes of Urbino in 1384, and was held by the papacy from 1624 to 1860. A local school of painting (14th–15th cent.) included Guido Palmerucci and Ottaviano Nelli. The town retains a medieval character. Notable structures include the Gothic Palazzo dei Consoli (14th–15th cent.), the Palazzo Ducale (begun 1476), and a well-preserved Roman theater (1st cent. B.C.).
The property was very clean on arrival, well-appointed and cool in the summer heat. The grounds were very well-cared for and the pool was very welcome. While the steep and winding approach to the property is a rather daunting one at first, it can be soon mastered and the height achieved leads to some spectacular views across the plain of Gubbio towards receding ranges of Umbrian hills. The property is a convenient centre for visiting northern Umbria or the adjacent parts of Tuscany and the Marche. We were very touched by the obvious concern and friendliness of Enzo (the owner).

Glad to have Enzo meet us to show us the way. We thought the climb up the hill in the car well worth it. Fantastic panoramic views, clean and spacious villa and pool. Very well equipped. Enjoyed being there relaxing and didnt feel the need to go very far. Will definitely return.

Enzo was tremendously helpful and a perfect host, he could not do enough for us. The property is a little difficult to access up a steep slope but has tremendous views over Gubbio.
Overall a very good location and value for money.

A personal touch from the owners of Vigna Renaro made our holiday really special. We wanted for nothing during our stay and really valued the owners local knowledge about Gubbio's history, where to eat and what to visit. True Italian hospitality. The property was clean and well appointed with a fabulous pool which had wonderful views over Gubbio. Tucked away high up, in the hillside of Gubbio, the long drive up to the property is well worth it for a truly secluded and relaxing holiday.
very helpful owners, road to villa a little steep but once driven no problems views were amazing and the town was lovely shops and parking near by and free beautiful place. good food and facilities, well worth the money thank for all your help Enzo for helping make a great holiday.
We really enjoyed our stay at Vigna Renaro. The Villa was very nice ascetically, well equipped and hygenic. Our hosts Enzo and Catarina could not have been more helpful, warm and friendly. We have three children under the age of six and Enzo provided a temporary fence for the pool, which was a life saver.
The Villa itself is in a secluded location with amazing views. However, to get the views requires a hair-raising drive up the mountain!
We would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to spend time in the Gubbio region.
