Parts of the castle date back as far as the 5th century yet inside you'll find modern fixtures alongside family antiques. Perched on top of a rock overlooking unspoilt French countryside, you'll feel just like royalty. For a taste of the local character, descend to take a long stroll through the gardens to the nearby sleepy village.
Up to 20 guests can reside in this sprawling chateau with ten charming bedrooms. Have a high style dinner party together inside the grand banquet hall, or spread out among the 15 hectare park to dine al fresco or lounge by the pool under the French sunshine. Spectacular architectural details abound like the moat, the turrets, and the 18th Century pigeonnier overlooking the private pool.
This holiday chateau is easily reachable from Bergerac (11 km), the heart of the Dordogne region. There you can shop, dine, or learn about the region's wine-making at the Musee du Vins. Then set off on a tour; dozens of wineries are nestled between Bergerac and your chateau. Pick up many bottles - here you've so much to celebrate!
