Villa Lee is situated in the pretty village area of Peristerona near Polis in Paphos District. Accessed through electric gates into the extensive private grounds, this newly refurbished single storey villa has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Cyprus sunshine. It has 3 bedrooms (en-suite to master with Jacuzzi bath and super king-sized bed) and sleeps 6. It has a 10m x 5m private swimming pool with roman steps, full air-conditioning, 42’’ LCD TV with Satellite & DVD, Wi-Fi/ Internet, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 types of bbq, a 500m2 lawned area for children to play (toys also included), table tennis, and much more.

The setting is both serene and spectacular with the rolling hills of the nearby villages giving views youll remember forever. Peristerona is primarily an agricultural village producing citrus-fruit vegetables, cereals, olives and almonds. The name Peristerona derives from the Greek word for dove or pigeon (peristeri). The church, St. Barnabas and Hilarion Church, has five domes on the roof arranged in the shape of a cross, a feature only seen on one other church in the island. Peristerona is always a very green village due to the lush vegetation. It all looks particularly special in winter and spring months and is ideal for photographers, artists and those who like to walk and even hike. Both Peristerona and ‘Steni’ village centres are just 1-2km away from Villa Lee and where you will find a taste of the ‘real Cyprus’. With their mini-markets selling fresh organic produce, coffee shops and restaurants/tavernas as well as the friendly locals, you won’t have to travel far to get the most out of your holiday. Slightly further afield, you will find further amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacy, petrol station, and the more extensive choice of bars, restaurants, shops etc in Polis (8km). The nearest beach is at Latchi (12km) which is well known as one of the best on the island. You can relax and sun-bathe on the golden sand by the crystal clear waters, sit in the marina and enjoy lunch eating the day’s fresh catch or for the more adventurous there is a great choice of watersports available for all the family.

The adjacent dining/breakfasting area is equipped with a wooden table and six chairs. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern appliances including dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, waist height oven, gas hob and extractor hood, microwave and many other extras. There is ample parking at the rear and side of the house. Set within 2000m2 it is the outdoor grounds of Villa Lee which really set it apart from others. A 500m2 lawned area is fully enclosed and allows for children to play safely. There are many toys included for younger children and the older ones have space to play football, cricket or games of their choice.

The centrepiece of the holiday villas grounds however is a very inviting 10m x 5m private pool with roman steps. The spacious pool terrace is nicely equipped with 8 large sun loungers that benefit from large overhanging parasols and drinks tables. Also on the pool terrace there is a picnic bench for casual use and admiring the views as well as a pool shower and a large Stone built bbq. A further traditional style rotisserie bbq is also supplied and the owners will be only too happy to show how this works if requested. Overlooking the private pool and outside the patio doors from the dining area there is a long raised terrace shaded by a solid pergola. A large table and 6 chairs make it the perfect place for alfresco dining and socialising with your party on holiday. An external out-building for storage also hosts the washing machine. The pretty flowers, shrubs and trees add to the atmosphere, making it the ideal place for relaxing in the sun or shade.

Location Detail

Peristerona is a traditional mountain village in Paphos District, Cyprus. Its a picturesque village famous for its efforts to maintain the beauty and the traditions of Cyprus. In various locations around Peristerona there are many remarkable landmark churches. Ayios Georgios was built in the 13th century where frescoes of Saint Mama can be found and it’s still protected by the antiquities department. Churches such as Panayia Chryselousa constructed at the end of the 15th century with Byzantine and Gothic elements, Profitis Elias, Ayios Constantinos, Ayios Charalambos and the country church of Archangel Michael provide for a unique perspective of the village’s history. The famous museum of Arsinoe displays an attractive collection of objects from the Byzantine period, including Byzantine icons from the 13th to 19th centuries, as well as wood carved ecclesiastical items, local and imported silver and metal artefacts as well as textiles. Rare books and manuscripts are also on display. Peristerona is situated between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the spectacular mountains of Paphos Forest and the Troodos. Walking in the forests is a delight. Filled with pine trees, fruit and olive trees, wild flowers and herbs and vineyards the air is scented and the views spectacular. The nearby village of Steni (also steeped in tradition) hosts a coffee shop with wireless internet access and a very good traditional taverna. Travel a little further into the hills and you will find Lysos, which has a very good horse riding school (please ask for details) and is also home to a very good traditional Cyprus taverna, with neighbouring shops and the more widely known Paradisos Hills Hotel which does an excellent Sunday buffet as well as a themed Indian night on a Friday. Heading back towards the coastline and you will find the small town of Polis. There is plenty of activity to choose from in Polis, whether you wish to dine in one of the many good quality restaurants, have a coffee or lunch in the central square, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or maybe even a boat! The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best in Cyprus and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself. Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. The watersports available at Latchi include diving, snorkelling, sailing, banana rides and a great deal more. Bring your UK driving licence and you can even hire a boat and explore the Akamas coast from the sea. dro p anchor when you feel like it and swim or snorkel in the warm crystal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. For the more adventurous, you can explore the Akamas nature reserve and go all the way round to Lara Beach famous for its turtles and another wonderful unspoilt beach. You can also venture to the nearby villages of Miliou, Droushia and Panagia or further on to Kathikas with its vineyards and wineries. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in winter, you can even ski! Paphos airport is 40 minutes away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Peristerona (for a taste of the real Cyprus) and you won’t be disappointed.

Review submitted by Anonymous Reviewer from Derbyshire (Submitted: 16/10/2016) ''Villa Lee was very well equipped, functioned (shower, wi-fi, music, we didn't try the TVs as we prefer to switch off from the world on holiday) well and very clean. What we particularly appreciated was the fact that we knew exactly when Lee and Savvas were due to come round and change sheets/ towels, clean the pool. We have had villas in the past ( not with your company), where we were disturbed on a daily basis at unexpected times. The difference was most striking and refreshing. The location worked well for us.It was very private. Wonderful views. Loved seeing the wildlife. We weren't able to walk to nearby villages for evening meals, but that didn't matter. The Watermill in Steni was excellent. Great value. They also were happy to do take away food so we could enjoy food with the sunset at the villa. We preferred eating in Polis to Latchi. Tables were much more spaciously apart. Chix Chox and Finikas were great for meat dishes. Arsinoe fabulous simple fish. We liked Polis beach. We were always able to get a sun bed. Wonderful warm calm swimming in September/ October. Easy to get in and out. Agents very professional. Prompt responses appreciated and advice re car hire ( John Mullarkey provided excellent drop off service at the villa). 5. Communication was very good. No improvements to suggest. Have booked same villa for 4 weeks next year!!.''

Review submitted by Albert from East Sussex - (Submitted: 20/10/2015) ''The villa was perfect. Very clean, well presented with a good supply of kitchen appliances and utensils you would need for a holiday. The Wi-Fi always worked and never dropped out. Great Location, secluded and peaceful with stunning views. I would recommend are the Farmyard and Petradaki in Kathikas 25 minutes drive for Villa Lee but worth it. The Baths of Aphrodite restaurant in Latchi stunning views and if you have the time to go to Paphos then try the Italian restaurant Duomo a little expensive but the food and service is first class. Very professional and very satisfied with agents and owners locally. We had a great relaxing holiday and Lee and Savvos were the perfect owners who never bothered us, but we knew they were there in an emergency.''

Review submitted by Noel and Rachael from Wiltshire - (Submitted: 03/10/2015) ''We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Lee, the property was first class we especially liked the outside area where we spent most of our time, the views were stunning and the outdoor facilities provided were excellent, pool, bbq, sun loungers and the lovely garden. It was so peaceful. We would recommend the Water-Mill restaurant in Steni, great food and really good value, also the Halfway House on the Argaka road, again great food and service. The booking process and dealings with yourself regarding questions etc was excellent. The owners Lee and her husband were lovely, especially Lee, we did not have any problems at all during our stay. Yes we intend to visit Cyprus again and we will be hiring a villa. We are happy for you to use our comments on your website. Best regards - Noel & Rachel..''

We recommend Molos Restaurant, Porto Latchi Restaurant and Watermill in Steni. Excellent service from agent. More than satisfied with owner service, as always accommodating.''

Victoria Passant Oct 2014

Review submitted by Victoria from London - (Submitted: 09/10/2014) ''The Villa was great - really well appointed with lots of kitchen equipment, games & movies, lots of books and magazines, and inflatables for the pool. Everything was lovely and clean, and Lee left an amazing welcome pack for our arrival (including a bottle of wine and bread, eggs and milk for breakfast which was really appreciated!). The wifi was a great extra benefit and worked perfectly the entire time we were there. The outdoor space at the villa was spectacular, amazing views, lovely pool and great amount of space. The location of the villa was perfect for us. We wanted a villa that was reasonably isolated for some peace and quiet. You'd definately need a car but it worked well for us to have a 15 minute drive from the coast. Local shops within 5 minutes drive was really useful, and close to lots of other sights in the area. - We hired a boat for the day from Latchi Watersports which was fantastic - i'd definately recommend doing this and sailing to the little coves and beaches along the coast - Ate at Molos restaurant in Latchi which was brilliant. Lovely food and really, really nice staff. Great cocktails too! Paphos itself is worth a trip - nice old town and great archaeological park to visit. LetsRentOnline have been great - very efficient and helpful. Would definitely use them again. Great communications throughout the whole process. Villa owner came to visit us on the first morning and was very accommodating, gave lots of good advice! ''

Gary Mcintyre Aug 2014

Review submitted by Gary from St Helen's - (Submitted: 13/09/2014) ''Regarding our two week stay at Villa Lee 27/8/14 to 10/9/14. We found the villa itself very good and well equipped, it met our needs quite well, although we spent most of the time outside admiring the fantastic views spending time in the excellent pool (one of the warmest we have had) and watching the local wild life (lizards, birds and dragonflies in abundance). The evening sunsets over the hills where also something special. The restaurant's we visited where all good, the cheapest at the watermill in Steni village, only a two or three minute drive away, served very good home cooked Cypriot food, were very friendly (as were all the local people) and even did take away. Moustakallis and Finikas in Polis and Molos in Latchi (best white chocolate cheese cake in the world ?) also deserve a mention. The Old Town restaurant (on your right as you enter Polis) was the most expensive but also very good with a varied menu and once again very friendly service. Although we didn't have any problems while at Villa Lee the owners Lee and Savvas made it clear that they where only a phone call away should anything arise. Savvas came twice a week to clean the pool and Lee did the weekly clean, they where friendly and helpful. This was our third visit to Cyprus in six years but our first with LetsRentOnline we will be coming back at some point, we would not hesitate using LetsRentOnline again and would love to revisit Villa Lee. You are welcome to use our comments and name on your website. We would once again like to thank Lee and Savvas for a very relaxing, care free, two week stay at their wonderful Villa. Kind regards, The McIntyre family''

Review submitted by Andrew from Whitley Bay - (Submitted: 27/08/2014) The villa was Fantastic. Location: Breathtaking. We recommend The Water Mill restaurant in Steni. Most definitely happy with service, you have been 1st class to work with. 110%

Review submitted by Stuart from Bahrain - (Submitted: 27/07/2014) The villa was great, especially with the young children, everything was clean & tidy. The location was just right. The little Tavern about a 2 minute drive was fantastic. Friendly service and nice food. Also very good value for money. The service was straight forward and questions were answered in good time.

Review submitted by Tracey from Falkirk (Submitted: 15/07/2014) The villa was very welcoming and clean. The property was well equipped and comfortable and really was a home from home. Externally, this property far exceeded our expectations with the most amazing pool area and well kept gardens. The location of this property was stunning, with the most panoramic views. Whilst the property is very rural, the setting is idyllic and there are villages relatively close to hand by car. We enjoyed several boat trips via Latchi Watersports centre, making use of the discount available via booking with yourselves. Pathos zoo was well worth the trip. Pathos water park was fun, but would highly recommend the waterpark at Limassol ( we went twice). Neromylos Watermill Restuarant was lovely, and we ate there several times on holiday. Very friendly and welcoming with delicious Cypriot food. We would highly recommend this restuarant, and very close to villa. Very satsified - a very efficient and friendly service. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. This was our first holiday in Cyprus and intend to come back very soon.

Review submitted by Kathleen from Widnes - (Submitted: 05/05/2014) Property has been upgraded, has quite a few new features which are very nice. All new paved garden areas and updat ed decor, bedding and especially the new jacuzzi, it is fabulous and very luxurious. Immaculately clean throughout and Savvas cleaned the pool twice in a week! The location is stunning and is an absolute piece of heaven, quiet and beautiful scenery. Views are amazing, the local people are so friendly its most welcoming. Places to visit The Watermill Taverna at Steni has also expanded and is fabulous, the owners are very friendly and all speak English which makes it so nice to chat and and ask advice about the local area. Latchi Watersports have great deals and if you use the English cafe Debbies theyll get you a fab discount on boat hire! A MUST SEE is the Blue Lagoon, it is breathtaking. Lets rent online is a good service, easy to use and gives peace of mind. Helpful and approachable.Lee & Savvas are the perfect hosts, always on hand for advice or if you have a simple question. Very friendly and that makes you eager to return. You feel like you have known them for a lifetime due to their helpful friendly natures.

Review submitted by Steven from Berwick-Upon-Tweed (Submitted: 09/09/2012) The villa was very clean and well equiped. Excellent welcome pack. Well furnshed - comfy bed etc. Pool and outside outside areas were also excellent. Everything in very good condition. Lovely gardens. Easy to find and an area we know well from previous visits. Easy drive to Polis. We particularly love Moustakallis in Polis. It has been a firm favourite over the last couple of years. Excellent traditional dishes and very good value. Very welcoming and friendly staff. A very clear and easy process from start to finish. Very efficient. Great communication throughout. Lee was very friendly and helpful.

Review submitted by Mick from Norfolk - (Submitted: 30/04/2012) "Good Morning from rain soaked England. In reply to your questions. we cannot fault the villa, the location is excellent, facilities in the village are great. As for the owner Lee, she is the epitomy of a thoughtfull careing owner, and a very nice person to boot. The villa its self is clean spacious, and I suppose a bit home from home. We shall be back later this year. Best Regards. Mick Wright.

Review submitted by Meena from Herts- (Submitted: 01/11/2011) "Brilliant Villa. Well-maintained, spacious –the fruit orchard and swimming pool are highlights of the property. The location is secluded and peaceful, which suited us perfectly. Paradisos Lysos hotel in nearby Lysos has a good restaurant- family-run with tasty, authentic dishes. Very satisfied with you as agents and the local management also. Many thanks
