Discard the old image of 70s Torremolinos and discover a thriving Mediterranean resort town at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas mountains, half an hour from Malaga airport on Spain’s southern coast. Once a humble fishing village, this lively holiday destination is made up of three parts: the main urban beach and tourist area El Bajondillo, the commercial district of Playamar and the beachside district of Los Alamos. West of the town's centre lies the laid-back fishing village of La Carihuela, and Montemar to the east, which adjoins the neighbouring town of Benalmadena.

Our holiday rentals allow you to experience everything this vibrant tourist town has to offer; golden sandy beaches, year-round sunshine, golf and water sports, an energetic nightlife and excellent restaurants and bars where you can enjoy an authentic Spanish cuisine. Stretching from the centre of town down to the beach, the pedestrian street of Calle San Miguel is dotted with boutiques and shops attracting a constant flow of tourists each year. Torremolinos’ modern promenade, Paseo Maritimo, stretches from the east to Playamar, to the west where Benalmadena's famous and award-winning Puerto Marina lies. For beautiful coastal views, take a stroll along the promenade down to La Carihuela, with its traditional Andalucian houses and fishermen bringing in the catch of the day.

Torremolinos is a paradise for sun-worshippers with 7km of glorious coastline accompanied by a promenade with a whole host of amenities, from souvenir shops to seafront cafes and bars. The Costa del Sol’s coast boasts an array of water sports, from windsurfing to paragliding, water skiing and pedal boating. The pleasant Mediterranean climate also provides the perfect conditions for golfing, with plenty of 18-hole courses to choose from. Families with young children will enjoy making a splash at Aqualand, the largest water park in the Costa del Sol, just ten minutes from the town's centre. At night, watch the busy promenade come to life with partygoers and alfresco diners.
