The Weather in Lanzarote

From start to finish Lanzarote is pretty good for sunshine, though if you’re looking for some serious heat then the best months to go are easily between June and September, with August being particularly great at 29°C. August is also the best month to visit if you’re after the most sunshine and warm sea temperatures too, so be sure to book your holiday well in advance as this is understandably a very popular time to go!

That all being said, June, July and September all can reach up to 28°C too, making them big contenders for visiting, especially if you’re hoping to avoid huge crowds. 

Lastly, the coldest months are January and February and if you’re hoping to avoid too much rain then it’s best to stay clear of Lanzarote in December. 

Lanzarote is a great place for a family holiday, with great things to do and beautiful weather for huge chunks of the year, a combination that has made it one of the most popular destinations for a holiday in all of Spain.
