Friends from Reading, United Kingdom May 2019

We had a delightful week, (May 2019), staying at Ardmair Bay House - the house is as good as it looks on the website! The house is exceptionally well equipped, and sumptuous features such as the hot tub meant that even on a couple of rainy days, we still continued to enjoy our holiday. On dryer days, we explored the locality, including the mountains. Beautiful! Alison was very helpful, answering a couple of questions for us before we arrived that helped us plan our time. I would highly recommend Ardmair Bay House, and this magnificent part of Scotland for a holiday.

Family from Surbtion, United Kingdom April 2019

We had a lovely stay at the property. The property itself was well positioned, had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ideally located for taking in the delights of St Ives, and easy distance to Lands End, Sennen Cove and Hayle/Towans beach for some idyllic walks. We love it in this part of Cornwall. The address in the booking details needs to be updated to the correct one. We were expecting to stay at Chy An Chy and the property is called Richard’s Song (this name is not mentioned in any correspondence). Also the directions to the car parking space need to be made much clearer. We spent nearly half an hour driving round trying to find it, until a kind local pointed it out to us. Not well sign posted at all. This did not affect our enjoyment of our stay, it just meant our arrival was a little confusing!! Would highly recommend and we are keen to return, hopefully next Easter!

Couple from Retford, United Kingdom March 2019

Beautifully presented property, very clean. Having used several luxury self catering accommodation before this lacked a few small items. Most other properties tend to have a small basic larder such as olive oil, a few spices etc. No tea towels available had to buy some. These were only minor things and therefore did not affect our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

With more space than the photos revealed, we were delighted with this clean and comfortable house. The charm of the place and the neighborhood only added to the pleasure of our stay. We enjoyed every amenity we could have wanted and were in a perfect location for our local and more far-ranging London explorations.

The moment you decide to take a holiday is an exciting time, planning what you’ll want to do and where you’d want to go gives you that fluttery feeling of anticipation in your stomach, but very soon the classic frustrations of booking a flight quickly surface. People start to offer their advice, “book early” vs “wait until the last minute,” while giving their poorly educated opinion based on other people’s advice and myths discovered on the internet, which leads to the million-pound question; “When is the best time to book a flight?” And is there some sort of cheap flight algorithm, which others have cracked and you are left scratching your head?
