This quintessential English cottage nestles in the heart of the St Lawrence Undercliffe. A sought after location officially recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty, making it an ideal location to explore the coastal and country walks and the many attractions of the island. The cottage is completely surrounded with mature gardens and lawned areas. There are two main patio areas, one with a goldfish pond and waterfall feature. A further raised sun terrace with stunning sea views. Being one of the most southerly points in the UK, the Isle of Wight has a warmer climate than other areas particularly along the south of the island. It also has a longer growing season than other areas in the UK. The Isle of Wight hosts one of the biggest pop festivals in the country which is now award winning, also there are water sports festivals and Cowes week the biggest yachting festival in the world. Ventnor, a victorian seaside town with a Mediterranean feel, is one of the sunniest spots on the island. Built on a series of terraces beneath St Bonchurch Down the town's roads zigzag down to the sea past the beautifully planted cascade. Ventnor has become a very popular resort with the introduction of new wine bars and fine dining restaurants.

The cottage was spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean throughout with lots of character and a beautifully well-kept garden with great spaces to relax and take in the great views of the sea and coast. The three bedrooms are all good sizes with lots of storage space and with great views. The property has two bathrooms with toilets, one on each floor which is great for ease of access and use for a family. The kitchen is superbly well equipped with everything you need and more. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and even with the lovely wood burner going in the evenings, we did find that during our stay in February the kitchen, dining room and upstairs where sometimes not warm enough despite putting all the storage heaters on full.
