Because of the studio's convenient location, and its excellent transport links, this studio provides guests with ready access to all the sights and sounds of central London but at a very affordable price. The studio is 12.5 kms from London's central point, Charing Cross

This studio apartment is on the first floor of a detached house 10 minutes walk away from the local railway station. Trains go to East Croydon (3 mins) , South Croydon (10 mins), London Bridge (10 mins), Victoria (20 mins) and myriad other destinations. The studio affords privacy and is set in a friendly house. The property is centrally heated and all utility bills are included in the nightly rate. There is a wall mounted TV and free WI FI internet access. There are plenty of shops and pubs just 10 minutes walk away and central Croydon is just a 3 minute train ride away.

During the day, there are 6 trains every hour to London Bridge. Two of these trains are fast (a 10 minute journey), 2 trains stop just once, and the remaining 2 trains are slow (journey time 25 minutes). There is also a regular and frequent train service to London Victoria from the same station.

Night trains run hourly from London Victoria, or every 30 minutes from London Bridge, throughout the night to East Croydon railway station. It is a 10 minute taxi ride from there to the studio.This means you can enjoy the night life of London without worrying about getting home in the early hours. Night buses run from London's West End to London Bridge throughout the night..

The studio's sleeping facilities include a double bed, and a bed-settee. The facilities are thus suitable for a couple sharing the double bed or for two single people (one in the double bed, the other on the bed-settee). We are unable to accept a group size of more than 2 people. The studio does not have en-suite bathroom facilities although there are 2 shared bathrooms, each with a shower. Although the bathrooms are shared with the family, a queue is unlikely to occur.

The owners live on the ground floor and have 3 cats. Although the cats are not permitted in the studio, guests may encounter them on the landing or on the stairs. Guests who dislike cats or have an allergy to them should not book.

The studio apartment is conveniently situated for many of London's tourist attractions as well as its major business and commercial centres. Take a train to London Victoria and you will be in the West End with its museums, art galleries, theatres, restaurants, shops and historic buildings. Take a train to London Bridge (10 mins) and you will find yourself in the City of London and its myriad financial institutions and historic buildings. Take a boat trip on the Thames to see London east to west or visit Greenwich Maritime Village for its history and beautiful architecture. And then return to the studio where a well equipped kitchen and other creature comforts await you. Excellent value for money!

Shopping for provisions can be done in the local shopping centre of South Norwood or in Croydon town centre, which is London's biggest shopping centre outside central London. Croydon has many pubs and nightclubs and has Fairfield Halls for concert goers and a theatre. There are frequent bus, as well as train, services between Norwood Junction and Croydon town centre.

Apartment is very complete and fully meets the despription. The bed is good and the room was quiet so i slept just as good as at home. The room is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and there was always a clean bathroom free to use. Just a 5 minutes walk to the train station which brings you within 20 minutes to London Gatwick or Central London. Thanks for the perfect stay. Will be back for sure the next time i visit London.
This was an amazing find. I was a little worried about the bathroom situation but it was a pointless thing to worry about. Anita and Terry were both wonderful and made my stay amazing. They picked us up and drove us to the flat after a very long day of travel which started things off wonderfully, no one wants to wonder the streets looking for a place with all the luggage. If you get the chance to book with them you should. It was a very short walk to the train station but be advised if you are going into the city center frequently you will spend a bit more on transportation but with the money you save it is well worth it! I loved staying here and hope the next time I am in London that it will be open to book :)

It was my second stay at this appartment because there is no way you find a better price/quality apartment in London. The apartment has all you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Its clean, spacious, good bed, good couch, table, wifi works perfect, complete kitchen and a laundry machine. Location is quiet and close to supermarkets. And if you want to go to the city centre the fast train will take you in 10 minutes to London Bridge. I will certainly come back. Thanks!

I stayed for 2 nights as a complimentary guest at the apartment whilst on a business trip to London. The location is very near the railway station which has excellent, fast, frequent, and regular trains to central London. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and quiet and my privacy was respected. The bathroom and shower facilities were good and always available. It was great having my own very well equipped kitchen - this saved me the cost of eating out in cafes and restaurants. There are two supermarkets just a short walk away from where provisions can be obtained. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy London but who wants to avoid paying high London prices.
We were quite pleased how excellent the connection from Gatwick to Norwood Junction was. It took us only thirty minutes to get there. The way from the station was easy to find, its literally a right-right-left (about a five-minute walk). Anita and Terry gave us a very warm welcome and and showed us the studio and bathrooms. In the fridge we found some essentials (bread, cheese, milk) and tea and coffee was available. That really made our day. So we made ourselves a nice cup of tea and settled right in. The studio is tastefully decorated and you can see right away how much thought and love went into it. With the weather being really bad on one day, we had a lie in -it felt just like home. Everything is clean and up to date. Having certain dietary restraints, having a kitchen for our own cooking is essential for us. The fridge/freezer was immacutaly clean and with lots of space for our food shopping. All the essentials are there (pots, pans, cutlery). In our stay there was never a time when we couldnt use a bathroom, there was always one free to use. Anita and Terry were ever so helpful and made us feel welcome from the beginning. Can see us coming again for many times. Thank you for the lovely time and being such great hosts.
