A self catering holiday home a stone's throw away from the River Coquet in the beautiful Village of Rothbury. Built of natural sandstone by Lord Armstrong of the famous Cragside Estates in the 1870's.

Owl Apartment offers beautiful views towards Simonside to the West and towards the picturesque Village Church to East. Tucked away down a quiet private pathway, Owl Apartment is deceptively spacious and has been newly furnished to a high standard for holiday letting in 2016. The popular Village of Rothbury has excellent shops, restaurants and amenities and is located on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, providing an ideal base to explore rural Northumberland.
Owl Apartment is approached from the Market Place through a private pedestrian lane and then through a personal secure gate to a small courtyard. This first floor apartment has a flight of concrete steps up to the front door. The courtyard area offers further secure storage in an outhouse, perfect to lock away bicycles and other equipment. In the entrance hall you will find coat hooks and storage, ideal for kicking off those muddy walking boots! Owl Apartment is always warm with its full gas central heating and is fully equipped to an extremely high standard throughout the property.

The Entrance Hall has access to all of the rooms which include:
A comfortable and spacious Dining Lounge with wonderful views towards Simonside. There is plenty of comfortable seating for four people with a stylish leather three seater settee and a single chair, carpeted throughout with a window to the front of the property with those lovely views. High ceilings and a fresh interior only add to the feeling of space and comfort. There is a 32" LCD television, DVD player, a collection of books, games, and DVDs and free Wi-fi internet access for your entertainment. The dining area in the Lounge has a dining table and four chairs.

The attractive modern Kitchen is well equipped and fitted with a range of wall and base units with wooden work surfaces. It has modern integrated appliances including an electric oven with gas hob, a microwave and fridge freezer. A large window looking out towards Simonside gives the kitchen a bright and airy feel. The Master Bedroom, tastefully decorated in relaxing shades of purple, has a double bed with matching bed side tables, large fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. There is plenty of storage space here for everything that you would like to bring with you for your holiday. The Second Bedroom also sleeps two people with a three quarter size bed, wardrobe and offers views of Rothbury All Saints Church in the Village centre. All beds will be made up prior to your arrival and a full set of towels is provided for each person staying.

The modern Bathroom has a large shower cubicle, wash hand basin, low level WC, tiled walls and flooring and vanity mirror. Please note that due to access being on the first floor, Owl Apartment is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. There is plenty of free on street parking available within close proximity of Owl Apartment.
