The cottage was comfortable, warm and well equipped. At the front of the property there was a large garden with a good outlook but it backed onto a street with other houses, one of which had noisy neighbours. We collected the key from a key box, which was fine but if you were arriving after dark, it would be helpful to bring a torch to read the code numbers.

From Kolback, Sweden Sep 2005

The property was generally well presented although we did have a few problems such as the main bedroom door not opening from the inside. There was also problems with the air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom, althought the sseemed to be working fine once the engineer came out to look at it. Apart from that it was quite a nice villa.

Really good villa. very well situated for a wonderful holiday.

Further to my last review of Jolly Harbour Villas in general, I would say that this villa exceeded our expectations!

Luxuriously furnished, in very comfortable surroundings. VERY close to the lovely almost deserted beach (and Castaways! ;-) ), on the South finger, which is the prettier end. Villa was kept clean with maid service every other day - clean sheets, towels etc.

This is our piece of heaven on earth and would definitely go again!

Beautiful location. Very handy for the beach and all other amenities on site. Well equipped and furnished. Large supermarket, choice of good pubs and restaurants within 10 minute walk.

From York, United Kingdom Mar 2005

Airy Cottage is well equiped and within 5 mins walk of the sea, a good grocery shop and Kames Hotel - which does good food, has a nice bar and is child friendly. The street you enter the cottage from has a surprisingly high density of housing, but a couple of minutes walk and you're in open countryside. The decked area is lovely for evening drinks (even in March) and the golf / walks / ferries to islands / village shops and beach kept 4 generations happy all week!

We are a professional couple with 2 children, Airy Cottage was originally bought as our own holiday home and Carnethy which is next door for my wife's parents. When we are not using them ourselves we let them out as holiday accomodation. We have owned the houses for more than 10 ten years and have had many happy times there with our friends and family. Both houses have been extensively refurbished.
