Couple from Ringstead, United Kingdom May 2019

Tony met us on arrival and showed us around the cottage and advised about heating etc. The cottage is as advertised - beautifully clean with lovely kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and lounge which overlooked the amazing gardens. We absolutely loved it and will return next year. Tony told us about walks in the area and walked us down to the beach on the river with his beautiful dog Jessie. We loved the garden sun house which was decked out with little ones in mind and with the gypsy caravan was an amazing area for children and adults to play and relax. Our grandchildren came down to Aldeburgh for one day and absolutely fell in love with the whole package and sobbed when they had to leave. I would recommend the cottage to anyone who enjoys wonderful gardens full of bird song and wildlife and an exceptional cottage.

We had a great stay at Beaver Cottage, super cottage with outstanding views, we had 2 dogs with us and the walks in the private grounds were amazing. We would recommend Beaver Cottage to anyone that wants a peaceful space with easy access to all of Suffolk's delights. We will be returning next year.

Family from Nottingham, United Kingdom March 2018

Great cosy cottage. WHen we stayed we had really cold weather, a couple of snow showers but the cottage was lovely and warm. My husband and son saw a woodpecker out of the lounge window and on a walk back from the pub one evening we saw a young deer in the woods. The cottage is in a lovely area there are so many walks from your doorstop, and the walk up into the forest is delightful. We went into Keswick on a couple of evenings and used a taxi which cost us £8.00 great value if there are 4 of you. The nearest place to eat and drink is Brailthwaite which has 3 pubs. Our favourite is middle ruddings which has a great selection of beers and spirts, especially gin and the food is good. It's a five minute drive or about a 40min walk. This cottage is great value for money in a great location.
