We are a family with elderly and children. The Chepstow Rise house is located near to East Croydon, where we can easily get to the train station as well as to the bus stop. The neighbourhood is peaceful at night, and the house is suitable for family stay with children. The only point to take note is there is a short flight of stairs immediately after the door, leading to the living room/kitchen, and then to the bedroom. So, for our stroller, we left it inside the house, by the door, before the stairs. The house is well furnished. There is also WIFI connection available. Washing machine and refrigerator is available. Overall, we are very satisfied with the house. Great.

Rent well located, it is a pity that for the price of the rental the parking is not included. This requires organization and currency to pay for parking every day from 9am. The sofa bed is not comfortable enough and hurts the back. Lack of pillows and more.

The apartment was offered as a replacement, but we were very satisfied with it. As a family with two adults and three children we had enough space in three bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The relatively steep stairs (1st and 2nd floor) make the apartment unsuitable for people with limited mobility. There is only one bathroom / toilet. Overall, the apartment was clean and in good condition, but lacked the facilities here and there something (for example, no small spoons). Croydon is a quiet, pleasant residential area. Parking costs 3.20 pounds / day. It takes about 15 minutes by foot to get to East Croydon station and then take a 20-minute train ride to London Bridge (day ticket including London Underground £ 12.30 for adults and £ 6.10 for children, as of 04 / 2017). The communication with the landlady was easy; the service by Interhome top! Conclusion: The apartment is a good starting point for fit London visitors with a desire for self-sufficiency; but please do not expect a luxury apartment.
