This stunning three bedroom/two bathroom townhouse has just been transformed from sultry reds and monotones to a new beautiful bright and summery look! Not that it wasn't stylish before... it was... but now it's brighter and more airy to lift your spirits and relax you at the same time. No expense has been spared to create this into an individual and stunning home, ideal for families and sharers. It definitely stands out from the crowd. There are glass banisters from ground to second floor to let the light through and a stunning skylight over the kitchen table. There is also a private courtyard garden with quirky features like milk churns to sit on...!

GROUND FLOOR
Entrance is on street level. A lobby for coats and hats (including a couple of macs and umbrellas) leads you into a spacious through-lounge with doors opening onto a private courtyard. There is a utility area with washer/dryer and fridge leading into an impressive kitchen with black gloss units and table illumined by a skylight. One of the walls is a chalk board too so you can write messages to each other or let your kids go mad with some chunky chalk sticks.

In the utility cupboard you'll find everything you need - an iron, plenty of airing racks, washing powder, softener, vacuum cleaner and all the usual items you'd expect at home.

This kitchen has all the mod-cons, plus tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and all the condiments you'd hope for. It is also very well equipped with a huge array of crockery, pots and pans, glasses and cups. I don't think there is anything here you would not find if you wanted it!

The lounge is double-glazed so although the property is right in the city centre, anyone using the sofabeds will have a restful night’s sleep.

FIRST FLOOR
Family bathroom: a stunning bathroom with WC, basin and feature roll top bath with shower over. Ample towels, basic toiletries and toilet tissue included.
Bedroom 1: the double-glazed Bedroom 1 is currently arranged with two single beds and two 2ft 6 antique French metal bed. This is a beautiful room with fitted wardrobes and a chandelier. It also has a wall-mounted TV/DVD player with Freeview.
Bedroom 3: this room features a super king sized bed which can be split into two singles.

SECOND FLOOR
This floor is entirely occupied by the "master suite" - a beautiful tranquil loft room and ensuite bathroom with basin, WC and Whirlpool jet bath with both shower over and hand-held shower. The jet bath measures 1800 x 1000 so plenty of room for two - or more! There's a variation of jet speeds and underwater lighting too. Underfloor heating also installed. This is certainly the “love nest” of the house with a TV/DVD player with Freeview and stereo/docking station. It has a super king bed and plenty of storage.

This property carries a £500 refundable security deposit.

PARKING

I have a limited number of Zone Z resident's permits. This zone covers the roads around the town centre including Dean Street. Spaces are not guaranteed but you should find somewhere in Dean or Crown Street if you arrive during restricted hours. You will need a permit each day between 09:00-20:00 including Sunday and Bank Holidays.

I found the whole process of renting this house very easy from the onset. I was able to contact the owner with any questions I had and got very quick responses. The house was very true to the pictures but so much more detail. the purpose of my stay was for a Hen weekend and it was ideal for a group of girls. there was beds for us all, however I think the house would be best suit for about 10 people. Check in and check out was very easy. I would definitely recommend this house, as would any of the group members I was with. Location was ideal, steps away for shops of all sorts and very close to the pier.

Myself and a large group of friends stayed at the Dean Street Townhouse, Brighton for 2 nights over New Years 2014 & it was fantastic! We were a large mixed group in our late twenties & the house was perfect for us! The house is very spacious, clean & has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Location is more than ideal as you are very central, so within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars & pier! Nathan who met us on arrival could not have been more helpful & explained everything we needed & assisted with local parking. I would definitely recommend staying here & will hopefully be back soon myself!

I booked this place for a hen weekend and it was surprise to the hen party as they didn’t know where we were staying. It certainly has the wow factor and they all loved it! It had everything you could want from a short stay - Close to all restaurants/bars/shops - Clean - Has towels/hair dryers/pots/pans etc - Has tv/music docking points etc - Has a lot of character Amazing place, awesome stay and would definitely recommend.

Amazing quirky house, great for groups of friends. Be aware one of the bathrooms has a se through door! Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials, great location if you want to be close to the shops. Good cafe on the corner of the street, reasonable and good quality food. Want to go back already!

We had a wonderful time at the property. Nathan, the representative who met us was very helpful, welcoming and informative ane we found we had everything we needed - with lots of little extras! We were also very central! Thw only minor problem was, that despite following the instructions to keep the shower curtains in the bath, the shower in the main bathroom leaked. This meant that we all had to use the en-suite in the master bedroom - which meant getting 8 girls ready in an evening took considerably longer! Would definately recommend and hope to visit again one day.

Amazing house, fully equipped with everyone one needs and in an ideal central location. The landlord was easily contactable, Nathan was a great help too, and was always willing to help with any problems. Its only downfall was the dishwasher wasnt working but thats hardly a downfall at all. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again myself.

The Dean Street Town house was exactly as described both by the owner and other reviewers and I have already recommended it to anyone who asked about our Brighton trip. The quality of both the decor and design was outstanding and we appreciated the little touches - lots of toiletries, rows of books, DVDs and cds. The location was ideal and the restaurant on the corner (opposite the M one) does fantastic food to eat in or takeaway. I was delighted with my choice as rental properties can be a bit of a lottery.

Myself and a group of 10 friends hired this house for a Hen weekend. The place was brilliant! amazing decor, quirky touches and the house had everything you could ever need and more, including a charger for my camera which I had left at home! the central location was just what we needed, and the extra touches like toiletries to use and tea and coffee provided were a real bonus. however there were a couple of small down sides (nothing that would put me off returning). With so many of us sharing the house, the clear glass door to the en suit bathroom was a bit of a pain, especially when we were trying to get ready to go out. we are all girls and pretty good friends, but even still didnt really want to watch each other having a wee! although to be fair to the owner we were advised the house was more suited to 8 guests. the other down point is also bathroom related, the shower in the main bathroom looks great but is completely impractical, we took great care with it and yet still the water came through the kitchen ceiling(a problem the owner admits frequently happens). when we contacted the lady responsibly for the house to tell her what had happened (who in turn called the owner) we were given a bit of a lecture (from both people) on using the shower correctly and how costly it is to continually repair the kitchen ceiling because people dont do as they are asked. I personally feel I was spoken to in a slightly rude and patronising manor. I was made to feel that our damage deposit was at risk of not being returned (this was luckily not the case) so because of this we decided that we would not use the shower for the rest of the weekend, and all used the en suit for showering. so in summary, this place is amazing, and I would highly recommend it , so much attention to detail and a great location. Jo was so helpful throughout the whole booking process, and was happy to answer my mountain of questions. the house is probably more suited to smaller groups or a couple of young families. just beware when using the shower!

There was 8 of us that stayed at the house and we were in ore of the level of detail, quirky furtniture and display items within the house. Jo met us promptly and has thought of everything, including toiletries, tea coffee etc. The glass bathroom door in the ensuite was a surprise! very continental.. I would not hesitate to book again, but do agree with a previous review regarding length of time damage deposit is taken for, when credit card details may suffice. Overall a fabulous house in a central location.

The booking system was very easy to use and the owner was very helpful in answering queries. The property was good value for money and exceeded our expectations. The decor was very stylish and top quality and everyone was very impressed. The description was very accurate and we could have asked for nothing more - Jo, the owner, had thought of everything that could possibly be provided. We would definitely recommend it - its perfectly placed for everything being just a few minutes walk from the shops, the sea front, The Lanes, The Pavilion - in fact everything. There were 10 of us in the property for the weekend (the maximum number) but we didnt feel cramped at all and with the good weather we were able to make good use of the courtyard. We were well looked after both before, during and afte the stay.

We stayed here for a Hen Do a few weeks ago, a group of 9 and had a blast! The owner and her colleaugue were very helpful all the way through the booking lead up and answered every little question we had, promptly. They gave us some great advice on arrival too on places to park etc. The kitchen is well stocked, which is great, as we were a large group drinking all sorts of tipples. I think that for a group of 8-9 this place works best, providing ample room for all. Great location, walks distance to the beach, shops and nightlife so no need for a car. We visited the Dean Street Townhouse for a long weekend in March and I must say all 12 of us had the most amazing time! The house had a real WOW factor, the decor was amazing, there were so many little touches that made it a real treat to stay there. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics, plenty of tea bags etc. There was plently of seating for over 12 in the lounge and the sleeping arrangements were great. They even had a vast array of CDs, ipod docks in most rooms, luxury bathrooms and plenty of mirrors which is vital when youre all getting ready to hit the town! The location is perfect, we didnt have to take cabs or public transport anywhere, and the pub opposite is great for a fun low key night out. Parking was great, we didnt have trouble getting spaces. Wed all highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brighton in a large group, and will all be returning. Just remember loo rolls, we were only supplied with a couple and the first floor shower is VERY hot but the top floor one is fine.

The property was gorgeous and had loads of extras that you wouldnt normally find to make the stay very homely (board games, dvds, bath products, comfy furniture, tvs in the bedrooms). There were plenty of cleaning and bath products for us to use while we stayed so we didnt need to buy anything but, food and drink. There were so many personal touches it felt like a home away from home. It was close to the centre so all of the shops were on your doorstep. I would definitely stay again and want to find an excuse to! Jo, the owner, was great, too and met us on time and made the booking process very easy!

The property was absolutely wonderful and Jo, the owener, couldnt have been more helpul. It was perfect for my hen weekend with 8 girls - there was plenty of space for all of us. The property is really central, so you dont need to walk far or get taxis - everythings on the doorstep. The interior is gorgeous and we really felt at home during our stay. My only criticism is the was the way the rental company manages the security deposit for the house. A £500 security deposit has to be paid one month before the stay and was only returned to me 2 weeks after our stay, meaning I was without £500 for 6 weeks. I completely understand that some security is needed, but when I have rented places before only my credit card details were taken in case of any damage, which worked well.
