Ardnamurchan Peninsular NW Highlands of Scotland. Strontian village, with Loch Sunart, is 12 miles from the Corran Ferry. Drimnatorran Farm Lodge is a 5 minute drive from the village, set within 47 acres of farmland. A recently built farmhouse extension and fully equipped with central heating and woodburning stove for a very comfortable stay. Two downstairs bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 twin single beds) and bathroom/shower wet room, one upstairs bedroom (double 4 poster) with bathroom (with bath), kitchen (electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, table seats 6) and large sitting room (leather sofas, chairs, satellite tv, dvd player, cd player, books and board games). All windows have views over the local hills.Free wifi throughout the building. The area is known for its incredible beauty and wilderness. Wildlife can be observed visiting the surrounding fields on the farm, especially from the lounge windows.
Hens, geese, ducks, pigs and Dexter cattle are reared here. Farm free-range eggs, pork and beef is on sale, subject to availability. The area is renowned for its rugged beauty and wilderness, abundant wildlife all around and the opportunity to observe at close quarters. Sailing, fishing, walking, cycling, trekking are active pursuits to enjoy but subjects for painting, drawing and photography are easily found in this stunning landscape.

Car hire is recommended as the farm house is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
