Stable Cottage is a lovingly restored single storey stone barn conversion ideally placed at the foot of the Cheviot Hills, on the edge of Northumberland National Park, yet still within a short drive of Northumberland's Heritage Coast. This idyllic hideaway cottage was completed late in 2012 and benefits from double glazing throughout, oil central heating and 3' walls. Here you are surrounded by stunning rugged beauty, perfect tranquillity and outstanding views. Step out from the front door into some of the best walking country in England.
Stable Cottage has been sympathetically renovated as part of what had been a former cattle court, it is tucked away in the foothills of the Cheviots and within walking distance of Breamish Valley and on the edge of the National Park. There are lots of walks locally without having to drive far, near Branton are the Branton Ponds which are pleasant walks and lots of wild life. Northumberland has lots to offer with rugged hills and coastal castles, the most well known is Alnwick Castle and gardens the former is of Harry Potter fame.
