A holiday destination second to none
The Mediterranean Turquoise coast lives up to its reputation as one of Turkey's premier holiday destinations. Situated between the old Turkish port town of Fethiye and the blue lagoon beach of Oludeniz, our apartment is set up in the higher, cooler village of Ovacik, with spectacular views towards the sea and the mountains. The local Dolmush routes go past the end of the road, to Fethiye in one direction and Oludeniz in the other, so you can benefit from a quieter environment while still being very close to all the local amenities.
The local area boasts a wealth of attractions. Take a boat trip round the 12 islands, diving off the boat into the warm sea at every stop, and enjoy a lunchtime feast on the beach. Paraglide off Babadag mountain, go diving in the local waters, or take a jeep safari inland. Visit the rich historic heritage of the region, such as the tombs of the Lycian kings, the remains of numerous classical Roman and Greek cities, or the abandoned Greek village of Kayakoy. Enjoy shopping in the market at Fethiye, or let your hair down in the bars and restaurants of Hisaronu. Explore the wooded mountain paths, either on foot, on horseback, or by bike. Or simply spend your time lazing on the beach and swimming in the sea at Oludeniz. All these are right on your doorstep. And further afield, there are regular excursions to regional attractions, such as the ancient Roman city of Ephesus, the cotton castle rock pools of Pamukkale, the 17 mile long Saklikent gorge, and the Turtle beaches of Patara and Dalyan. Whatever your interests, you will find there is something here for you.
We are a family of four and we had a great holiday in this lovely apartment which was clean, comfortable and cosy. It was exactly as described on the website and as shown on the photographs. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials but we found the electric cooker rings painstakingly slow to warm up! The upstairs ensuite bedroom was spacious and beautiful although we found the living room area a bit cramped for four adults. However, as we spent most of our time exploring the area and enjoying the pool it didnt really bother us too much! The poolside had fabulous views of the Babadog mountains and the gardens were well kept and tidy.
We were very fortunate to have a lovely couple who live there as neighbours who we made friends with. They gave us some invaluable insider tips of the area, answered any queries, provided a nice welcome hamper and even rescued us when we locked ourselves out!!
The local dolmus which we took from from outside the apartment got us to the nearby towns of Hisaronu and Fethiye were frequent and cheap.
On the whole, we had a brilliant time in Turkey and this apartment was comfortable and certainly met our expectations. Would definitely recommend this property.

Have just returned from a lovely stay in Ovacik. The apartment was cool, comfortable, spotless and very convenient for restaurants, bars, shops, the town of Fethiye and the beach at Oludeniz. Great to have a pool there as well which was never too busy, even though shared with other apartments. We would definitely consider returning again given there is so much to do in the vicinity. Highlight for my teenagers was the jeep safari - great fun!

We have had our honey moon in this spectacular villa. The place is absolutely gorgeous and really beyond our expectations. We were shocked how the place is tidy and clean. The lay out of every single piece in the villa was so fantastic. The view was stunning from the verandas. Our neighbours were also kind and helpful. You just feel you are in a better place than home in this place. . Definitely 1000% recommended.

We have just returned from our holiday to Chateaux A2. We had a fantastic time with wall to wall sunshine for the whole time, which considering the British weather when we left was great. The apartment was more than big enough for the five of us and all the little extras (the European plugs, hairdryers, scissors among other things) were very useful. My Daughters were quite taken with the Lime as we christened it (beanbag). The pool area is lovely and the gardener/maintenance man was always busy keeping it tidy. The only thing I would say is that an extra sunbed by the pool would be useful as there is only four and the apartment sleeps six. We had to keep taking a chair down or even the Lime for the extra person. But really not what I would call a problem. The transfer was also excellent.

First trip to Turkey and we werent disappointed.
Beautiful villa and pool. Very clean and also well maintained, pretty garden area. Fellow villa residents very friendly. The lovely lagoon beach is not within walking distance but the frequent and very reasonably priced resort minibuses mean this is not a problem and can be reached within 15 mins.
We found it easy to walk the main strip to nearby Hisoranu in 25-30 mins where restaurants were a plenty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at the Piano bar restaurant.
Would definitely recommend this villa and resort to family and friends.

This apartment represents excellent value for money. It is very comfortable, well equipped and maintained, as are the grounds and pool. It even came with a pot of marmite! Self catering is made easy by the presence of a supermarket within a couple of minutes walking, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. Why pay more to enjoy this justifiably popular holiday destination?
