Villa overview - owner's description

Dalyan is a small friendly resort and is one of turkeys best kept secrets, great for families with the town being sufficiently family orientated to allow teenagers some independence while still offering plenty for younger children and parents too. Situated on the bank of a river, the resort is a short trip to the famous Iztuzu beach with a leisurely boat ride or by bus / car.

Villa Rosina is situated just outside of Dalyan in Okcular with a view of the mountains and the peace that comes with a rural location, it is a short 5 minutes by bus (they run every 15 minutes in the summer) from the end of the road into town with all the bars and restaurants Dalyan has to offer, the villa provides an ideal place to rest and relax after sunny days out.
The villa is also recently refurbished to a high standard with a modern kitchen and new air conditioning throughout. There are sunbeds for soaking up the sun as well as comfy chairs in the shade to escape the afternoon heat and relax. The property is surrounded by Oleander bushes providing privacy from the front with the rear open for views of the mountain. The outdoor seating area also has a BBQ area for those quiet evenings in.
Upstairs you'll find a master bedroom with a king size bed and dressing area, a second bedroom with two singe beds as well as a bathroom and enclosed outdoor balcony to make the most of the view in all weather (and a fridge for those cold drinks).
Downstairs there is a third bedroom with another king size bed and a bathroom with shower as well as the main living area and kitchen/ diner. The TV has plenty of English channels available through a TV box and options to sign in to your Netflix / Spotify accounts etc. with WiFi available for your devices.
Locally there's plenty to do to keep a family happy for a couple of weeks. For the active, there's mountain biking, sea kayaking, paragliding, diving, watersking and rafting not to mention all the local walking routes, for the less active there are the incredible ruins of Caunos to explore, mud and thermal baths, boat cruises, fishing and the Saturday markets, But most impressive of all are the Caretta turtles which can be spotted around turtle beach at Iztuzu. We can put you in touch with a local company to arrange tours, days out and car hire if you ask.
Food wise expect traditional Turkish fare, as well as the more familiar pizza and English food, the local fish is excellent, plus there are lots of meze, aubergines, kebabs, pilav (rice dish) and borek (stuffed flaky pastry) All the restaurants are very friendly and popular with families, they are always lively with a warm hospitality, the nearest reastaurant is a short walk down the road to the next turning in Okcular for when you don't want to go into town.

Couple from Standon, United Kingdom Sep 2015

On arrival at the villa we were met by Musti the owner agent who spent time and showed us around and advised on equipment controls etc.
We were most impressed by the generous nature of the welcome packs and it's contents.
The Villa felt very homely with added advantage of a pool that is in the sun all day and fantastic view of the mountains, keep an eye open for the mountain goats!
The Marmali location is very rural but access to Dalyan is available by a 2lira Dolmus Bus or a 20lira Taxi ride and a hire car is useful!
All in all if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the location and villa for you!

Couple from London, United Kingdom Jun 2015

This is the best villa we have stayed in terms of facilities and everything being just right. It is a car/bus ride from the centre of Dalyan and the pool is modest in size but you can see all that from the ad. If you hire a car, as we did, Dalyan is three minutes away. As frequent villa renters in Dalyan we were most impressed by the small but vital touches - welcoming food pack + giant water bottle, plenty of coat hangers, plenty of clothes pegs, the air con units had a remote control each(something we are not used to in Dalyan!), none of the remotes had dead batteries (ditto) and there was a pack of spares, it was properly mosquito proof, there were plastic pinic plates as well as crockery which was really handy, the wifi actually worked and the TV has an internet link to British tv channels, which we weren't expecting (most villa TVs don't even have BBC World Service). The villa is also very secluded from the back, with just views over open countryside and the amazing rocky hills.
Most importantly the owner, Jan, was easily contactable by phone and email, was very helpful and was staying in the villa opposite when we were there. Also the man who looked after the villa was excellent, spoke very good English and lived a few doors away.
We will certainly stay there again. By the way, we only dropped a star on the advert accuracy, because there were important good things she didn't mention.

Family from Moscow, Russia Aug 2013

Villa Rosina is a wonderful place for family holidays. Very peacefull and private. Great place for rest. I will suggest to rent a car, as Daylan is 5 min drive and Iztuzu beach is 20 min drive. Very beautifull views while driving to the beach: mountains, lake, forests. Villa is very comfortable. Great pool and small garden. Patio and BBQ place are great to relax in the evenings.

From Hull, United Kingdom May 2011

The villa is in an ideal spot the view of the mountains is fantastic. The pool is great. The transfers were on time and the staff friendly We had a problem that the front door would not open for the staff on our arrival but they attempted to mend it straight away. They didnt completely fix it so we had to use the bedroom door all week - not a problem for us but could be for someone else if it didnt get sorted out. We reported the sir con in one of the bedrooms and they fixed it straight away. The villa is great and we would love to saty again ideal for us has a family.

From Harrow

The property we found looked a bit dated, but was fantastic for our needs, the interior was clean but it seems when it was decorated they painted the door frames which was a shame as they were plastic and the paint did not stick. other than that we had a great two weeks the family loved it. The fridge was way too small for a family of six, the pool was good although there was too much clourine in the water and we had it tested by a friend who showed us the results not good I have a ear infection from this, we reported this to Ali and hopefully it will be put right, the balcony light was not adequate and only one pool light was working. It may sound as if we are moaning but all these points do need addressing. We had a great holiday at the villa and would recommend this to any one who would like to visit Dalyan, the people are very friendly and the food is brilliant can recommend the Kordon Steak House the fish as well as the steak is the best in Dalyan. Please note the fare on the Dolmus is 2Lire do not pay more, when returning from Dalyan ask for Marmala Stop 2
