The villa is situated near the beautiful and peaceful village of Gumusluk, which is world famous for its fantastic fish restaurants, and is great for snorkelling. There are fantastic views across the Aegean from the terrace and balcony areas. The location is very peaceful but is also within easy reach of Turgetreis (by car or Dolmus), with its many shops, bars and restaurants, and marina. The dolmus service leaves from the end of the road (on the main road), and runs until 5am in the summer season. A car would be an advantage to enable you to explore the many local beaches in the area (and car hire can be arranged). Bodrum is only 30 minutes drive, with its historic castle, beautiful marina and shops and lively bars.

The villa is an ideal place to relax, with its stunning pool overlooking the islands and the Aegean. There is a wonderful sunbathing area, with loungers and parasols. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes walk (or a couple of minutes by car), down the hill through the Gumsan One complex. This is very safe for swimming, as the swimming area is boomed off from the boats, and is protected from the prevailing breeze. There is a toddlers splash pool here as well (salt water of course). The villa has its own garden area to relax in. Water and fresh bread are delivered to the villa daily for a very small charge by the complex caretaker. The complex has a really friendly atmosphere, and the caretaker (called Sinan) speaks some English and is very helpful.

Easy Access
The villa is conveniently situated less than an hours drive from Bodrum airport. Flights to Bodrum can be found easily throughout the season and are available from many regional airports. Car hire is cheap, but airport transfer can be arranged to the property if you do not wish to hire a car.

The villa is wonderful, with a beautiful view of the distant sea and islands. There was loads of space for the family and everything we needed to be really comfortable. The neighbours were so friendly, we got to know some of the Turkish families and the other british and irish residents. We found a car really useful to get to the beaches, as the walk was a bit too much for the little ones, but there is a bus stop very close by as well. The supermarket at the bottom of the road was ideal, and we loved the pool, which was uncrowded and very clean. Thank you so much to Jess and Tony for giving us such a special holiday.

We had a wonderful holiday in the villla. This was our first holiday abroad for a while because my elder son is on an extremely strict diet and has special needs. The owner, Jessica, did everything possible to ensure that our holiday was a success and was stress free. She was always very happy to answer any questions we had. There our 4 of us (my husband and I and our 2 sons aged 8 and 6) and the house felt very spacious and very clean. We spent most days by the beautiful pool as our boys loved it (and that meant relaxation for us!). It was never crowded. Some days we also walked to the beach (down the slope by the mosque) and that was very nice and safe swimming. Walking back can be very hot and tirring but when youve got a lovely swimming pool to dive in at end, who could complain! We didnt hire a car but we knew we wouldnt do very much exploring. Others might however think it essential. It was the perfect holiday for us - lovely hot weather, relaxing, very friendly people and not touristy at all.

Beautiful villa in a quite part of the Bodrum peninsula. Great for families as the villa has a grassed lawn and the pool has a children's section. Close drive to beaches. The caretaker very helpful and friendly. The neighborhood was very peaceful and calm. Definitely recommend!
Owner reply:

thank you for your review, Eric - we are pleased that you found the villa to be so good - we think so too!
