This fabulous apartment has panoramic views of Mandalya Bay from every room. The main balcony is the perfect place for watching the beautiful sunsets over the bay. Our guests love it and many come back each year.

Gulluk is a quiet fishing village and popular resort. It is a short fifteen minute drive or taxi ride from Bodrum International Airport. The Bodrum Peninsula is described by the Sunday Times as the Mediterranean's hottest spot and Gulluk is on its north shore, a few miles from Turkbuku and Yalikavak, which are where Turkey's rich and famous take their vacations.

Seaside Park is an exclusive development of only eighteen apartments in two three-storey blocks. They are set in their own private grounds with a fabulous "infinity" communal swimming pool and a smaller paddling pool for children (available from April through to October). The pool has a number of sun recliners for the less energetic! It is also covered by the wi-fi for those who want to surf. Although we advise a hire car, many of our guests have great holidays without one. Taxis from the airport are not expensive and EasyJet, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Jet 2 and many others operate direct flights to Bodrum from March to October.

This beautifully appointed, spacious penthouse apartment, A-8, is the centre one of just three on the top floor of Block A and is furnished to a high specification. The apartment is large at 105 square metres and has tremendous panoramic views of Mandalya Bay from all three balconies, with the living room balcony being large enough for al-fresco dining. The large living room has two comfortable settees (one of which converts into a full size double bed), wi-fi and satellite television in the sitting area, as well as a full sized dining table and six chairs in the dining area. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect holiday, including a dishwasher, hob, microwave and fridge. The main balcony off the living room has patio furniture and is large enough for al-fresco dining. There are even sun-lounger covers for using beside the pool. Both bedrooms are spacious and have their own balconies. Each bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together to form a super-kingsize double or set as twin single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower-room whilst the second bedroom has a separate shower-room beside it, which also contains a washing machine.

Please note that we advise against young children because the balconies and stairs have some horizontal bars which would allow climbing. Also, although there is a toddler pool, the main pool is 1.5 metres deep throughout.

We fell in love with the views and spaciousness of the apartments when we first saw the location and plans. We were not wrong. It has turned out to be one of the most desirable and exclusive developments in Gulluk. We loved it so much that our family purchased several apartments, which we use both for the family and as holiday homes.

A hire car is not essential because the dolmus minibus service runs regularly along the coast road close to the apartment throughout the season. We would recommend a hire car if you want to visit Bodrum or play golf. If you want to hire a car, then there is plenty of space to park it. Apart from enjoying the sun, views, pool, gardens, beach and peace, you will want to enjoy some of the excellent fresh fish and food served in Gulluk. We have so far never been disappointed with the quality and taste of the fresh fish! There is a shop just 200 metres from the apartment and in 2015 a second bar/restaurant should be opening within easy walking distance. The new yacht marina is also opening in the late summer, which will provide additional facilities.

You will also want to visit Bodrum to enjoy the great cosmopolitan flavours of this great resort town. It has history, shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. You may want to play golf at the great course at Vita Park nearby and you may also want to visit some of the historic sights such as Iassos. For family entertainment, you could send a day in Gumbet which has water parks through to banana boats. Alternatively you could visit the beach clubs in Turkbuku or Yalikavak. The choice is yours!

We were very disappointed that no mention was made of the fact that the property overlooked a very large building site at approximately 100 metres away with daily ongoing work and noise, added to which for our second week work commenced on the construction of a marine at the bottom of the hill, which was also overlooked from the balcony. As a consequence the view from the infinity pool is no longer over the bay but gives a view of the tops of the building being constructed. Due to the foregoing circumstances we did not enjoy the quiet and restful break which we had anticipated.

I am so sorry that the building work on the Greenhill development beside us detracted from the enjoyment of your holiday. As you say, the new buildings impact the view in one direction from our pool, however there are still lovely views from the pool over the bay towards the west. Luckily the Greenhill development has little effect on the views of the bay from the apartment itself.

What a fantastic holiday location. The views from the apartment are breath-taking. Sea Side Park is a quiet destination outside the village of Gulluk, which is about to be improved with a new Green Hill development nearby. This will mean an improvement to the closest beach to the apartment, and the addition of a bar and café perhaps by summer 2015. (Which will be 100m away). The apartment ‘does exactly what it says on the tin’. It was a perfect large living space for our family holiday. Contact with the Mavi agent was effortless, thoughtful and considerate. Yaman arranged our taxi transfers and was only a telephone call away. The facilities suit family life and we made full use of the dishwasher and washing machine. It was wonderful to be able to cook a proper meal and enjoy eating indoors and outside on the spacious balcony. The pool and the surrounding garden is well maintained. Contact with the owner was honest, clear and informative. The Yasemin supermarket is quite rustic, however you will get the very basic essentials for snacks and drinks. The Yasemin Sites beach a short stroll away is wonderful, where you will find a snack bar, pool… and free sun loungers. I would definitely recommend living here, it’s a wonderful location. We did not have a car and made full use of the local Dolmus, however I could see car hire being a huge advantage to access the surrounding area as Gulluk is only a few minutes away. We are already considering booking up for next year… perhaps for longer. 5 Stars from us. The Parsons Family

We found the apartment spacious and clean. The television had a defect with degenerating picture which eventually disappeared altogether, access was a bit difficult with underfoot conditions rough due to adjacent building works. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and I am sure the conditions mentioned above will be ironed out before long.

We were staying in gulluk for two weeks 31st august to 14th sept 2013 It was a great holiday,spacious apartment prity well equipped in the kitchen area,very comfortable seating in the lounge area and good dining too in fact the apartment was excellent. .The pool and gardens are beautiful cleaned and maintained every day, breakfast on the main balconey with wonderful views to set you up for the day,easy access into gulluk all you could want shopping eating walking along the harbour taking in the sites. Stayed 01 Aug 2013 with Family
We stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks in August 2013 (family of 4, including boys aged 5 and 8 years). We landed at Milas / Bodrum airport late at night, which is approximately 20 mins drive from the apartment. We were met by a rep from Mavi and were very grateful for their help. They helped us get our bags up to the top floor and even escorted me to the local shop. In August, the air conditioning in the apartment was essential and kept it cool throughout. The apartment is very spacious and modern. The views from every single window and door are spectacular. The large balcony off the living area was perfect. Plenty big enough to gather for lunch and a wonderful place to watch the sunset every night. The pool was a real treat, kept very clean, and was exactly the right temperature. We didnt experience any difficulties with it being shared. There is some ongoing building work all over the area, but nothing which caused us any problems. There are a couple of local shops very close to the apartment for basics and Gulluk (local fishing village) is 5 mins plus in a car, or 45 mins on foot. Gulluk is a no frills, local working fishing village. But is has everything you need including a supermarket, restaurants, a market, bakers etc. The local bread is fantastic and I highly recommend the bakers in Gulluk for sweet and savoury breads and scones. Everyone we came across was really friendly and welcoming and they were lovely to the kids. If you are looking for a modern, spacious apartment, with great views and to experience a traditional Turkish village, then this is an ideal apartment. It is also great value for money. If you have young children and go when the temperatures are high, then in my opinion a car is essential. We liked the apartment so much that we are returning in 2014!
