Bay View Penthouse Apartment, A-7 Seaside Park, Gulluk

Overview

Our guests love this apartment! The main balcony has beautiful views over the bay and the living room and bedrooms are so generous. Many guests return each year because it is only fifteen minutes from Bodrum International airport which is served by direct flights from Easyjet, Jet 2, Thomson, Thomas Cooke, Pegasus and many others.

Seaside Park is an exclusive, small development of only eighteen apartments in two three-storey blocks. They are set in their own private grounds with a large "infinity" communal swimming pool and a smaller paddling pool for children, both of which are open from April through to October. This beautifully appointed, spacious penthouse apartment, A-7, overlooks the bay, gardens and swimming pool from the top (second) floor of Block A and is furnished to a high specification. The apartment covers 105 square metres and has fabulous panoramic views of Mandalya Bay from all three balconies, with the living room balcony being large enough for al-fresco dining. The large living room has two large comfortable settees (one of which converts into a full size double bed), wi-fi and (limited) satellite television in the sitting area, as well as a full-sized dining table and chairs in the dining area. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect holiday, including a dishwasher, hob and fridge. Both bedrooms are spacious and have their own balconies. Each bedroom has twin beds which can be put together to form a super-kingsize double or set as twin single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower-room whilst the second bedroom has a separate shower-room beside it, which also contains a washing machine.

Please note that we have shown that the apartment is not suitable for children and infants because the stairs and balconies have some horizontal bars. Also the swimming pool is 1.7m deep throughout.

The closest beach has recently been extended to include a larger area for sun loungers and umbrellas. Also we expect a bar restaurant and some shops to open in 2015 in the Greenhill development which is just a short walk away. There is another beach within ten minutes walk which has games and a play area for children.

We believe that "the price you see is the price you pay". The apartment rental is for the use of this beautiful apartment, but it also includes bed linen, towels, electricity, cooking gas and water as well. It is tremendous value with no hidden costs. There is a really great pool and quiet, sunny gardens. The beach and sea are only a very short walk from the apartment. There are regular dolmus minibus services into the village centre but you may want to rent a hire car, collected from the airport and returned to the airport. We would recommend a hire car if you want to visit Bodrum or play golf at the great Vita Park course which is ten minutes away. There is plenty of space to park the hire car beside or behind the apartment.

The Bodrum Peninsula is described by the Sunday Times as the Mediterranean's hottest spot. Gulluk is a quiet village on its North Shore, just a few miles along the coast from Turkbuku and Yalikavak, where Turkey's rich and famous take their vacations. It is also within easy distance of Bodrum itself and the family attractions of Gumbet.

Apart from enjoying the sun, views, pool, gardens and peace, you will want to enjoy some of the excellent fresh fish and food served in Gulluk. You may also want to visit Bodrum to enjoy the exciting cosmopolitan flavours of this great resort town. You could also visit some of the historic sights such as Iassos. You could visit the beach clubs of Turkbuku and Yalikavak or make a day of the family entertainments in Gumbet.

Lovely sea views from balcony.very large living area,clean beds and towels.if you are over 50`s and looking for a quiet time without seeing many sights this apartment is ideal for you.apartment itself is lovely...families with young children,its a NO NO!!!! as there is not even a play ground nearby and not very safe arround the pool area that you can let your child a second out off your sight which we found very tiring you deffinatelly will need to hire a car..transportation is very poor,only option is taxi if you dont drive... had to wait at the airport to be picked up 3 hours and nobody turned up and had to take a taxi and find our own way to the property...next day same thing happened to another party appareantly the driver was fell asleep in his car (joke) wish the apartment had a bigger fridge not enough for parties more than two people... even though there is no rule of listening to music arround the pool area if you try you will get told off by a owner called Andre!!!! no showers by the pool which we thought needed on a busy period..Swimming pool seemed to very clean tho... no facilities...not many choices of restaurants and bars..there is one little shop within very short walking distance wasnt so bad at all.. KIRCIN is a seafood restaurant everyone said we should try but we never recommend... Eski Depo is also a seafood restaurant serves lovely food in an elite atmosphere...its just on the seaside in town centre we recomend Fuego as a beach,for an evening meal and a night club and entertainment...all stuff seemed like picked carefully..they were very polite and great food.. After all we been there,we done that and wont return back as seen every possible thing to be seen in that little town..

As we say on the website, Seaside Park is an ideal place for quiet and relaxing holidays. Our apartment has a toddler pool but there is a play area at Yasmin beach which is about ten minutes walk. I will address with our managing agent about the delay with your taxi transfer, because this is not acceptable. Normally they respond immediately when phoned with a problem. We agree that a rental car gives far more flexibility (and recommend one of the website), but many of our guests are very happy with the hourly "dolmus" minibus service which passes the apartment. The fridge is a standard "under counter" larder fridge. Finally, I am pleased that you enjoyed meals at Eski Depo and Fuego. We have not eaten yet at either of these. A great holiday which was very relaxing. The large pool is very quiet and the views from our balcony were amazing. The pool also is illuminated with underwater lights (cleaned daily by the staff). The (dolmus) bus passes outside the complex. Every time when we waited for a bus, local residents with personal car are stop and picked us to the city. Also... local residents are very friendly and helpful. Nearest beach was 10 minutes walk (we are use Yasmine complex beach..without any problem). Great staff (Mr.Yaman from Mavy reality)..very helpful and friendly. He explain everything what you need to know about the apartment, city, etc.... Edin/Sarajevo/Bosnia

Just returned from a lovely week in this apartment.The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with fantastic views of the bay and also the swimming pool area below. It is well equipped and we had a generous supply of bed linen and towels for our stay. There were 4 of us so we didnt need to use the sofa bed in the lounge area but the apartment would easily accommodate a party of 6. The apartment was actually bigger than we were expecting. We had family staying in the apartment next door so this is really great if family or friends want to holiday together but each with their own space.The swimming pool and grounds are very well looked after. We used the pool every day and the fact that it is a shared pool didnt detract in any way, there was always plenty of room and everyone was very friendly. The Air Con in the lounge area didnt work during our stay but attempts were made to get it fixed and this didnt spoil our holiday (The Air Con Units in the bedrooms worked perfectly by the way).The surrounding area is fairly quiet which suited us. We enjoyed meals out at the Med Inn as well as in Gulluk. We did have a hire car so never used the local bus to get about. Would we recommend this apartment? well we would have to really as we have just booked for 2 weeks next year.

Lovely apartment in a great location if you like peace and quiet, very well maintained pool and gardens. Beautiful views across the bay and of the sunsets. Would recommend.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and contained all the amenities that we needed for a great holiday. There are fabulous views from the balcony across the bay. Lovely swimming pool all set in a well maintained garden. Fresh milk and bread every day, from the small shop 50 yards from the apartment. Easy access into town with the local bus from the end of the drive for shopping and eating out.
