Villa Kubra is a stunning 5 bedroom villa in the charming town of Dalyan. The villa is newly built and no expense has been spared in creating a sumptuous holiday home. All five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the spacious lounge is equipped with TV. The large terrace on the ground floor has shaded seating areas for alfresco dining. All bedrooms on the upper floor have doors to a terrace. The pool is private and the garden has lawns and shrubs. Dalyan is a charming Turkish town nestled between mountains and sitting on the Dalyan river which runs between the large Koycegiz lake and the beach. The area is designated a protected area and has stunning scenery of mountains, lake and beach. The beach is a 5km sand spit where you can choose to swim in the sea or walk across the beach and swim in the lake at the other side. The beach has won several awards for its natural beauty, In 2008 it was proclaimed winner in the category Best Open Space (Europe) by The Times because of the eco-friendly exploitation of the beach. In 2011 Dalyan and İztuzu Beach were proclaimed Best Beach Destination of Europe by Dutch holiday assessment website Zoover. Along the river are the weathered façades of Lycian tombs cut from rock, circa 400 BC. The ruins of the ancient trading city of Kaunos are a short boat trip across the river. There are lots of things to do in the area ands highlights include taking a public boat bus from Dalyan harbour to the beach (approx 40 mins) and a visit to the local hot springs and mud baths. There are lots of restaurants and bars in Dalyan where you can enjoy freshly made Turkish food, sample the local Raki (an alcoholic drink) or drink tiny glasses of Turkish tea. If you love nature and beautiful scenery this delightful town and warm, hospitable people will charm you.

Villa kubra is a beautiful villa. It is very well situated within easy reach of all facilities, bars, restaurants and supermarket all close by. The villa itself is extremely well equipped and beautifully furnished. The pool area is lovely with separate little areas to sit, perfect for a larger family group.

We had a fantastic time in Dalyan, it is such a beautiful place with beautiful people!! The owner of the villa is so lovely and will do anything to help. I would definitely recommend this villa and would hope to return to Dalyan and Villa Kubra in the very near future.

Thanks so much to everyone who made our holiday so special!!

Ibrahim and Liz Metin met when Liz spent a short holiday in Dalyan in 1989. After may visits to Dalyan over more than 17 years we built Lale Evi in 2006. Whilst we now live in Scotland, Dalyan is a very special place for us as it is where Ibrahim was born and where the rest of his family live. We stay in Lale Evi as often as we can although our daughter is still at school so our visits are restricted to school holidays. We love Dalyan and have many wonderful friends who live there. We hope you will enjoy your stay too.
