Set amidst the mountainous backdrop of the pine forest regions of Turkey, yet only 10 minutes from the airport, Dalaman and the surrounding areas, give you an exciting blend of classical sights, sounds and fragrances guaranteed to give your senses a taste of Turkey.

Sunrise Villa is a great base if you want to explore this beautiful part of Turkey or if you are looking to escape and just relax then you have found your ideal spot.

Welcome to the start of your holiday.

Dalaman is an area of breathtaking natural beauty located between the sea and mountains, with fragrant orange groves, lovely unspoilt beaches and fascinating ancient sites. The ideal base to explore from or just relax in the rural setting.

Enjoy your evenings at some wonderful restaurants offering quality meals made from fresh organic products grown locally in Dalaman. Here are a few restaurants, recommended by our guests:

AKKAYA GARDEN RESTAURANT - one of the best restaurants in the Mediterranean Region. There are plenty of places to dine in the garden with secluded seating areas or in a storks nest. The nests are positioned in the trees and can sit 4-8 people. The restaurant is located deep in the valley amongst the pine trees. It is set amongst waterfalls, ponds, wildlife and beautiful trees and flowers. The food is second to none with an excellent selection of both Turkish and European cuisine.

CINAR RESTAURANT - enjoy a meal sitting under the trees. The service and food are wonderful, with Turkish and International cuisine. You even have your own BBQ next to your table.

Dalaman is rapidly becoming an area of destination rather than just a stop over on the way to some other resort town. Over - development and exploitation of the area is stopped by the protection afforded to the rare loggerhead turtles that frequent the river and beach. Ensuring Dalaman develops in harmony with its surrounding environment and retains its natural beauty.

SARIGERME BEACH : with 4 miles of golden sand, shallow sea and the island of Babada not too far in the distance, is a great day out for all the family. A short walk along the wooded footpath with its turkeys, chickens and peacocks running free, brings you out onto the exceptionally clean beach. Facilities include food and drink outlets, water sports, showers, toilets, beach chairs, umbrellas and dressing cabins are all available.

SARSALA BEACH : is a lovely family beach set in a small bay with a restaurant, changing rooms, shower and W.C. The beach is 6 miles from Dalaman. There are daily "12 island" boat trips available from the small pier.

IZTUZU BEACH : Visit one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean coastline. This sand bar that separates the sea from the mouth of the Dalyan Creek is an excellent swimming beach. Situated 30 minutes from Dalaman, Iztuzu Beach has also been preserved, as it is one of the last nesting grounds for the endangered Loggerhead Turtles.

THERME MARIS SPA : you can buy a day pass to use some great facilities including massage, fitness centre, beauty centre (skin care centre, aromatic bathtub, solarium, peeling, hamam, sauna, pressotherapy, starvac, thermo failure), 3 different outdoor pools with thermal natural water, indoor pool, jacuzzi and mud bath. You can see and feed the endangered Loggerhead Turtles. Located immediately behind Dalaman Beach.

GOCEK : Often referred to as the St.Tropez of Turkey, with its exclusive yachting marina and unspoilt beaches, Gocek has emerged as one of the countries most affluent areas to live in Turkey. Take the 12 Island Boat Excursion great day out for all the family. The market takes place on a Sunday, ideal place to buy leather goods, local crafts don't forget to haggle!

DALYAN : Only 25 minutes drive to the west from the Villa, you will find Dalyan, a small but exquisite fishing town, which lies next to a meandering river, teaming with wild life. After spending your time browsing the typically diverse Turkish market stalls, why not relax and take a look at the Lycian tombs, carved into the rock face, from the comfort of one of the many romantically set restaurants lining the Dalyan riverside. It only takes you a few minutes from the centre of town to stroll through to the Old Dalyan of gardens and willow trees, to flavour days gone by.

KAYA KOY : Once a thriving Greek village, this town of over one thousand houses, two churches, fourteen chapels, and two schools, was completely deserted in 1923 when the 25,000 Greek inhabitants living there, along with more than a million other Greeks living throughout Turkey were repatriated to Greece through a massive government mandated population exchange between the two countries following the Greek war of independence. Since then, the village of Kayakoy, as it is called in Turkish, or Karmylassos, as it was called in Greek, which had been continually inhabited since at least the 13th century, has stood empty and crumbling, with only the breeze from the mountains and mist from the sea blowing through its empty houses and streets. A wonderful place steeped in history that touches you to the very soul.

KAUNOS : Visit the ancient ruins of Kaunos, situated approximately 40 minutes from the villa. Amongst the ruins of the city, you will find an old theatre, a large rectangular building that was probably a temple, others of uncertain description, a Byzantine church, and very curious rock-hewn tombs.

SULTANIYE HOT SPRINGS & MUD BATHS : Situated just before Dalyan Creek joins the lake, you can give yourself a body pack of mud and then wash it all off again in a sulphur pool with temperatures as hot as in the Sultaniye Baths.

WHITE-WATER RAFTING : in Dalaman is one of the most exciting holiday experiences and is perfect for active thrill seekers. The Dalaman River is rated as one of the top rafting destinations in the world. Professionals will guide you every step of the way for an unforgettable adventure on the Dalaman waters.

SAKLIKENT GORGE : the ideal place to visit if you are feeling especially hot. The gorge is 18km long and so steep and narrow that the sun does not penetrate, so the water is icy cold. The gorge is approached along a wooden boardwalk above the river and opens out to a series of wooden platforms suspended above the water, where you can buy and eat trout at one of the specialist restaurants.

The villa was fantastic everything we could of wished for, privacy, great setting, being in a small community with the locals was great and Hakan our neighbour made us very welcome, also did Mehmet, they made our visit flow very easily. It was easy booking the villa and all communication was fantastic. The villa was better than expected although it was a bit further away from the town than expected. I would say that if you want to go out and about independently you definitely need a car. Could not fault the villa. Nicola

This was our second visit to Dalaman and we all had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Last year we stayed at the another villa but as its so popular we couldnt get in this year and we did feel that other villa is a nicer villa, sorry. But all in all we had a lovely time and customer service is excellent.
What a fantastic villa, we had a great two weeks at Sunrise Villa last October and have already booked for May 2013. The location is perfect, semi-rural but within easy reach of some great beaches and small towns such as Gocek and Dalyan. The villa has everything you need and the villa manager can arrange everything for you. 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday.
Our first time in Turkey and what a fantastic holiday weve all had. Thank you Madeleine & Dennis your villa has been perfect for us. Thank you to Mehmet for being so helpful helping us to explore and getting around.
Thanks to Mehmet for a brilliant week. Hakan who lives opposite is really nice, especially with the kids he bought us a watermelon and ice creams for the kids. Thank you Rod, Angie, Lauren, Ruby, Gav, Maz, Mike and Jay.
Had a great time at Sunrise Villa. Mehmet was great for arranging all transport to where ever you want to go. Very prompt always on time. Villa had everything we needed very well equipped. Pool was cleaned regularly. The market in Dalaman great for local fruit and veg. Akkaya Garden Restaurant is a must. Book the day before to reserve a high top nest table, great fun. Enjoy your stay.
We had a wonderful time at Sunrise Villa. The service has been second to none and we felt secure in the knowledge that help/advice was on hand should we need it! Thank you
We had a nice time and was very relaxing which is what we needed. Many thanks James & Louise
We have just come back from the Villa and all I can say is how fantastic it was, the place, the people, the location, everything ticked all the right boxes. We shall certainly be returning and thats something we never do, we never go back to the same location twice only because the world is too big and not to go to new places is a shame but here we will make the exception to the rule.
We had to cut our holiday short back in July due to ill health, but we have just come back from a lovely 6 days of at Sunrise Villa, total peace and quite and relaxation which is what the doctor ordered. The villa was perfect. Certainly recommend hiring a car to get out and about there are some great places to visit, Gocek was lovely and the 12 island boat trip is well worth it. We also went to the health spa and mud baths in Dalaman, totally mad and you must take the camera. We would certainly recommend Sunrise Villa.

We didn’t know what to expect having only seen photo’s of the villa but found it lovely to stay in. All the rooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. Outside the pool was lovely and clean and the surrounding area was well kept with plenty seating for us to sunbath and read. The shops and amenities were not within walking distance so a car was essential. Though driving in the area needs to be planned and thought through as Turkish drivers don’t always follow the rules and the roads are a little rural. That said we had a lovely time in Turkey with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and would go there again. The weather was nice and warm, the food was excellent and the people are very friendly. Can recommend the boat trips from Gocek and Dalyan. Thank you Gary & Greta
Just a short note to tell you what an amazing holiday we had, it was better than our hopes and we were just so happy with the villa. You have a lovely home. We really enjoyed every aspect of turkey and will be really keen to return. Just sad to be home! Thanks again.
My Partner and myself have just returned from Sunrise Villa, this really lived up to our expectations which are High, Excellent customer service and a 5 star Villa, clean and very well presented and very good value. We booked this villa as we are very keen runners and were able to run straight from villa through some fantastic Natural scenery, we hired a car to go out and about and we also made use of the free pick ups for restaurants, would most definitely recommend it to anyone and sports enthusiast such as ourselves. Thank you Neil
Cant fault the villa and local support, great attractions and area. Free pick ups from restaurants brilliant and Akkaya Gardens - fantastic. Had a wonderful holiday, would recommend to all families and couples.
We experienced a wonderful time at this lovely Villa, our son, wife and children stayed upstairs and we took the downstairs bedroom which was great as it gave us all some privacy especially with the balconies, and en-suite to each room, we loved the views, the pool and the well equipped new interior of the Villa that is was hard to leave it, many a day was spent eating, chatting, under the pergola which was lovely, we would recommend Sunrise Villa. Thanks for a great time.
We had a wonderful time, we found it well equipped, and very much like home from home and spotlessly clean, the cost was of great value as we got a discount for a early booking, we loved the bedrooms and balconies, and the outside seating which we used all the time for breakfast and evening meals, we did also try local restaurants and loved the Akkaya Birds nest in the mountains, we stayed a week but wish it was a month. Thank you Linda & Tony.
Me and my partner both in our middle 20s stayed at Sunrise Villa in July 2010 for 2 weeks. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Turkey and get a taste of the local culture. The villa is very well situated away from any noise and is also in a good driving range to all the attractions. The villa is spacious and modern and the pool/outside area is very relaxing. Great for anyone of any ages and would be perfect for a family. Also what is great about the Villa is that it has everything you could need from films to games and even the local restaurants will come and pick you up so you can go out for a few glasses of wine!
