Villa overview - owner's description

Ideal for families. Air-con throughout. Private pool. Large garden, sun terrace and BBQ. Close to Blue flag beaches and other attractions.

New for 2015/16 season:

Free WiFi
International IPTV system

Yazlik Villa has 4 double bedrooms each with air conditioning units and is fully furnished throughout. It sleeps up to eight people comfortably and has the benefit of its own private swimming pool. Set in spacious garden which include extensive gardens, fruit trees, patio and traditional Turkish stone built BBQ.

Only a ten minute journey from Dalaman airport and situated to the North of Dalaman town overlooking peaceful countryside and mountain views, yet less than 20 minutes from the blue flag beach at Sarigerme and 5 minutes from Dalaman town with its shops, bars and restaurants.

The semi-detached villa is situated on a small complex of eight other properties and would suit families looking for a quiet base for their Turkish holiday but close enough to facilities to suit all ages.

Rest and Relaxation
A million miles away from the all-inclusive tourist trap resorts with their "British theme pubs" and everything associated with the high octane traditional package holiday, in fact, if that is your ideal holiday, we would respectfully suggest that you may find the villa a little bit too quiet for your taste.

A HIRE CAR IS RECOMMENDED TO GET THE FULL BENEFIT FROM YOUR HOLIDAY IN OUR VILLA, though taxis are readily available and local restaurants will pick you up and return you home free of charge.

Dalaman
The town has much to offer with an abundance of shops, restaurants serving delicious traditional dishes, small bars, tea gardens and the stunning beach at Sarigerme only 15 minutes drive from the town, there is plenty to do and see.

Dalaman's location could not be better, with many resort towns only minutes drive away, the sophisticated marina town of Gocek is only 20 mins drive, this is soon to be reduced as a new tunnel adjoining the towns is underway, Dalyan only 20 mins drive and the popular resorts towns of Marmaris and Fethiye just over an hours drive.
There is plenty of transport available, with taxis and a new bus station offering buses and dolmus to each area regularly. Facilities are good with doctors and hospital available.

Thank you Gary for letting us stay in your lovely Villa, we had such a brilliant time and can't wait to go back. The Internet is amazing and having English t.v. for when the kids need to get out of the sun was very handy.

You will need a car, the area in Dalaman is lovely and there are beautiful beaches very near. Mehmet was very helpful as usual as was Trevor.

Many thanks for your kind review!! Really glad you enjoyed your holiday!!

Family from Rochdale, United Kingdom Aug 2015

We loved this villa! It is situated close to dalaman town centre so it was easy to find places to eat and shop. The interior was very nice, clean, spacious and had a nice homely feel to it. We had no problem with any of the facilities and thoroughly enjoyed using the pool and we spent most of the day in it. The villa manager Mehmet was also extremely friendly and helpful.

Thanks for your kind review. Hopefully see you back another time!!

Family from Blackburn, United Kingdom Aug 2014

A very large property that would be suitable for large families. We were a family of 7, with teenagers and a young toddler and found we only used three of the four bedrooms. The property itself is situated about 10/15 minutes from Dalaman airport and about 5 minutes drive from the main centre of Dalaman. The location of the village is very quiet, even though it is right next door to a holiday/apartment complex. The complex didnt seem too busy and there was minimal noise from it.....we didnt realise it was there until we took a walk around the area in the evening. Because of the location, a car is must. I would recommend this is arranged through Gary and Mehmet. Worked out better for us as the car was delivered to our door within half an hour of us requesting it and we didnt have to hang around at the airport. Car was collected from the villa as well which was very good.

Before our departure we were in touch with the UK based owner, Gary, who was very helpful and even arranged our transfers and car hire, through his local manager/contact, Mehmet. We were met at the airport and taken to the villa, where we found that they had provided us with a nice welcome pack of essential food such as bread, juice, milk etc. A nice touch, seeing as we arrived at 2am!

Mehmet, the manager, came round the following day and made sure we had settled in well and gave us some tips on what to see and due during our stay. We had already asked for him to arrange a car for us but we decided we wanted it a day earlier than planned......no problem, a quick call from Mehmet and the hire company had an eight seater minivan delivered to the villa within half an hour!!

The villa was clean and well looked after. The pool area is fantastic and has a slope, making it suitable for non swimmers to take a dip. The pool area has recently been re-tiled and looks really good. Sun loungers and parasol was available to use and we spent many hours at the poolside, especially in the late evenings. As already stated, its a quiet area and very private so there is a fair amout of privacy. The villa is right under the flight path of Dalaman airport but it isnt really noticable, I quite enjoyed watching the aircraft from the pool.

As long as you have access to a car, the areas around Dalaman and further afield are easily accessed via the good road network. We made day trips out to Marmaris, Fetiye and other areas all around the area.

There are plenty of local supermarkets in Dalaman to do your food shopping, we would recommend the tesco type supermarket, only 5 minutes drive from the villa. There was a helpful guide in the villa, written by the owners, giving tips and maps about where to go shopping etc.

There is wi-fi available at the villa, via a dongle system which cost us 15 lira to top up. This lasts a week and is fast enough for general browsing and normal apps. The only downside was lack of a phone, although Gary has since told us there is a mobile phone available there for our use. Overall we had a fantastic time and plan to go and stay at the same villa next year.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa. I have even passed on details to my work colleagues as they were impressed by my holiday photos.

great lovely villa only thing i recommend is to hire a car if you are looking to sight see but watch out for the police they seem to spot tourists

From Cinderford, United Kingdom Sep 2010

I highly recommend this villa,if you want peace and quiet a well equipped villa right down to needle and cotton.
I decided to treat my family to a holiday in Turkey 9 of our family me the mum 63 my husband 68 daughter 37 her partner and my grandaughter aged 2 years 3 month, plus a son of 32 his partner and my grandson of 3yrs 3 months and baby of 7 months.this villa is clean and well cared for we did not hire a car for the first week,we walked to the local supermarket only did it once too far the Turkish must have thought us mad walking in the 80 degrees.
Thats when Mehmet came to our rescue he took the 3 women to the supermarket, waited for us and took us back,it only cost 20 lira, about £8 odd,The men decided to do a bbq a disaster the burgers black and the sausage burnt they said no light but found them the next day,we met Layla we fed her she lives under the bin in the road we kept her fed and watered the children looked forward to seeing her when coming back home to the villa.we all wanted to bring her back home.
We decided to go to the market in Dalaman, and got to know the sellers having many a laugh with the haggling,i told most of them i hope you sleep at night for trying to pull the wool over our eyes(ha ha)Trevor one of Mehmets drivers is so nice he took us to the market waited after the market we had a meal and he took us back to the villa, but stopping at the supermarket on the way back Trevor packed our bags with us and showed us where to get the coal for yes another try at the bbq.that was sucessful, that trip cost 40 lira.
The men decided to go into Dalaman to watch the England football game,Trevor came took them to a bar and arranged to pick them back up the men could not find anywhere to watch the England match but saw it on a television shop window they decided to watch it from the roadside, along came 2 lads from Birmingham and they watched it too.at half time the owner of the shop came and switched the tvs off in the window the men were not amused they went to a bar to drown there sorrows.
We all decided we were paying too much in taxi and Mehmet and Mehmet got us a mini bus for 6 days £210,IT IS A MUST FOR A CAR.
We went to Gocek and met the sellers from the market one told his wife he was coming back to England with me to live, his wife was over the moon, another seller seeing me told my husband she is a very funny lady he gave me a free gift.
Dalyan is a must we went 3 times we did the turtle island run, where african queen was filmed with Kathrine Hepburn and Humphrey Boggart,i went on to e-bay and bought 3 copies of african queen for the family. We had an English breakfast, that you can not get in Mugla worth the trip for that, and we finished our last day with the mini bus at Marmaris if you think Dalaman market is bad for being hassled go to Marmaris you get hassled in the indoor market.
I would highly recommend this villa AND I WILL BE BACK Gary and all involved made this holiday such a joy from when you get off the plane to return back to the airport, and we had an 8 hour delay with monach airline. Thank you.the Nelson Familyxxxxxxxxx

This semi detached Villa is situated in a great central place for a holiday, with the flexibility to achieve chill out time with its own private pool and a chance to explore Turkey. If you hire a car the possibilities are endless, treat the driving like an adventure! The Villa is near the airport so you have some noise from that, but that is no different to the mosque calling for prayer every five hours, on the upside you are only a quick drive away. The villa is well equipped and maintained, its in a safe location for children. The owners look after you from the moment you book till you arrive, then you are placed in the very capable hands of Memhet the Villa management, no matter what time of day we called he was there to help us, and would organise tours and events as well if you are not brave enough or do not choose to drive. We will need to return again so we can do some of the things that we did not get to do on this visit. If you want accommodation where you have no worries, this is the one.. I think a £400 for the week with 8 people that is £50 each you cannot beat it for value to visit one of the most hospitable countries I have ever been to.

" We had such a fantastic holiday, we are a family of 4 with a child who has severe learning problems we were looking for a holiday where we could be on our own to chill out and relax without the hustle and bustle and the explainations which go with having a child who has very little language and hits out at people. This villa was perfect it is spacious and very clean we had to make sure all doors downstairs were shut as the marble stairs were a little daunting. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and cook meals also the barbecue was great. The bedding was very clean and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space in all the rooms. The pool was great expecially the shallow end for the children and me at only 5 feet who likes to feel the bottom!! The area surrounding the villa is so peaceful and everyone we met is so friendly. My husband took out his mountain bike and loved going up in to the mountains he was most impressed. We can't thank the management company enough who looked after us and made our stay as stress free as possible and we are now looking forward to returning next year."K. "We've stayed three times at the villa, May 07 Christmas 2007, July 2009. We've enjoyed our stays so much we hope to book for July 2010.The villa had a lovely spacious sitting room. Kitchen had everything you needed to make your own meals if you didn't want to go out to eat. Also enjoyed the BBQ in garden. We found bedrooms had plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Everywhere was spotless. Really enjoyed the pool, just relaxing by and getting in to cool off whenever we wanted.Plenty of places to eat nearby although it took us about 20 minutes to walk into town, Gary had all the contacts we needed if we wanted transport anywhere.Lovely Villa! lovely location! met some lovely people! Lovely villa in a nice peaceful area. Lots of friendly people, nice places to eat and most will pick you up and dro p you back. If you hire a car there are lots of nice places to visit in the area. Overall a very relaxing holiday and we look forward to going again.

The Villa has all mod cons, is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has all that is required to cook meals for a family of eight although with all the cheap cafes and restaurants in Dalaman we preferred to eat out most of the time. There are some very nice places to visit,Gocek, being our favourite. The twelve island boat trip is must! We would recommend this Villa holiday to anyone, and really look forward to going again.

Weve stayed twice at the villa, May 07 and Christmas 2007. Weve enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for July 2009. The villa had a lovely spacious sitting room. Hi Gary I would just like to say that we all enjoyed our stay at your villa, also I would like to say thank you for the service we got, we all enjoyed the whole holiday. There was something there for everyone. So thank you once again. From Gwen Moore & partyAug 2007(copy of e-mail sent via Villarenters portal)

if you want a real chill out then l would suggest this villa which has all you need to enjoy peace & privacy the local beach which is Sarigerme was lovely not to crowded you could also get a nice lunch there also turtle beach which again not over crowded but lovely the down side is you must have a car, even going into town is just beyond walking distance it would be to hot anyway, once the roads are finished it would be fun to hire a bike, you could then pop in to town with your food order & have it delivered if going for 2 wks l would hire a car for about 4 days & go to the beaches & go sightseeing & then just relax in the Villa l would love to go again in the near future

Mr Mills e-mailed us as below:Spent last week of July at villa.Quiet and relaxing really enjoyed stay.Better than spain.Cheap to eat out.J. Mills

We stayed at Yaslik Villa in early July. We found the villa to be extremely comfortable with plenty of space, (there were six of us). The top fllor master bedroom was absolutly massive, you could probrably have put another couple of beds there and the amount of wardrobe space was also a refreshing change from the single cuboard you normally get at hotels. What we really found useful was the three bathrooms, this meant no queues for the shower!!The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed although evenings we didn't go out we tended to use the BBQ. It seemed a shame to be cooking indoors. The kids loved the pool, it was especially good for my youngest as one end was quite shallow. The grass was suprisingly green for such a hot country and when the trees have grown a bit more it will be nice to sample some of the fruit. The slight downside was the fact that we did need to hire a car for the week that we were there, you could walk into town if you wanted, (we never, it was too hot), or get a taxi. We went into Gocek one night for food (about 10-15 mins away) and iot was really nice. We spoke to some other people who had done the 12 island boat trip and we wished we'd done it.All in all we had a really good week. It's quiet but if thats your thing, you should have a good time. We're hoping
