The Patio, Gardens and Pool.
The Patio is the main feature that attracted us to this villa. This large spacious patio is equipped with a built in barbeque and large wicker style table and chairs. A perfect place for family and friends to enjoy the long warm Turkish evenings.
The private gardens with lemon, tangerine and grapefruit trees also have plenty of lawned open space for the younger members of your party to enjoy themselves safely and there is a private pool to cool you all down.
6 sun loungers with plush cushions are available for the sun worshipers. There is also a large umbrella if you should need some respite from the sun. Internet access is also available for our guests.
We stayed at Sunset Villa for the first two weeks in July and we had a fantastic time. It is located in a quiet part of the town but only a short walk from the main road with shops, restaurants and the dolmus all easily accessible and the beach is only 20 minutes or so away.
The villa is very well equipped and the pool and patio area were well used by all of us. The 5 adults in our group had plenty of space to spread out and we were never on top of one another.
The weekly market is easy to get to and although not as big as the one in Fethiye, it still has loads of stalls to browse and haggle with!
The owners very kindly arranged our transfers to and from the airport for us and everything went perfectly. John was a very helpful contact with advice about the villa, the town, trips and anything else you needed to know!
We did a boat trip around the bays in Fethiye and it was great fun. We booked it through Seaside on the promenade and for under £15.00 per person, it was money very well spent.
We all had a fantastic time and were very sorry to leave when our holiday ended.

It was lovely accomodation in a residential area but within easy access of the dolmus.
The only negative point was that on a late arrival we were unable to find our bearings and had to order a takeaway.
A drawn map of the area would have been useful.

This was our 3rd year renting in Turkey. The villa was very nice with a good pool, no problem accommodating 6 of us, and the large shaded terrace is a real plus point. The only point was that one of the 4 bedrooms does not have aircon, but the villa stayed surprisingly cool and with a fan this wasnt a big problem. Its in a nice quiet location about 15 - 20 mins walk into Calis centre & beach, but just a few minutes walk from the very frequent dolmus service into Calis or Fethiye. The dolmus will also go to the very good windsurfing centre which is otherwise a long walk away. We were looked after very well & couldnt have asked for more. We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.
From the beginning of the process right through to the end everything was perfect. Communications with the owners were prompt and reliable. John was a perfect contact point in Calis and nothing was too much trouble - ranging from reparing a limescale encrusted connection on the shower to the provision of food stuffs for our late arrival.
The villa is perfect for a large group with plenty of space for sun worshippers and shade seekers alike. The kitchen has everything that you need with some welcome extras like the juicer and the cold water dispenser.
The pool is also great - essential for those hot summer days to cool off and receive some respite from the Turkish sun. The end of July weather ranged from 33 degrees to 44 degrees.
A decent 20 minutes walk into Calis Beach area with its promenades of gift shops - all alike in what they offer so haggle over the displayed prices. Tours can be booked at a number of outlets though we found Cancadian Tours the most reasonable for price and extremely reliable and helpful. If you get the chance do go to Dalyan Mud Baths. All very reasonable priced. For £17 you can have a whole day out - transfers included - visiting a gold centre, Dalyan Mud Baths and the Turtle Beach. The roads in Turkey still leave much to be desired but they are making significant improvements.
As for restaurants - we found that the more local places were better value for money rather than the ones along the sea front. Cheap, nutricious and service excellent. You may get a bit fed up with Efes beer after a while!
All in all a fantastic holiday. Would love to return.

Hi Nigel & Michelle,
Just wanted to let you know we had a great holiday! Sad to be back to the real world. The villa suited our needs perfectly. Very well placed for beach and all other activities. No need for a car due to John being such a great source of information and help all round. It made a huge difference!
First time in Turkey but will certainly be back!
Perfect, the best of both worlds. The villa is in a quiet location for chilling around the pool and garden but only a short walk to the lively front where there is a good selec tion of bars and restraunts. The villa is superb for spending the very hot days relaxing under the very large patio area and taking a refreshing dip in the well maintained pool, the kids loved it.The Davies family Leigh, Lancs
