A fantastic stay at Villa Dundar. We loved the apartment and its garden, making full use of the balcony. The views are as spectacular as the photos suggest. The beach is a few minutes' walk down the hill and is one of the most beautiful in Kaş. There is an hourly dolmuş service into and out of town, although you can walk in 30 minutes. A taxi home costs only around TL20. You have to share the grounds with other guests and the host's family.

Had a wonderful time at Sunset. Appartment block is right on sea front so easy access to Calis Beach and the numerous facilities. The appartments was exactly as shown in photography. As you enter the property there is a large dining living area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a large balcony with side sea views, also a bedroom with a pull out double bed and shower room. Down stairs are the master bedroom with ensuite facilities, including a bath and a very large second bedroom with 2 single beds. I also noticed a travel cot and high chair under the staircase. There is also a door leading out to the garden area and some further patio furniture was also under the staircase so you could sit in this area. My friend mentioned to Julian, the manager that a toaster would be handy and "Hey Presto" a nice new shiny toaster appeared. There is a large swimming pool at the back of the apartment block which you have to go up some steps to get to, due to one of our party having leg problems we used the pool next door at Letoon hotel. They are quite happy to let you use their facilities and will bring your drinks to poolside for you. Oppisit the sunset is Aroma Beach Bar which we tended to go to for a drink before we got ready to go out. It's a lovely place and the staff were really friendly. They hold weddings there and we were Lucky enough to witness a few. The Turkish night at Aroma is a must, it was about £8 and you get an amazing barbecue spread, salads ,bread chips, dips and Chicken and meatballs (Turkish meatballs are like small burgers). But the best bit was the entertainment, the acts were amazing. Well worth the money. If come out of the appartments, up to the beach and turn left you will come to Oben family run restaurant, where you can see the whole family in the kitchen cooking. The food was lovely and the staff very attentive. If you carry on to the end of the road there is a lamppost to the left with a button marked taxi, just push it and wait a few mins and a taxi will arrive. Also if you turn left there are some supermarkets with everything you need. In the middle of town, by the bridge there are water taxis which will take you over to Fethyia, it was a couple of quid and you get a nice journey over to the main town. The fish market is a must as you get a seat at any of the restaurants and then go and chose your fish, then the restaurant cooks it for you. We also went to Oludeniz a couple of times and loved sitting at a bar and watching the Paragliders landing along the beach. The Oyster Bar was lovely, I had an amazing prawn cocktail and it reminded me of Ibiza in the 1980's. If you fancy egg and bacon head to Lees 70's 80's and 90's bar along the promanade, the black pudding was amazing, or stop anywhere for a Turkish breakfast, eggs, olives fruit and breads. I brought my usual 3 tons of toiletries with me and found it was the same price in the supermarket!!! Soap powder and dishwasher tablets were cheaper in Turkey, nappies the same as home so don't bother carrying it all with you. The first day there we went to the Sultan Hammaman, I emailed them beforehand and they picked us up for free (a lot of places seem to do that if you ask) I had every treatment, scrub, facemask, an hour oil massage for £45 but there are much cheaper packages and it takes the layers of dead skin off ready for a tan, amazing experience. Turkey is very cheap for eating out, also I had my roots tinted and a blow dry for £10 and the most amazing haircut and blow dry for abou £12. Julian was always at the end of the phone if there were any problems, we also took the welcome pack as we were coming in late at night which included satchels of tea and coffee, eggs, bread, butter, toilet roll, tomatoes, Turkish cheese ( like feta) milk crisps buscuits fruit juice and soft drinks. There are so many lovely things to do that I could easily have stayed for another month.

Couple from Dundee, United Kingdom April 2018

Had a great holiday, the apartment is slightly tired looking, the wifi is poor and has been for the last three years. The bar next door was very noisy last year but not so bad this year.As we ate in a fair bit a microwave would not have gone amiss. But all in all it is a decent place to stay. Would like to return next year because of location and the very helpful apartment manager Julian. It is quite reassuring to know he is only a phone call away if anything goes wrong. He really is a nice man.

What a beautiful apartment in an excellent location, thank you very much Julia for sharing your lovely home with us. We have just (Rather sadly) returned from 2 weeks in sunny Turkey 31/03/18 - 13/04/18 2 adults and 2 children, 17 & 12. We booked the transfer from the airport to the apartment (About 1 hour) through Julia, this was for a very reasonable price and went like clockwork. The apartment really is stunning, the photos don't do it justice. Side is surrounded by snow topped mountains, at least this time of year, the temperature was 21 - 26 during the day and still quite reasonable in the evenings, I found a light fleece fine for walking around in. The apartment itself was a bit chilly in the evenings, I assume you could use the air-con to get some heat? to be honest I really don't like air-con so was happy not to use it, again if you come this time of year a thick jumper and slippers are a good idea. You are about 8 minutes away from the sea, it is down a steepish path but certainly manageable for most people. You have a nice beach with plenty of sand, again you have lovely views of the mountains. A word of warning! toilets are at a premium so be prepared to visit lots of bars if you have a dodgy bladder like me :-). The apartment is in a quiet area but only a 5 - 10 walk away from lots of shops, bars and restaurants, you are also surrounded by lots of little convenience shops. I found the apartment to be well equipped, loads of towels, and they had thought of the little things, all of the sinks had soap/hand-wash left, there was washing up liquid and some soap powder, salt and pepper and odds and ends to cook with, as I say little things but greatly appreciated. You had a decent selection of plates, dishes, glasses, mugs etc and plenty of cutlery, my only small gripe was these weren't particularly clean, but once I had blitzed everything though the decent dishwasher all was fine. The upstairs shower is excellent and powerful enough to strip paint, the whirlpool bath is also fun. I found the main mattress a bit hard by the middle of the 2nd week, my son also found the single bed a bit uncomfortable, possibly invest in some mattress toppers? these can make a real difference. All in all a fantastic holiday, personally I would be more than happy to book again for next year.
