5 minutes from the beach,plenty of local shops ,grosseries around however its very calm and safe area
The appt is well well refurbished,situated in a lively residential area just 2 minutes walk from the main road which leads into Sousse town Centre or Port el Kantaoui. The people are very welcoming and friendly. You can ride on the Noddy train in either direction or on a Tuc Tuc. Horse drawn carriges are also available. If you enjoy walking it will take approximately 30minutes to reach port el Kantaoui, however you will need a form of transport to reach Sousse town centre.
Around the area
There are local small supermarkets near bye, but if you prefer shopping in big supermarket you can find one on the main road just opposite the hotel which is about 10/15walking distance from the appt. There is plenty of cake shops, cafes and restaurants close by. A large meal can cost as little as £5.00 when eating out.
If you looking for a nights out, there is few good nights clubs just about 20 min walks from the appt. however,Port el Kantaoui remains the best attractive area in Sousse which is not far away from the appt. if you enjoy scuba diving, sailing, fishing, port el Kantaoui is your best destination. The golf courses is the best in the country which are about 10 min from the appt.

Just as we remembered it. So well placed, Dreams Beach not far and Habib on beach overseas sunbeds and parasols (9 tnd for parasol and 2 beds). Try eating at Nessma Restaurant just past Sindibad Aparthotel - you get a heck of a lot for your money there. There is also a small shop nearby, the guy there speaks a little English, but French is second language here and I got by. Have already recommended this little gem to two ladies at airport on my departure !! as I write, it is 43 days until we return -can't wait !!!!
This apartment is well worth the money i have stayed there 5 times never had any trouble very quiet area and the owner is very helpful i will return in august.
Clean and comfortable, Ideal pied-a-terre from which to explore Tunisia. Situated between busy Sousse and its bustling atmosphere and relaxed Port El Kantaoui with its many quayside cafes and coffee houses. Hannibal Park in Kantaoui is ideal if you want a fairground experience, there is an Irish bar in Kantaoui (called Pukka) and another (O'Neills) on the road to Dreams beach. Although the apartment has no WiFi (which is bliss), should you need to touch base with the real world there are many 'net cafes' around (including one on same road as O'Neills) the access code to wifi is on the receipt of your order. Eating out in the local 'cafe' was good value for money, a huge basket of bread accompanies your meal, and unless you have ordered pizza, you will also get a small bowl of a traditional soup as well as olives and pickles. You will learn more about Tunisia and its people by hiring an apartment and getting out and about. Within 2 hours of returning home, I booked another stay. My fiancé and I stayed here for 7 days and we enjoyed our time. The area is pretty nice but there is a lot of construction and garbage around the apartment. We really liked the apartment and no one bothered us. The area is away from the tourist attractions so it suited us pretty well. We communicated frequently with the owner and the manager and were grateful for their flexibility. I would stay here again. :)
I been back to the property 4 times now I would recommend it to friends and family a lot cleaner this time :)
