Just 5 minutes drive from the property you will find the nearest beach Khao Kalok. Set on the beach road and overlooking the beach itself you will find numerous bars/restaurants. Pick the one that takes your fancy and relax for a few hours getting cooled by the sea breezes over some delicious food and drinks. Want a little more excitement!
If its a lively night out you want then head to the town of Hua Hin approx 30 minutes from the property. Here you will find bars, restaurants, discos and cinema. There is a huge shopping mall Market Village and various night markets selling Thai handicrafts, clothes and food. There is also a long sandy white beach although this can get busy.
We stayed in the villa during February/March 2016. It was everything we wished for and even better than the photos. The villa was exceptionally clean and tidy and really well equipped. The pool and villa were so clean and was maintained well during our stay. Great wifi and a good range of TV channels.
Brad and Sonia were really helpful both before our arrival and afterwards, particularly in hiring us a car and we knew that if we did have a problem, they would have sorted it out straight away.
The area is fabulous (albeit quiet). Won's bar is about 200 metres away and sold food, drink plus a small shop. I thought it was a great community centre - residents and tourists all met up during the evening. Won's food is great - and so cheap. Well worth a visit. The quietness is what drew us to the area - we wanted somewhere we could dip in and out of if we wanted. Hua Hin is about 30 minutes away and Won's husband can provide a taxi service there and back should you want something more lively.
We absolutely loved our time there - we're going back for Christmas 2016 we enjoyed it so much!
The villa was as described. It was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. The pool is a good size and the garden is completely private, surrounded by a high wall, there were people in the neighbouring villas but the complex was quiet. Brad and Sonia also live on the complex and could not have been more helpful, they were accessible for advice on the locality and so on.
I regret not taking up the offer of a driver to and from the airport and renting a car locally. The Bangkok end of the drive to and from the airport was interesting. Whilst I drive a lot both in UK and abroad on this occasion I really struggled with poor signs and a confused satnav. A car is essential for the villa it is not far from town /beach /bars etc, but too far to walk, driving locally was no problem.
No criticism of the villa but an observation. We were there in late Oct whilst the weather was fine, the season had not really started, so a lot of local bars and cafes were not yet open and the area was very quiet. I imagine a week or so later and it would be more lively.
Not much to add other than we will be back for our 6th visit in a few weeks. The last time we stayed here was May this year, the villa has a new owner but remains as good as ever. The new seat outside is an improvement and was used more than the old one. Brad and Sonia were helpful as always and go out of their way to ensure everything runs smoothly. Cant wait to return!
had a really lovely family holiday here in april 2014 this place is so peaceful and quite and the village is lovely as are the thai people in the village pool was great and the villa has everything you need thankyou to brad and Sonia for agreat holiday see you soon diane and joe

Just returned from a 16 day holiday at this villa ,it was superb has everything you need for a great holiday . We had stayed at the Evason spa hotel on previous holidays in the hua hin area but decided to try a private pool villa this time .we found our own flights online and found the villa on this website ,booking was simple , and we where kept informed by email about all the details . Brad and Sonia who look after property arranged our airport pick ups and a hire car for our stay. They are a great team , making sure everything was spot on .To get around I think you really need a car , taxis are cheap but your own car gives you scope to come and go as you please. We visited dolphin bay , great beach , the national park ,night market in hua hin , driving is safe if you take time and keep your eye out for dogs on the road . There are some great places to eat out we found (very good bar ) along the sea front great food and good value .the villa is perfect it has everything you need , superb pool well maintaind by Brad ,kitchen has all the mod cons , nice refreshing shower rooms , and large comfy Suite for chilling out watching a movie on some of those rainy days. In the evening you must try a drink at the local shop/ bar two minutes from villa owned by a lovely lass called WON ,it is a place to meet others on holiday and the locals all very freindly.Don,t hesitate to book this villa you won,t be disappointed and Brad and Sonia will make sure you have a great time. Firstly, I apologise very much for the late entry of this review, but unfortunately for reasons beyond my control I have only just found time to get around to adding it. We booked this property based on purely the advert on Villa Renters, and wow were we amazed when we arrived in February and found the property to far surpass what we had expected. The pool is amazing and its so nice to have the privacy that the pool and garden provide. The internet was very good and the decor and cleanliness of the property was excellent. The property has cable TV and a washing machine, we we made frequent use of.We hired a car for the duration of our stay which we picked up at the airport on arrival and dro pped off on departure and we had no problems driving, but you do need to be particularly observant of motor cyclists and dogs as someone else has pointed out in their review! We have been to Thailand several times and enjoyed this location so much, we have rebooked for next year. I would suggest that a car is necessary if you want to further afield than the local area as there are many interesting places in this part of Thailand. There are numerous places to eat in the area and at very reasonable prices, so we didnt need to cater for ourselves except for breakfast at all. Most of the restaurants and shops have people who speak English so there should not be difficult communication issues. As a last point of note, Brad was very helpful to us during our stay and was able to deal with any queries or issues which we had and all in all we have a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at the property. If you are in any hesitation about booking this property, please feel reassured by all the other positive comments which have also been posted.

The house was an absolute dream to stay in. Everything you could ever want or need in a holiday home.
We didnt really stay all that long to really appreciate everything there was in the place. I would be looking to book with you again.
Having the car really paid off too. We went out several times but again, Id like to explore more next time. There are many little cafes and eateries dotted around that you wouldnt be stuck with where to eat out. Its an ideal place to get away from it all and taking a quieter pace of trip..
The pool was great first thing and last thing during the day.. Cant beat it. Shame we didnt get to use the BBQ, but its a great feature as is the little wooden eating area outside.
The villa is quite spacious inside and out for a couple or a family of four. Tesco is not far away and is a nice drive as is the main town of Hua Hin.
I would say that this villa and the area surrounding it is a hidden gem. Absolutely perfect for what I am looking for in a gettaway..
All i can about this place is if i had the cash i would buy it from the owner. First class villa with beautiful pool to relax and enjoy your holiday. Everything is near and easy to get to. A real piece of thailand away from the smoke of Bangkok and the hustle and bustle of Pattaya and Phuket. Local services to town and back are cheap and reliable. You wont want to leave after staying here and sure to come back on your next holiday.
