Thoroughly enjoyable experience, perfect villa in every way, highly recomended. Fantastic location away from the more tourist areas of Kata, idylic setting in very private, quiet estate of top end villas.

From Sydney

This villa is fantastic. It is easily one of the best villas we have ever stayed in, and the owners Shari & Phil really go out of their way to make sure they provide everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you are planning a trip to Phuket and are looking for somewhere peaceful to stay, make sure you book this villa. It is amazing value for money and you definitely wont regret it!

From Angmering

If Paradise was half as nice then I definitely want to go there!!!!! This was my 6th visit at Baan Nai Fun, which says it all really. It is just so beautiful and peaceful that I am more than happy to return again and again. Not only are the villa and surroundings absolutely stunning, but the owners simply couldnt do more to make you feel welcome and happy for you to be visiting their home. On this visit there were 5 of us (more than usual) but at no time did we feel cramped or crowded. There is always a quiet spot somewhere if you want to get away for a bit of peace and quiet. Also lots of space for laughter and fun!!!! If I was asked to describe my vision of Paradise then this is it :-)

Wonderful Home for a Christmas Stay. My husband and I, along with another couple and our adult son, spent a week here over Christmas. What a treat!

From the moment I first contacted Phil and Shari about the possibility of renting their villa to the final email when our security deposit was returned, they made our trip simple. Every question was answered - often even before we knew enough to ask it, every detail looked after and a complete binder of information waiting for us at the villa.

Baan Nai Fun is even more beautiful than shown in the photos. It has been built with care and attention to detail, and then lovingly decorated with Thai statuary, paintings and carvings. A well-stocked library and a chess board were welcome additions to lazy days.

We chose to not rent a vehicle during our stay. Phil and Shari arranged ahead of time for our pick-up and return to the airport, and for any other trips we took, we phoned one of the taxis listed in the house information guide. Town is a short walk (10 minutes) away, and we wandered in there most days for our dinner meal. Restaurants are so reasonable, (and we were so lazy) that we chose to do that rather than cook our own meals. We did, however, cook Christmas Day, and found everything we needed in the kitchen to create our own Thai celebration.

We would certainly recommend Baan Nai Fun to anyone visiting this area of Phuket, and will definitely stay here again should we return ourselves.

A truly magical holiday at Baan Nai Fun. This was our 3rd Thailand holiday staying at Baan Nai Fun, Nai Harn and although we still had very vivid memories of our last visits here we were again totally taken aback on our arrival by the beauty of the villa.
There is such a warm homely feel and real care about the villa which runs through every room. It all goes to create a truly relaxing atmosphere to unwind from our busy lives.
Everything you could possibly want or need is provided in the villa to make it a real home from home in such a beautiful location.
We enjoyed spending many hours just relaxing by the pool, sometimes gazing out into the lagoon to see the wildlife, kingfishers and turtles are a real treat.
We can highly recommend a stay at Baan Nai Fun as the perfect holiday base to explore the idyllic island of Phuket. The Villa has everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and the memories we have will stay with us forever.

Home Away From Home! Stunning! What can I say but WOW! My husband and I stayed for 9 nights just recently. We were amazed when we first stepped through the doors as the place exceed our expectations as the pictures do not do it justice. The place is large and very homely. You can see that Shari and Phil have made it a home away from home. There is everything you may need there, I mean everything, from films, music, games, snorkels, cocktail sets, first aid kit, brochures for Phuket, basics like salt / pepper etc, We also had a great surprise with our welcome pack in the fridge! I mean that is just to name a few things. The place is also spotless and the cleaners come every Mon/Wed/Fri and trust me, they do a brilliant job! The pool was a blessing each evening and even though the villa is located near a pond, there were no mosquitos! It is very serene and peaceful which is great after a day of sightseeing and the villa is in a well kept residential area which is very secure being looked after by security, so its very very safe.

The location is brilliant! Naiharn is amazing. Shops are about a 10 minute walk but we had a car so it was so easy to get everywhere. There are lots of options to eat or get takeaway like we did (from Banana Corner (good Thai), DaVinci (fantastic pizza but pricey), Amalfi (fantastic everything), beach restaurants (great) etc. There is also a 7/11 right at the end of the street and other bigger shopping centres about a 10 min drive away. There are also a few good bars around the area, but not sleezy like the ones in Patong! Overall the beach is beautiful (has a little bit of surf at times which is great to play in). We had a day trip out going to most of the beaches on the West coast and Nai Harn and Kata Noi were our favourites when it came to nice sand, blue water and not over crowded. Patong was packed with people (mostly party goers) and was a bit seedy but is a 25 min drive away if you want to go and check out the lady boys etc. Kata and Karon are much closer and also have many options to go out in and is not as seedy. So overall Naiharn was definitely the best choice of location.

In terms of things to do, the list is as long as your arm. Things that we can recommend is Simba Tours. They do Phi Phi Island and Phang Nga Bay mainly as small group tours (15 people) and are the only ones that beat the crowds, which you really will appreciate! Amazing! We also went to Kok Chang Elephant rides, are probably the most trusted to treat their elephants well, fantastic too!

Overall, when it came to leave the amazing villa, we were so depressed and are already planning our next trip back! Thanks Shari and Phil!

Fantastic villa in top location. Beautiful, family friendly, very clean and top furnished villa near Nai Harn and Rawai Beach. The adjoining lagoon, the garden and the outdoor area with pool are simply fantastic and you would really never want to leave. In this house, you really do not want for anything. This was certainly not the last time we will stay there.

Perfect holiday house, again and again. We've said it all before about the beauty of Baan Nai Fun (in the previous two trips we had here). Over the last 3 years we have stayed at Baan Nai Fun for a total of over 9 weeks and all of our family just love the house, the garden, the pool, the lake and the team of people you will meet who keep things running so well. The efforts that Shari, Phil and their team put into maintaining such a beautiful house are apparent every day you stay here. We've stayed in lots of holiday rental houses all over the world and I can say this would have to be the best for so many reasons. The other reviews tell the story - and if there is anything Shari can do to make your stay in Nai Harn (such a lovely spot in Phuket) even more special, she and her team will.

Paradise. Stunning, beautiful, breath-taking, so many adjectives yet none really compare to the real thing. Sawadika! I stayed in Baan Nai Fun for 12 days with family and it has truly been the best experience of my life. As a novice traveller to Asia, I was understandably apprehensive but I have never been as glad that I took the leap and came to Thailand. Getting to the villa from the airport was quick and painless as Phil and Shari had arranged a car to pick us up and bring us to Baan Nai Fun, and first impressions of the villa itself was awe. It's situated in a gated residential area with 24hr security, so safety is not an issue. It is spacious and welcoming with good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen/dining/living area is open plan and friendly with plenty of space to sit down for a meal, although we spent most of our time in the gorgeous outdoor sala overlooking the lagoon. Everything that you need is here, right down to tiny umbrellas for cocktails, and the owners even provide some food to feed the fish in the lagoon. The welcome booklet provided helpful tips and tricks for navigating around Nai Harn and Rawai, including many restaurants that have been tried and tested. The infinity pool was a welcome escape from the humidity of the changing seasons and always pleasantly warm. If you feel like exercise other than swimming there are two bikes that are available to use, and it was lovely cycling around Nai Harn lake during the early morning, then back up to the villa for a cold shower and refreshments. The local village is no more than a 10 minute walk from Baan Nai Fun, and has a bank machine as well as many restaurants and convenience stores. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and we will definitely be back to Baan Nai Fun and Thailand.

Memorable Phuket Visit. Villa is located in serene, cosy and calm surroundings. It is well and intelligently equipped keeping in mind user convenience. It has also been maintained with love and care. The location is a short distance from beaches as well as from excellent eating joints. One can even walk, jog or pedal to these places. Phil arranged for airport transfer and helped in hiring a car for the duration of stay. All in all, it was a trip which we will remember for a long time. Will opt for staying in this accommodation again in our next visit.

Paradise. Set in a beautiful secure gated resort and overlooking a small lake this is simply a beautiful peaceful place. I stayed for a total of ten days and found the villa in a beautiful condition with each and every need tended too. The pool is majestic and with the house well set out and maintained. There are a range of services including Thai massage , 7/11 and restaurants within an easy drive or bike ride and it's close to the beach. It's been a fantastic stay and a great break, a privilege to be able to stay there.

Beautiful in every way. This is the second time we have stayed at the villa as we met our daughter and family from Australia. We loved it last time and it was even nicer this time because we knew it would be amazing in advance. We were not disappointed as it was like coming home. It is difficult to motivate yourself to go out anyway really and several nights we just got the most amazing takeaway from the local restaurants and ate outside in the candlelight. Visited the beaches at Patong, Kata and Nai Harn and the waves were huge. Simple pleasures but the best family holiday. Granddaughter loved feeding the fish. We also enjoyed daily visits from the kingfisher on the lake. Sad to leave but we will be back. Owners organised airport transfer and car hire which was very competitive. Highly recommend Aussie divers in Patong.

Paradise! We have been back a week from our trip to this little piece of paradise and I wish we were still there! Everything went very smoothly, taxi to Nai Harn area and access to villa etc, and once inside it really did feel like a home from home. Very well organised and clean, with a great layout. We were a mixed group of people, with one small child. The pool was lovely and lagoon nice to look out on. My son enjoyed feeding the fish early evening. Village and beach nearby, enough restaurants to enjoy for weeks. We travelled to Rawai beach quite a lot as some nice restaurants there too. If you are travelling with children, Thailand is very family friendly and you can buy all you need in the supermarkets. The Nai Harn beach is very nice and slightly more untouristy than other beaches. We went to Kata beach a couple of times and I was so glad to get back to Nai Harn, which is more peaceful. The villa owners were extremely helpful and quick to respond. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa. Hope to return again one day !!!!

Stayed here at this beautiful villa in June 2016. Every little detail was perfect. It was like home from home with every need catered for from cocktail sticks to sewing kits ! Great location , quiet and peaceful yet accessibility to local attractions was just a short journey away. Shari and Phil were right on point with every aspect of correspondence ( even when we never arrived at the airport to meet the transfer they had arranged for us ! ) This villa is truly beautiful and to anyone thinking of staying here I would say look no further and book !. The photographs on the website do not do this stunning villa justice [UK]

Still a wonderful villa in a lovely setting. Stayed again at Baan Nai Fun, in Nai Harn, Phuket, and everything was just as our visit last year. Shari and Phil cater for your every need in this villa, and our stay for the month just flew by, in the tranquil setting of the villa overlooking the lagoon. Plenty of lovely restaurants in Nai Harn which is just a 10 minute stroll from the villa, and if you have transport there are also excellent restaurants on the way to Rawai and Nai Harn beach. An excellent list of restaurants and directions are listed in the information pack in the villa. Hope to be hack again to this home from home, and thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday [Alloa, Scotland]

What an awesome holiday! You have to visit this stunning villa to appreciate it's full beauty. Set in lush, tropical gardens,we could quite happily have spent all our time at this wonderful home away from home. We loved every minute of our time here and would advise anyone wanting to visit Phuket to look no further! Get booking and see for yourselves. Shari and Phil are very professional, and go the extra mile to make sure you have a fantastic, hassle free holiday. Thank you so much!

Absolutely wonderful. Just enjoyed a 15 day stay at Baan Nai Fun. It is truly wonderful. The photos on the website (although accurately showing the villa and its rooms) can't show the amazing attention to detail which is breath-taking. There isn't a single thing that Shari & Phil haven't thought of putting into the villa to help you enjoy your stay. It has absolutely everything. The gardens and lagoon are spectacular - it is extremely safe since it is on a gated development - the gates manned by security guards who recognise you after only a couple of journeys past them! We hired a car and drove from the airport which was very easy to do - mind you, the motor bikes weaving in and out of the traffic take some getting used to - and it is better to have a car so you can explore further afield as we did. Travelling with a moody teenager was helped by the villa having great Wi-Fi (although the time difference meant that she had to spend more time with us boring parents rather than on Instagram to her friends!!). The local restaurants were great we never had one bad meal and even though I tended to have my favourite Green Curry no two dishes tasted exactly the same but they were all delicious (and soooooo cheap). We visited the night market in Karon Temple which was a great experience .....some great bargains on "genuine reproductions" to be had!! The local beach was lovely and the sunsets beautiful. The frogs chorus every evening was a joy to behold. I can't tell you how lovely it is - visit it and see for yourselves. We had our best ever holiday and now sitting back here in dreary London it is all we can think about!! Thank you Shari and Phil for letting us use your home - we are already planning our return.

Sharon T Oct 2015

Simply the best ! I have just returned from a 5 day stay in this wonderful villa - my only complaint was that it wasn't long enough ! I was travelling with my 2 daughters aged 25 and 17 and we all agreed wholeheartedly that this far exceeded our expectations and was the nicest accommodation and location out of the 3 areas of Thailand we had stayed in . As so many other reviewers have stated aside from the glorious gardens and lagoon it is the attention to detail which sets this villa apart from many others I have stayed in .When we arrived we were surprised to see some guest "offerings" put in the fridge for us including milk, bread ham ,wine and ground coffee ! There is every appliance you could need and we were also glad to have a washing machine after 2 weeks of travelling. Other surprises such as a wonderful music ,book and dvd selection to choose from, fish food for the lagoon fish and yes even cocktail umbrellas ! It is clear that the villa is much loved and cared for as it looks much newer than its 13 years or so. We had a problem with one of the aircon units when we arrived which was fixed within 30 min thanks to Khun Ya. We didn't have a car and so we found the taxi service handy that Shari and Phil recommended. A short 10 -15 min walk to nice eating venues locally in Nai Harn and only 10 -15 by taxi to Karon beach ( 300 - 400 Baht) . We can also highly recommend a local massage business called " Nids" within walking distance (a daily occurrence for us ) and an organic cooking class held in nearby Rawai . Don't look anywhere else to stay but this beautiful villa in the Baan Bua complex is my suggestion !

Total Relaxation. Just finished a 10 day stay in this fabulous villa with my wife and two children. The villa is really well fitted out with everything a family could need for a wonderful holiday. Apart from the pool and and beautiful surroundings the villa also has all you could need for an extended stay. Plenty of games, satellite tv, music system, internet kept us all entertained on those rainy days that you sometimes get in Sept/Oct in Thailand. What sets this villa apart is the extra touches such as a basket of pool toys, lovely toiletries and towels, even an extremely well stocked first aid kit. The villa is really generous size, allowing parents areas to retreat to, and relax in relative quiet, while the kids play in the well maintained pool. Locally it is relatively quiet, so if you were looking for the bright lights, this may not be the location for you, that said the restaurants in the local village, and in particular the Banana Boat were very good. We hired a car for two of the days, it was really easy to get around the island, and I would recommend a day trip to Patong, as well as a few of the local sites, and not to be missed is the weekend night markets in Phuket, best food we had on the trip. We travelled with another family, who stayed in one of the other villas in the complex, so if you're considering holidaying with friends this would be a good option if both villas were free. The complex is totally private and safe, there is virtually no traffic, allowing the children to go between the two villas with complete safety. So for a great location to relax and re-charge your batteries this beautiful villa is highly recommended !

Heaven again. The first time you stay at Baan Nai Fun, you are met with delightful surprises (such as how the house and gardens are actually better than you expect, or how well Shari and Phil have prepared things for you, like car rental or transfers or even babysitting). The second time at Baan Nai Fun simply deepens your connection with a truly special place in a beautiful part of the world. For weeks leading up to our second trip to Baan Nai Fun, the kids were remembering all the special things about the house, the pool, the people who work for Shari and Phil to keep the place looking so wonderful. Once again, the expectations were exceeded. Whether you set foot in the pool or lie back on a sun chair or take a bath or simply walk out the front door to be greeted by butterflies, Baan Nai Fun works it magic on you. We love the house, the people who maintain it so well (Khun Big, Khun Mala, Khun Ya and of course our tireless and attentive hosts, Shari and Phil) and the whole area. And yes, we have booked again for a third year.

Soren L Jul 2015

Absolutely wonderful Villa. We just returned from a 2 weeks vacation in this gorgeous Villa. Its really a nice Villa in a quite, secure development. The Villa has everything you need for a pleasant holiday. Our kids loved the pool and the view from the terrace and pool are just amazing. Thanks to you Phil & Shari for your excellent service and organization. We will definitely recommend this villa to others.

An amazing experience. This was my 11th trip to Thailand and I can honestly say that this was by far the best place that I have stayed at. Looking at the pictures doesn't do the villa justice. You have to be there to fully appreciate how beautiful it really is. My sister and her husband and niece and her husband were with us on their first trip to Thailand and had what they described as the holiday of a life time. We arrived late in the evening so didn't get to see the villa in all its glory until the morning...but boy it was worth the wait. My partner and I stayed in the master bedroom and when we pulled the curtains open in the morning we were greeted by the most fantastic view of the lagoon in front of the villa. It was quite clear that this was more than just a holiday home as there were so many personal touches all around the villa. Everywhere we looked there was something else to surprise us. Everything that you could think of was provided and then there were the things that you didn't think of which were also provided. The owners kept in touch via email and phone which was a nice touch. The garden area of the villa was fantastic and very well maintained as was the pool. The maid service was excellent and we had no reason to complain about anything. We had to report the air con in bedroom 3 had stopped working after a power cut. Within 5 minutes of reporting the problem Khun Ya was at the villa fixing the that's what I call service. We stayed for 25 nights and that was the only problem we had to call anyone for. There was a table tennis table for the more active and the use of 2 mountain bikes which we took advantage of. There was a separate study where the owners allowed you the use of their PC. All nice touches. The villa is not to far from Nai Harn beach which is one of the best beaches on Phuket. 15-20 minute walk or a few minutes on a scooter which we chose to hire. There are a number of places to eat and drink within walking distance all of which are excellent. Our favourite being Number One. There is plenty to see and do around Nai Harn and Rawai but when you just want to chill and relax what better place than Baan Bua Fun Villa. We all agreed that if we had to sum up in one word to describe the villa and it's garden it would have to be..PARADISE. Thank you Phil and Shari for letting us share your beautiful home.

Hazel & Morgan Apr 2015

Amazing gem of a villa. Just enjoyed two wonderful weeks at this "home from home". Shari and Phil the owners have really thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The house and grounds are very well maintained. The size of both the house and surrounding grounds are enhanced even further by the lagoon which the property leads down to. The fish have their watches set to 5 o'clock every day and sit along the waters edge to get some food. It is so peaceful and feels very safe within this gated estate. We walked to the village at night as it is an easy stroll away and there are many restaurants for all tastes. We always eat thai food and there are some great thai ones. Lovely german bakery at the top of the road on the way back to the villa - fresh rustic loaves and even have a very buzy cafe if you like eating breakfast or lunch out. There are two bikes supplied for your use - we made good use of them going round the local area and rawai beach area. Only 2 of us stayed here but plenty of space for a family with their own patio door access to the pool or gardens and private space if they wanted. Many repeat guests in the guest book so that says it all. Would certainly recommend to our family and friends and hope to return in the future

Absolutely Perfect Villa! Ideal for a family of 4! We come to Phuket every April. Used to own a condo near Naiharn Beach. By far this is the best place we've stayed in Thailand (and we have been coming to the Kingdom for over 20 years). The villa is perfectly set up, beautifully maintained and the owners have anticipated virtually anything you could need. We even rented a car through the book in the villa and it worked out great! This is the best organized villa ever!. It is in a beautiful quiet, luxurious spot a 15 minute walk from two great breakfast spots (Breakfast Hut and The German Bakery). The three bedrooms each with its own bathroom are really private. There is even a stand-alone study with WiFi where you can work privately.

WOW What an amazing villa! We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and this lovely villa ticked all the boxes. We have never stayed in such luxury and felt so at home. With white bath robes and slippers in every room, huge fluffy bath towels as well as towels for the beach and for the pool. Everything we needed was provided. The villa is situated in a very quiet, peaceful location overlooking a lagoon and the delightful local village is a 10-15 min walk away, where you will be spoiled for choice when deciding where to eat. Our favourite places were Banana Corner, Catfish and Number One, all very cheap and delicious. Our daughters preferred at times to cycle to the village, on the two bikes provided, to collect a Thai takeaway from The Two Sisters cafe or pizza to have back at the villa. Nai Harn beach is about a 30 min walk from the villa or 10 mins on the bikes, or there are plenty of Tuk Tuk Taxi's for a lift if needed. This area of Phuket has remained unspoilt due to the Buddhist Temple which is there, no high rise development is allowed, there are only a couple of small hotels and luxury villas.

Steve & Jackie Feb 2015

A perfect holiday location, that will not disappoint. This is our 5th visit to Phuket and we have stayed at Baan Nai Fun on each occasion. It was on our first visit that we instantly fell in love with the villa and decided there and then that we would have to come back. The high standard and beautiful setting simply screams at you to relax and we found we spent so many hours simply lazing around the pool enjoying the beautiful garden, watching and listening to sounds of the wildlife. From the Mynah birds at dawn through to the cicadas and frogs at dusk and not forgetting the lovely "kissy kissy" calls from the gecko's. It was the perfect atmosphere to unwind and exactly what we needed from our holiday. The villa will provide everything that you need for your entire holiday and is close to some lovely restaurants that offer amazing food at very reasonable prices. We often found ourselves at Banana Corner, Archees or Driftwood that all offer excellent local cuisine and it's a short drive along the coast to Sabai Corner where you can watch the sunset with a cocktail or stay longer and enjoy a delicious meal afterwards. There really is no better place to relax and unwind while having enough choice of local and western restaurants within easy reach to suit all tastes. Will we be back ....what do you think! Thanks to Phil and Shari for providing us with such a breathtaking holiday destination.

Posted on behalf of our guests. Idyllic private pool villa in paradise. Gorgeous tropical setting by quiet lagoon. Private garden and luxurious warm pool that was constantly inviting.Spacious sunbathing areas and adjoining Thai style sala areas that we loved for breakfast, shaded cocktails and dining. It is obvious from the way everything is maintained and equipped to an exceptional standard, that the owners give this villa lots of care and love and go the 'extra mile' with hospitality so that nothing is missing. Wifi was perfect and I enjoyed a utopian office experience each morning relaxing poolside to quickly catch up on emails before 'switching off' for the rest of the day. There was a thoughtful welcome hospitality package including wine, and the bathrooms included quality toiletries. We looked forward to feeding the fish in the lake at the end of each perfect day...and found nothing that we could fault. The area has numerous restaurants of high quality at modest prices and with excellent beaches and sightseeing there was never a shortage of things to do. Very highly recommended!!

Posted on behalf of our guests. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! Don't stay anywhere else but HERE!! I picked this place based on the reviews and WOW am I glad I did! My husband and I and our four children went to Thailand for the first time and had no idea where to stay or what to do. Shari and Phil walked us through everything and even gave suggestions on places to eat and things to do. This villa is THE PERFECT location. We hired a car for our 10 days using the place from the airport that was suggested by Shari and Phil. When we drove into the driveway and got out of the car I could see my husband and my children's jaws just drop! The place is GORGEOUS. As all the reviewers here said, everything you need is in the house. Just pack your swimsuit and go! (really you don't even need that with all the stores around!) All the great restaurants in the area are walking distance (but we did drive because of the 4 children) We really enjoyed going to The Breakfast Hut almost every morning for breakfast. For dinner I would suggest Banana Corner, Two Sisters and M&M Pizzeria if you are looking for something other than Thai food. (My kids loved the pizza there!) The most amazing place we ate was suggested by Shari and Phil and was called Mom Tri's Kitchen. It was close by and you sit overlooking the Sea. AMAZING food and AMAZING location (with prices to match but I thought it was worth it!) THE HOUSE- We got TONS of use out of the amazing pool. You can even swim at night because the pool has underwater lights! It is SO clean the temperature is perfect! My husband and I would get up every morning and sit in the chairs overlooking the lagoon and drink our coffee and listen to all the sounds (and there are lots of sounds from the frogs and birds!) It was AMAZING! The kitchen has everything you would need in it though you will probably not cook much with all the reasonable restaurants close by. The house is CLEAN and the ladies that clean it do a great job. They even have beach towels there so you don't have to bring those (which take up a lot of room with 6 people) We snorkeled in the Phi Phi Islands, Scuba dived at Racha Island, visited Phang Nga bay, went on an elephant ride, went to three different beaches that we LOVED, ate amazing Thai food, ate lots of ice cream, went to the markets on the weekend (DON"T MISS THOSE!), saw the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong and went to 2 different malls. We always couldn't wait to get back to the villa and relax. It was the most AMAZING holiday we have ever had. Location-away from all the craziness but close to everything you need House-Clean and beautiful The grounds of the house-GORGEOUS, quiet and relaxing Does this tick all your boxes? Thank you Shari and Phil for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We will never forget it and will be trying our best to get back.

Posted on behalf of our guests. So Good To Be Back! This is my husband’s and my 2nd time in this amazing villa! We do not normally go back to places twice but how could we resist when this place feels like home and is in an amazing setting! The villa lies in the most beautiful setting and is very private. It is so nice to come back after a day out and feel like you are at home. The place is set up with everything you could think of and the cleaners/maintenance people are very friendly! It honestly, honestly, has such a great vibe to the place. Its great coming home after a day out and swimming in the pool and relaxing! We had my mother in law stay for a week and there is plenty of room with all bedrooms have their own bathroom so we felt like we had our own space. If only the photos did the place justice! Naiharn is a great location with lots of restaurants and bars if you can pull yourself out of the villa for a night out for dinner etc. But on the other hand it isn't as 'crazy' and busy as nearby Patong which is so nice! The beach is also, I can honestly say, the nicest on all Phuket! We hired a car again and I think this makes the experience much easier, as the walk down to the beach is a little way, but still doable if need be. Don't hesitate booking, trust me, we will be back again!

Posted on behalf of our guests. One of the best holidays we have had. "Superb" doesnt do it justice. It has been one of the most enjoyable holidays we have had. My wife and I along with our 3 boys (ages 8, 7 and 5) recently had the pleasure of staying at Baan Nai Fun for just under a week in late October. We loved every minute of it. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and full of character. It is set in a beautiful, tranquil and very quiet location. Being situated within a gated community made us feel more at ease, especially as we were there with young children, however it was soon apparent that there was no real need to feel this way. It is very safe walking around the local neighbourhood (which has a slightly bohemian feel to it) which we did frequently, visiting the numerous local cafes and shops. All of these were within easy walking distance which the children managed without any difficulty. Nai Harn beach is also within easy walking distance. It took us approximately 20 minutes to walk there from the villa, with the children. Nai Harn beach is truly stunning. The vistas are breathtaking and it must be one of the best beaches in Phuket. Despite this, it is often far from crowded and we certainly felt we had large sections of the beach to ourselves on most days we visited. Organising our stay at Baan Nai Fun was incredibly easy and straight-forward. From the point we first made contact with Phil and Shari, we were always left feeling totally confident that our stay would go without any hitches, and it did. Our trip was genuinely a 5 star experience. Our only complaint was that we had to leave with 3 very sad little boys. Thank you so much Phil and Shari. [Rish & Annette, UK, October 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. So disappointed................we only booked for 10 days !! From the moment we sent an enquiry right up to when we got home again, the level of communication, advice and information from the owners of this villa was exemplary. To stay at the villa you literally just need to turn up with your clothes and a toothbrush, every luxury and detail is ready and waiting for you ! We have stayed in several rented villas, all over the world but never had we experienced the degree of care provided at this property, the additional luxuries you would normally associate with a 5 star hotel, such as bathrobes and slippers, iPod docking stations, Molten & Brown toiletries in the bathrooms, lilos for the pool, free wifi, a library of hundreds of books, maid service three times a week............the list is quite literally endless ! Even food so you can feed the friendly neighbouring cats if you wanted to and the fish in the adjoining lagoon ! Even the store room was stocked with essentials you would normally have to purchase yourself on a self catering holiday, washing powder, tissues, bug spray, bags and towels for the beach, even hats and caps ! The villa is light and airy and very obviously furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The bedrooms are very large and the property is perfect for a large family or even three couples, as there is more than enough room. The outside space is beautifully set out to enable you to take a dip in the pool whilst looking out over the lagoon and although there are other villas nearby, you are not overlooked and its very private. We felt comfortable and relaxed from the moment we drove into the gated community, there are always two or three security guards on duty, not that we even felt at all unsafe. This is a wonderfully quiet location yet it only takes 10 minutes to walk onto the nearby road, where there is a bakery and several restaurants, supermarket and other shops. We were so relaxed at this villa our 10 day holiday seemed to flow by in a daze of sunshine, sunbathing, reading books and taking a dip in the pool ! If you are looking for an outstanding villa in Phuket, stop right there, you just found it ! [Carrie & Steven Rowe, October 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. Perfect for a relaxing break. My wife and I have just returned from our second visit to Baan Nai Fun. The villa is very stylish, but is also extremely comfortable, with everything you could want. The attention to detail is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for the very helpful owners. We loved swimming in the pool and the secluded outside area is well equipped with sun loungers overlooking the garden leading down to a small lake. A car is helpful if you want to visit the many local attractions and beaches, but there are several restaurants and shops within walking distance for those that prefer not to drive. We also made use of the bikes to cycle to the local German bakery to buy bread and croissants before returning to sit in the Sala to eat breakfast overlooking the lake. What bliss! [Steve & Ros Troop, UK, August 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. Wonderful home for a perfect holiday. We stayed at Baan Nai Fun for a month and could not stop loving the beautiful house, the luxurious pool, the spacious tropical gardens and the fantastic locals who help Shari and Phil maintain the place in such immaculate condition. It is really obvious how much effort Shari and Phil have put into developing and maintaining such an amazing property. That same attention to detail and quality extends to the whole experience of staying at Baan Nai Fun, from the very useful guide booklet Shari and Phil provide to guests, to the welcome pack and to all the other arrangements they offer to make for your holiday (they booked our transfers, car rental and even found us some superb babysitters). The local people (Khun Big, Khun Mala, Khun Ya, Khun Samard and Khun Tan) who Shari and Phil arranged to help us during our stay lavished us with the same quality of service that Shari and Phil have earnt over their years in Nai Harn. Everything positive we read in the previous reviews about Baan Nai Fun was true. The photos of the property only show partly how beautiful the house and pool are. When you first jump into the pool, swim across to the infinity edge and gaze out at the small lake in front, the magic of Baan Nai Fun starts to work its way into your heart. The house is part of a very quiet, secure and upmarket housing estate and Nai Harn beach is just down the road. We found Nai Harn is one of the best areas in Phuket, being an expat location with plenty of great restaurants, very few hotels and minimal high rise developments. Nai Harn beach is a gem (with good surfing when we stayed in July) and the surrounding areas of Rawai, Kata and Chalong provided us with plenty to eat, see and do. The experience of staying at Baan Nai Fun was so good that we have already booked our stay next year. [Sean Macfarlane, Australia, July 2014]

Everything you could wish for!! From the response to our initial inquiry, through requests for advice in advance, to the speedy refund of our deposit, the owners Phil and Shari did everything possible to make our stay as easy as possible. This was a family "Dream Holiday of a Lifetime", and Baan Nai Fun played its part in making those dreams come true. We came from 3 nights in Bangkok where we had been given a free upgrade to the penthouse suite in a top 20 hotel, and there was absolutely no feeling of a dro p in quality when we reached the villa. The place was immaculately presented and the pictures dont do it justice. On days when we needed to chill out the size of the villa meant our 20 & 22 year old sons had their own space which really helped. You can feel this is a family home, but you very quickly feel it is your family home. From the welcome pack to the massive library of books, dvds and cds this is a true representation of "Mi casa es su casa" Although you can walk to the nearest village with a decent selec tion of restaurants and essential stores, we are glad we hired a car. Location wise, you are right on the south of Phuket with 2 of Asias top 10 beaches within a 10-15 minute drive, and a third, smaller one Yanui (which IMHO is the nicest) even easier to get to. A Sat-nav is helpful especially in the first few days. However if you want to get busy, Patong is about 25 minutes drive. Our two eldest sons did a couple of nights on the Bangla Road, and got taxis back for under £15, although you may pay more to get there. Point is this villa will let you try that type of nightlife if that is what you want, but for us less adventurous types it was perfect for a relaxing break. Service from the maids and security was A1, and in spite of my teens/grownup boys they kept everywhere scrupulously clean and tidy. With towels, toiletries, first aid kit, adapters, guidebook and all you could possibly need at the villa, you actually could do a hand luggage only trip if you want to save money on flights, but nothing about Baan Nai Fun feels anything less than first class. Sadly I cant see circumstances allowing us to return to Thailand, but if that changed, I would return to Baan Nai Fun in a heartbeat. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. [Robin Millard, UK, May 2014]

Superb. The ultimate moral dilemma. So good you should tell everyone, so good you dont want to tell anyone. Great location close to Nai Harn Beach and village with a good variety of restaurants and amenities. A car or scooters are recommended but taxis are also available. The villa has everything you need including beach & pool towels. Phil & Shari have provided a wealth of information and recommendations and are very quick to respond if you have any need to contact them. We stayed with 2 teenagers and there are lots of non-beach activities for them as well. This is a real home from home and we hope to return soon. [Mark & June, Dubai, April 2014]

(Posted on behalf of our guests as Villarenters does not permit guests to enter reviews themselves). Great Location, home from home. 6 of us stayed from the 16th to 29th March 2014 and the villa was perfect. About half a mile from Nai Harn Beach and the same distance into Nai Harn town. Nothing was too much trouble for Shari and Phil and they kept in contact by email to ensure our stay was trouble free. The villa is well appointed, with every mod-con needed if you just wanted to relax by the chlorine free pool (nice, no stinging eyes) and as it was close to the beach, not far if you needed to get back quickly. Would definitely stay again. [Paul & Karen King, UK, March 2014]

(Posted on behalf of our guests as Villarenters does not permit guests to enter reviews themselves). Heavenly. A quiet and idyllic location. Large house with every comfort (fully air conditioned) with lots of space and fully equipped and neat inside and outside. One feels immediately at home. Ideal to rest in peace and enjoy the area. The pool is very nice in size and temperature. We enjoyed the outdoor area around the pool and wifi. [F.Mathis, France, March 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. The villa is a real gem, luxuriously furnished. We couldnt have hoped for a more beautiful location and the view out over the lagoon is breathtaking in the morning light. You have everything you could possibly need for a family holiday and the services are first rate. Wonderful restaurants and many fun things to do nearby make this the ideal base to explore the best of Phuket. We loved it so much we have booked again ! [Alex, London, UK, Jan 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. A Living dream. We arrived at Baan Nai Fun after having spent some time in Malaysia after a short drive ( aprox 1 Hour) from the airport, We entered through the security gate and immediately it felt we were in a world of our own, The Villa frontage just looked amazing and once through the front door we were taken aback by the decor inside, The Lounge with 2 sets of Glazed patio doors exited out onto the Pool terrace and just beyond the pool we overlooked a lagoon in which Coi Carp swam alongside many other beautiful birds. The villa had everything that you would need to make a stay an absolute comfort (Broadband, Television , and even a table tennis table which we used daily prior to a cool swim. The area has some great restaurants and we took a cycle ride to the beach (yes we even had cycles provided) I could go on and on but in all I would not hesitate to recommend Bann Nai fun as a great home from home but with just that little extra paradise feel. [Andy, UK, Jan 2014]

Posted on behalf of our guests. Excellent holiday at Baan Nai Fun! Just nearing the end of a 10 night stay and we have had an excellent family holiday at this beautiful villa. Nai Harn is walking distance and very quaint with a few bars and restaurants. The owners of the villa, Shari and Phil have been very attentive in making sure we have had everything we need from the point of booking to leaving for home. It is a truly beautiful holiday home. [Kerry, Leeds, UK, November 2013]

Posted on behalf of our guests. We had the most wonderful time at the villa, absolutely fabulous. A true home from home (much better than home) which I have never experienced before in a rented property. Attention to detail is that of a 5 star hotel and more. Just cant wait to return. [Pat & Steve, UK, September 2013]

The perfect 5 star villa. What a fabulous villa. From the moment we walked through the door we just fell in love with it. The villa was spotless and we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack. Shari and Phil had provided all the comforts of home so there was no need to rush out and shop. We felt as if we were in a 5 star hotel. We have 3 teenage children who loved the pool , the table tennis and used the bikes to cycle to the beach. It was so relaxing, our stay was far better than we had ever imagined and it was a pleasure to stay in a villa that is so well looked after. Thank you so much for sharing your special home with us - we look forward to coming again !! [Simon & Jude, Dubai, August 2013]

Perfect luxurious villa in beautiful peaceful location. 5 star luxurious spacious villa in peaceful location never stayed anywhere as beautiful, clean or well equipped. We were totally amazed by the property on our arrival. Fantastic pool overlooking lagoon enjoyed watching all kinds of wildlife. Villa excellently maintained efficient cleaning and maintenance staff. 5 mins on mopeds to lovely beaches and great places to eat close by. Lovely welcome pack on arrival - wine, beer and food greatly appreciated after long flight. The service from the owners prior, during and after our stay was first class nothing too much trouble - answered e mails straight away, arranged hire car, suggested flight agents, prompt return of deposit - extremely efficient with everything. [Glen & Liz, UK, September 2013]

Beautiful villa in perfect location. Lovely spacious villa in beautifully kept grounds (including a lagoon!) The villa is very tastefully done with lots of little touches which make the stay feel very luxurious. Bikes are provided which are great for nipping down to the town or to the beach in only a few minutes. The pool is massive and theres also a table tennis table, various board games, books, dvds etc, so its very hard to get bored! Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend. [Oliver & Katy, UK, July 2013]

Beautiful home in a quiet neighbourhood. First off, Phil and Shari were a pleasure to deal with during the booking process, while we were at the home, and again after I returned back home. They are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The house itself is beautiful. The common area as well as the bedrooms are all well-sized and appointed, though none of the bedrooms have a television. The beds are large and comfortable and the air conditioning units do an excellent job. We ran into a problem with one of the units, but we informed maintenance and it was fixed within an hour. Though we had a few unforeseen problems here or there, maintenance was a phone call away and they were able to take care of everything quickly and effectively. The housekeeping service is also friendly and incredibly thorough. Really, you could eat off of the floors once theyre done with the place, if youre into that sort of thing. The study being detached from the house is a minor inconvenience. If the wi-fi signal had been a little stronger, we probably wouldnt have had to venture into it at all, but since we did, I appreciated the couches as well as the stereo. Free reign over the desktop PC in the study is a fantastic perk, as well. I stayed in the master bedroom and found it to be exceptional. The sliding doors leading to the private patio are great and the master bath was beautiful. The pool is fantastic. Perfect size, great view of the lagoon, etc. We all appreciated the inclusion of the pool toys and the floating chair. We didnt use the kitchen much, but it was well-appointed. We also appreciated having access to a washer as that saved us a bit of time and money. The only negative in my book is its relative distance from Sai Yuan. I am comfortable on a motor scooter, so it wasnt much of a problem for me, but a couple of my traveling companions werent in the same situation. I did walk over to Sai Yuan in order to pick up my scooter and its maybe a ten minute walk, which is certainly doable, but not something that you want to make a habit of in that kind of weather. Phil and Shari are nice enough to include the use of two bicycles. Overall, a fantastic place. I would not hesitate to stay again. [J.LaBarge, USA, July 2013]

The house is beautiful in all aspects and the grounds are exquisite. After entering the property across the lotus pond, opening the front door is a revelation. Baan Nai Fun isn’t a holiday villa it’s a home, and a fabulous one. From the fully equipped kitchen to satellite TV, Music systems, DVDs, Bikes, Games, internet access everything is provided. Even luggage scales to ensure your return flight check-in goes smoothly! There is only one drawback! The villa is almost too comfortable. The gardens, the pool and the views over the fresh water lagoon are so beautiful and so relaxing that it’s difficult to go out and explore Phuket. Sitting in the morning sun watching the lagoon area come to life is enchanting. It teems with wildlife. The flock of yellow spectacled Mynah birds trill beautifully as they sip water at the infinity edge of the pool and the fleeting glimpses of the iridescent blue back of the Kingfisher are a delight. The pool area is a perfect suntrap. The sun rises over the lagoon in time for an early breakfast in the sala and passes over the rooftop just as you’re beginning to think whether to go out and eat the fabulous food in the local restaurants or stay in and cook something to eat outside as the stars come out. If you can tear yourself away, this corner of Phuket has plenty to explore and enjoy. Driving in the area is easy too. The swarm of motor scooters isn’t a problem. With up to four Thais on each bike, they weave in and out around you quite carefully, almost gracefully in fact. Even in the busy areas like Patong and Chalong we never encountered an aggressive driver on two wheels or four. Even with a whole world to explore it will be difficult to resist going back to Nai Ban Fun. Phil and Shari are the perfect hosts too. Their almost instant responses to our emails with help and advice ensured we enjoyed our holiday to the full.

If you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful stay in Phuket then Baan Nai Fun is for you. The villa is in the most beautiful setting, with its own infinity pool and views over the lagoon. The accommodation is very comfortable with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful living/dining area, with all the mod cons. My only regret is not having booked a 2 week stay! The owners, Shari and Phil are wonderful to deal with and made the booking process very easy. Their prompt reply to emails and additional advice on the area made all the difference

We rented this villa for one month and it was absolute paradise! The villa is like a home from home with every need catered for. We travelled with our 3 and 9 year old children and they also loved it! We can highly recommend this villa to anyone and we will definately be returning. The owners are also an absolute pleasure to deal with.

[Deborah & Don Hewes, Singapore, August 2011] Baan Nai Fun is a beautiful villa in a secluded part of the south island. We had such a lovely time and feel very lucky to have been able to share this amazing place with the owners, Phil and Shari. Phil and Shari went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was perfect, they gave great advice on our holiday and the arrangements they made for us were outstanding. We would highly recommend this holiday place to everyone, what a wonderful place to relax but still feel like we were at home.

[Steve & Jackie, UK, June 2011] The villa Baan Nai Fun is an idyllic holiday retreat that has a real home from home feel about it. It is spacious, extremely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard in traditional Thai style while catering for all mod cons including satellite TV, internet access and music system. We spent a large part of our holiday just relaxing around the villa because we found that it was such a perfect location. The infinity pool is clean, very warm and easily large enough to cater for a family it overlooks a natural lagoon which attracts a range of birds, on our visit among others we saw Water Hens, Drongos and Kingfishers. We found that there was absolutely no problem from insects or mosquitoes despite the close proximity to water due to the sympathetic planting of insect repellent shrubs around the entire area. Baan Nai Fun offers the perfect location to relax in a secure and safe environment and is only a 15 minute walk to the lovely beach at Nai Harn, It is in close proximity to a large range of excellent restaurants to cater for local and western dishes. We would thoroughly recommend villa Baan Nai Fun to anyone wishing to stay in Phuket as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful place.

[Ruth Ansell, Hong Kong, June 2011] On arrival at the villa you immediately feel relaxed, it is spacious, the bedrooms are large and it is beautifully furnished throughout with all the amenities you require, books, music and even internet access if you wish. The villa is situated in a beautiful lush garden and a lagoon and it is great to lounge in the pool and watch the wild life go about their every day living. The local village is within walking distance or only a few minutes away by bike with many cafes for breakfast and restuarants for evening dinner. There are also local shops, if the desire takes you, to buy the basics to to eat in and dine al fresco at the sala by the pool for breakfast or that evening meal. Nai Harn Beach is really great and only a few minutes away by car or bike with very good fresh sea food and of course massages. There is also Rawai which has very good restaurants and again great seafood. The villa is a beautiul place to relax, enjoy and have just a great time and we do highly recommend this as a place to stay.

[Pete, Pauline & Leanne Dickens, UK, April 2011] All we can say is that you will not be disappointed if you choose this villa. In fact you will be pleasantly surprised how it surpasses your expectations. It is not just somewhere to put down your luggage for a few weeks but it is a home from home. The surrounding lagoon offers a lovely view from the pool and the pleasure of feeding the fish and watching the many birds that frequent it. Everything you could possibly require is provided at the villa. In that respect it is certainly the best we have ever stayed at. The area is very peaceful but a more active nightlife is just a short car/taxi journey along the coast. My teenage daughter loved the hustle and bustle of Patong, only to be endured for an evening out mind you! and Kata and Karon resorts which are closer are lively if a little less so.

[Gerard & Donna Fryer, Wales, March 2011] We read most of the comments and a lot of what we were going to say has already been said, but there is one thing we would like to mention. We have stayed in Thailand quite a few times but this is different because it is a home, obviously cherished by Shari & Phil, and it has been our home whilst we have been here. As one previous guest put it - the best part of the day is when you come home to Baan Nai Fun. No need to say anymore. Thank you so much.

[Mette Jensen & Family, Denmark, Feb 2011] We have had 2 wonderful weeks here in Nai Harn. The house exceeded all our expectations and the days here have been perfect for our family. We also loved the beach, massage, German & French bakeries, Banana Corner and Areu Corner restaurants, speedboat to Phi Phi, Coral Island, elephant trekking, watermelon shakes, the night market and going around by scooter... but the best thing was to get back to Baan Nai Fun. Thanks for the best holiday ever.

[Tisa Abel & Family, UK, Feb 2011] What a tremendous recommendation. We had the most glorious time. The villa is beautiful and the setting magnificent. In spare moments during our hectic itinerary it has been therapeutic to sit by or in the pool and just gaze out over the lush vegetation. All the staff have been amazing, friendly and helpful. It would be lovely to return when we have more time to do this beautiful place justice.

[John Collingwood & Family, UK, Dec 2010] We thoroughly enjoyed our week at your villa. It really does have a most peaceful, relaxing and beautiful setting. We found the villa in immaculate condition and were delighted with the layout, tasteful furnishing and decoration and also the generous extras you provide in terms of books, music, internet access, mountain bikes, games and just about everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The site staff were very friendly and helpful and maintenance and cleaning tasks were carried out punctually and efficiently. I would happily recommend, without reservation, a stay in this villa.

[Greg Grabowski & Family, Poland/Oman, May-July 2010] Thank you so much for your hospitality. It's been a lovely time for us. Baan Nai Fun is a beautiful place and we will always remember it. Our baby son learned to walk while staying here ! We also loved Nai Harn as it is so quiet and the people are friendly.

[Merril Trueman, UK, May 2010] Thank you for allowing us to share in your little piece of heaven. Your villa has been brilliantly designed and luxuriously furnished. It has proved to be the perfect location for us to spend time with our family and wonderful to relax in the pool or under the Sala and share time and laughter with the children and their partners. These occasions are all too infrequent but Baan Nai Fun has provided the whole family with great memories to take home with us. Thank you for the recommendations that you made & all your help & advice. The girls went to the Spa for a massage, whilst the boys played golf & we all went to Momtri's for the sunset & a meal which was fantastic. The staff at Baan Bua were also wonderful, particularly the office staff who helped out on a couple of occasions when we needed small maintenance issues looked at & they were sorted out very quickly & efficiently. If anyone expresses an interest in visiting Phuket I would most certainly recommend your villa to them as the perfect place to stay.

[Heidi, Hong Kong, March 2010] My second visit to the villa, and I suspect that it has become a constant, against which the sped of outside life may be measured. The trappings of everyday life change but here at the villa the noise stills and we have a moment to consider true happiness, the power of friendship, and the natural beauty that too often gets blurred as we catapult through our days. An amazing week with dear friends and in a place about which I feel smilingly sentimental.

[Jon-Paul & Hide, March 2010] Looking at the visitors book it seems that we are in competition to see who can make this their 'home away from home'. So far we are poised at four visits - and who could blame us. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, to relax and find yourself again.

[Penny & David, Feb 2010] We had an unforgettable stay in Phuket, to a very great extent because of the house. Even arriving at night after an 18 hour journey, it was stunning. We just had to explore, even though we were really tired. The next morning we realised that we had arrived in Paradise - and that was before we left the property! It is clearly a lovingly created home, beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standards. The sense of space is striking, but not overwhelming, and in the stunning pool, overlooking a tranquil lagoon watching a heron fish one wonders whether it is really worth going to see the rest of Phuket! All this in a peaceful and secluded private estate, but only minutes from the best beach on the island and in easy walking distance of basic shops and a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurant if one really feels the need to go out. We will be back!!

We spent a perfect holiday in this wonderful villa and appreciated very much the comfort there, the pool, the music and the hospitability of the owners. Everything was perfect, very well organised and we had all the conditions to be happy. Hope to come back next year. [Rali, Jean-Marc & Family, France, March 2010]

We wanted to say how much we enjoyed this villa. Sitting outside in the warm with a glass of wine is my idea of heaven, and sitting on the verandah overlooking the lagoon was better still. We have booked villas before and although the pictures seen in advance are always accurate, it is the view you don't see that is the crucial one - this villa was the exception and we don't think the pictures do it justice! We weren't prepared for that wonderful view, and for that view we would have happily forgiven a few shortcomings within the villa itself, but there weren't any. Everything we could conceivably need was there. We hope we will be able to come back again one day. Thank you both so much for the effort you put into making sure that everything was thought of, both in terms of everything available at the villa and the arrangements for our arrival. We had a wonderful 2 weeks. [Barbara & Brian, Dec 2009]

This is my third visit and I am still as in thrall to this place as the first time I saw it - if not more so. Not only is it beautiful but so comfortable - a real home. Thank you so much for allowing me to share a little bit of heaven on earth. I'll be back ! [Dee Palmer, Nov 2009]

I have stayed at this beautiful villa and thoroughly enjoyed the villa and its's in a tranquil setting by a lagoon and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet within easy reach of a lovely sandy beach. The locals were very friendly too.[Angie, 2009]I've stayed 3 times in paradise! Baan Nai Fun is a delightful Thai bungalow with very comfortable beds and furnishings in beautiful surroundings. To get up and have an early morning dip in the pool before breakfast, then deciding where to visit during the day is my idea of heaven! After a good day out enjoying the sites, it’s time for another dip and G&T’s before making yet another decision, where to eat in the evening. There are plenty of very good restaurants in the area and the Nai Harn beach is only about a mile away. I have no hesitation is recommending this delightful place for a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday [Ann, 2009]

We have only started renting out this property recently, having owned it since 2002. We have used it ourselves with many friends and family several times over that period. Everyone who has stayed has enjoyed their time there immensely, "paradise", "tranquility" and "hate to leave" being frequently used descriptors. The name "Baan Nai Fun" translates as "House of our Dreams" and it has proved to be so.

We are retired UK residents. We fell in love with Thailand before our retirement, and over several years we have owned and used with family and many friends this lovely Villa in Phuket for many enjoyable holidays since it was built in 2002. From 2009 we decided to rent out the villa when it is not otherwise being used.
