NOVASOL Holiday Apartment offers a magnificent, panoramic view of the mountains. This holiday ensures a pure relaxation and is surrounded by green fields with fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Its elevated location in the upper village of Blatten, provides you a homely serenity with a fantastic view. The holiday apartment is on the first floor of the chalet with several other dwelling units. Local restaurants and a grocery store are just a few minutes away from here by walking. The 50 square metres apartment is lined with wood, which adds rustic cosiness and warmth to the home. In addition to the living room, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. Each apartment has a separate, covered balcony measuring 10 square metres and the 12 square metres outdoor area is accessible to all the occupants of the house. For a comfortable and pleasant stay, in addition to usual furnishings, there is also a TV, satellite radio, coffee machine, microwave and a vacuum cleaner.SummerValais has 300 days of sunshine in a year. You can enjoy the glorious Alps in an incomparable way, especially in the warm summer months. There are a number of hiking trails and also a few specially designed routes for mountain bikers to ride their bicycles. Adventure seekers also have wide offers for paragliding. There are also well-tended golf courses in this region and you need to be cautious of the high-flying golf balls! Blatten Village is itself a small cauldron full of entertainment. A huge rope course, a mini golf course, a well-equipped children’s play area and many other fun-filled facilities will make your holiday an unforgettable family experience.WinterValais, with four thousand mountains and wonderful sunshine, is filled with multifaceted beauty in winter. Experience the fantastic ski areas in the region. Among the slopes of the ski area of Blatten, Belalp is the best spot in Valais Ski area. The slopes consists of challenging runs that are 60 km long and you can ride your skis on the longest run that begins at an altitude of 3,118 metres. To meet the growing demands of winter tourism, ten million Francs were invested in upper Valais in recent years. Among various other features, the longest, 6 seater chair lift of Switzerland is available here, which can take you up to an altitude of 2,500 metres. At that altitude, all that one can think of is: great snow, great weather!

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
