Overview

The apartment is perfectly positioned for both winter and summer activities.

In winter it is a 10 minute walk (in ski boots) to the Gotschna ski lift and in summer a 5 minute walk to the sports centre with its tennis courts and outdoor swimming pool.

The shops and many restaurants (including the Royals favourite and Klosters best kept secret) are a short walk away. There is no need for a car.

Klosters has a village feel, but offers something for everyone from sophisticated award-winning restaurants to pizzerias for all the family. There are piano bars and more lively bars for any youngsters in your party. Davos, which is a short car journey away or 20 minutes on the train which is free with your visitors card, offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. There is a small cinema in Klosters and a larger one in Davos.

5 Star Luxury Accommodation
The apartment is 145 square metres in size and was built in 2008. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms (2 en-suite) and three balconies, facing east, south and west with very pleasant triple aspect views of the village and mountains. All the furniture and fittings are of the highest quality. The artwork is of the local area and has been especially commissioned from a well-known Swiss/Danish artist. The apartment scores 5 stars with the Swiss Tourist Board (and achieves maximum points).

The very large sitting room is equipped with a huge cream leather corner sofa with adjustable back and incorporated chaise (comfortably seats 10). There is a 52" flat screen HD TV with Blu-Win TV which includes English freeview channels plus hard-drive and the option to buy films, plus home cinema and blue-ray DVD and CD player for your enjoyment (plus a library of DVDs). The log fire (logs provided) and Italian lighting (with dimmer switches) creates a cosy and romantic feel. There is a Bose docking station for your i-pod. The glass and chrome Hülsta dining table with walnut inset and cream leather chairs provides comfortable and sophisticated seating for 8 people.

The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, good quality and plentiful saucepans, frying pans etc. All glass and chinaware is from Villeroy and Boch and is in plentiful supply (e.g. red and white wine glasses, brandy balloons, champagne flutes, beer, water, shot glasses etc.) Naturally there is both a cheese and meat fondue and a raclette machine for your use.

There is access to the south-facing balcony from this living/dining room. The balcony is equipped with a modern table and 4 reclining chairs, and an Outdoor Chef gas BBQ complete with special pizza attachment and paella dish.

The main bedroom has a large and very comfortable modern (2 metre) bed with incorporated bedside tables and lighting and with good quality bedding and a special mattress to aid breathing. This room leads on to the east facing balcony with two comfortble chairs and wine table. There is a full en-suite bathroom, with bath and in-built shower.

The second bedroom (with en-suite shower room) has two twin beds (1.20 metres wide) and an 82cm flatscreen HD TV with English Freeview TV channelswith an XBOX 360 with Kinekt and PLAYSTATION 3. There is also a desk in this room.

The third bedroom has two single beds and small west facing balcony. The third bathroom (with shower) is across the hallway and this houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Naturally there is wireless internet connection throughout the apartment and a laptop is available for your use. The laptop provides links to all the information you could require about the area.

There is an in-house sauna which can be reserved for your private use with shower and relaxation area, ski room and underground car parking space. There is also outdoor private parking. We have 2 sledges for your use.

Our apartment is not a conventional holiday rent. It is our second home and is stylishly furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard. You will find everything for your comfort and convenience (from kitchen supplies to a massage mat to relax your weary body after a hard days skiing or hiking!) We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay here.

We are also happy for you to book the apartment from any day of the week (minimum booking 7 nights). For your information, 2 low cost airlines now fly to Zürich (Easyjet and Aer Lingus) and often have cheap fares mid-week.



Klosters Area
Klosters is known the World over (justifiably) as a ski resort, but it has more than just winter sports. It also has a whole host of summer activities to offer as well. When combined with Davos the possibilities are endless.

In the Winter enjoy 54 ski lifts, 300km of pistes, 3 sledge runs, 100km of winter walking trails, ice hockey, ice skating, curling, horse-drawn sleigh rides etc., indoor swimming pool in Davos (with its heated outdoor pool and jets)

In the Summer enjoy unlimited walking trails, mountain biking, 9 hole golf course (Klosters) and 18 hole golf course (Davos), horse riding, tennis, swimming, rollerblading, archery etc. etc.

Spectacular apartment and very welcoming owner. We had a fabulous stay in Klosters - focus was on skiing but we also managed some great r&r. . This apartment is both stunning and spacious - but also very comfortable. We were completely able to make ourselves at home. Kim, the owner, couldnt have been more helpful both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment and Klosters for a wonderful holiday - were still glowing from our trip.
