Apartment overview - owner's description

The property is almost directly opposite the Hotel Walserhof frequented by Prince Charles and his family when they come to visit Klosters. Klosters is the much more sedate version of its larger and somewhat racier neighbour, Davos, with which it shares very extensive ski slopes.
The shops, restaurants, cable car and sports centre are all in the immediate vicinity - a mere 3-5 minutes walk away. The neighbouring Hotels Steinbock and Walserhof also offer splendid dining facilities.

Luxurious Apartment
The apartment comprises two very decently sized bedrooms each with its own door opening on to the balcony. The master double bedroom is ensuite and the twin bedroom has easy access to its adjoining shower room.
The sitting room also leads on to the balcony and has comfortable seating for all guests. HD widescreen television with UK & EU stations, DVD player and numerous DVDs in many languages. The kitchen is modern, well appointed and equipped with everything you should need. Equipped as well with a coffee machine, sandwich maker, raclette and fondue.
Downstairs, you will find the superb sauna and jacuzzi centre together with plunge pool, shower room and WC. There are also loungers to relax in. There is even a ski room and ample space to store all the outdoor kit you would probably prefer not to bring into the apartment. The underground garage for your car is fully secure. There is also outdoor private parking.
Free and fast wireless internet access throughout the apartment, ethernet connection also available.

So much to do!
Klosters itself is spoilt for the range of activities it can offer, but when you combine it with its neighbour Davos, just a few minutes up the valley, the scope for things to do becomes almost endless. For a start there are two golf courses, 54 ski lifts, 300km of ski pistes, 3 giant sledge runs, 100km of winter walking trails (and many more summer ones), ice hockey, ice skating, curling, horse-drawn sleighs, horse riding, tennis, 9 hole golf course (Klosters), 18 hole golf course (Davos), mini-golf, mountain biking, downhill cycling, horse riding, fishing, water sports, indoor/outdoor tennis, summer tobogganing at Schatzalp, rollerblading, clay pigeon shooting, mountain railways.
Tip! Get a guest card and receive a discount on many activities, entrance fees, green fees and free public transport (local trains and buses). Also there is half price admission to the tennis courts and outdoor swimming pools. In the summer, a guest card gives you access to all the mountain cable cars and railways completely free of charge!

This is an excellent apartment that has everything for a perfect vacation, great location near the Klosters Platz train station, the apartment is clean, tidy, cozy and well equipped with everything needed for a long stay. We have only a small inconvenience - an unresolved incident we have with the owner about damage that he claims we left in the apartment, only until now we are unclear what exactly the damage is because the owner does not communicate with us clearly.

  I emphasize that this is not a disadvantage in the apartment - it is stunning! Just a little inconvenient to us the whole issue, a child may have done harm, we were interested in honest communication to solve the matter, but again - I hang the problem on us and not the owner. But in conclusion I can say that the apartment is perfect and also the hosts are kind and charming, a small tip I would say anyway: If you come to an apartment with a small child, it is worthwhile to bring up all the delicate objects such as decorative objects upstairs, the apartment is a little "sensitive" for small children in some things.

Really nice apartment. Very homely and cosy. Well equipped kitchen and very coveneient location. Loved the amazing bakery next door and 24 hour organic milk station nearby.

I think the sheets and towels need changing. While they were clean, a few of them had stains. Otherwise everything was lovely :)

I travel about 25 trips a year (for the last 19 years) and our stay at Chalet Arve was one of the best stays I've ever had. I was there for work but starting with the warm greeting at the train station from both Amanda and her husband, it felt like a vacation.

Their hospitality, combined with the insane beauty of Klosters, instantly made me love the short walk to the chalet. When I walked into the apartment, it looked exactly like the pictures! Tidy, clean and everything worked!

The location was incredibly ideal because I could walk quickly everywhere I needed to be. Also, exactly like they said it would be! I went directly to the grocery store and enjoyed almost every meal at the chalet. When I did go to a restaurant to eat, the food was incredible!!

I highly recommend staying here! I plan to come back next year!

Absolutely love this chalet. The owners are so helpful and supportive. This is my second time here and it is the only place we will stay in Klosters. So convenient to everything. Great views, full kitchen and all the facilities you need to have a successful vacation. Very well maintained and welcoming. Cannot recommend any higher. Sam

We had a great week at " Chalet Arve". We had such a warm welcome from the owners. They are doing everything to make things easier before and the day of your arrival. The flat is quiet, well furnished,has a nice view on the mountains and has a sauna and jacuzzi in the building. You have everything you need from the coffee machine to the raclette and fondue set. You can walk to the village or the ski lift ( 10-15mn) We liked it so much we have already rented for next year !

The property comes equipped with a superb sauna and jacuzzi centre together with plunge pool and shower/WC facilities - all at your free disposal. The very large balcony has a south and west facing perspective panning round to magnificent views to the south west. Despite its fairly central location the property is remarkably tranquil. From the balcony, there are lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
