We stayed in the Pilatus studio apartment which we found very spacious for 2 people. The apartment was clean and well equipped and has a fantastic view of the North face of the Eiger. The walk up into the town centre is a little steep, but only 10 minutes maximum. D the manager was there when we arrived and couldnt have been more helpful, he gave us some great suggestions as to where to go and what to see. Will go back one day for a longer stay, (we were only there for 3 days as part of a European motorcycle tour).

We were disappointed to find black mould over a considerable part of the bathroom ceiling and window frame. The new manager appeared to be very pleasant and helpful but we did miss the warm welcome we used to get from Monica and the reassurance that she was permanently on site to deal with any problems that might arise. The rental price has risen considerably and this together with problem of the dampness in the bathroom would sadly make us think twice before returning again. We have stayed in the apartment on several other occasions and we were planning to return in the future.

More spacious than expected does not feel like a studio because it is so bright an spacious, very large outside space with plenty of seating. Quiet area only a few minutes walk from the village centre Excellent

In the general the apartment was very good. It has a beautiful view and the person assigned to help us was very good. I am fully satisfied with the surroundings as well as service. The only concern is the check-out time which is 10:00AM. I wish it could be afternoon.

Much bigger than the average ski-resort apartment. Every bit as good as it looks in the photos on the website. Resident caretakers who are friendly and helpful, and provide free transport to the lifts each morning. Direct ski buses only once per hour, but plenty of buses from lifts to town centre from where the short walk home is downhill.

The Pilatus studio apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The young couple who manage the property are excellent components of this experience. We were offered the use of binoculars during our stay, and felt they go beyond the normal requirements of "staff". We appreciated their professional but kind and attentive service during our stay - and that always goes a long way, doesnt it? My only negative comment is about the mandatory insurance being levied against possible breakage and damages by renters. I felt our extra charge should not apply if everything is left the way we found it. I should think most people are quite respectful of other peoples belongings - and it seems we are penalized for the few that are not. New appartment. Good equipped kitchen. Excellent services from Monica and Jose. Washingmachine for us who stay the whole season. If you should change - better bedlamps - a dimmer for the lights

With a small baby this was perfect for us as it had everything we needed and was easy to walk to all the amenities. We would go back, without a doubt. The location and view is stunning. The apartment is modern and spacious. D was great support and very welcoming, with excellent practical suggestions.

Property was much more spacious than we anticipated. Very quiet and had all necessary amenities. D (the property manager) was very friendly and helpful. Location was handy to everything in town. Couldnt fault the property at all and will be recommending to my friends should they ever wish to go to Grindelwald!

Just returned from a week staying in Pilatus Studio. We had a great holiday and would thoroughly recommend this property. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, comfy bed, terrace with fantastic views, satellite tv, dvd player, plenty of pots and pans, dishwasher, access to washing machine/tumble drier (for a very reasonable additional cost), all things like bin bags and toilet rolls provided, and a helpful manager called D who, although wasnt always around, was easily contactable and a mine of information about the area. Yes, there was a bit of black mould on the bathroom ceiling and there is a steep hill back up to town but if you take the short cut (look out for sign with a picture of a bus and a train on it) it is only 380 steps from the end of the road where the studio is to the top of the hill so its really not that bad!

Very friendly people, and the apartment was good. A little beat expensive, but Switzerland is expensive generally speaking.

I like to brief so just the highlights. Monica the property manager was great. Location and view were awesome. Great value as well. Stayed one week in the Pilatus studio and will definitely stay there again. Have stayed in Grindelwald 3 times and this was by far the best deal we had.

A lovely bright, clean and extremely spacious apartment. Very well equipt and in an ideal location. A short uphill walk (10 mins) to the center. Our stay was made even more special due to Monica who looked after the apartments. She coulnt do enough to help. Nothing was too much trouble for her even offering to take us to the supermarket and driving us to the station even though it was only a 10 minute downhill walk. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.

We would highly recommend these self catering apartments. They are very modern and comfortable and we had a patio with a great view of the north face of the Eiger. Monica and Jose were extremely welcoming and helpful and made our stay a delight.

Weve stayed here before so knew what a great standard the apartments are. Wed previously stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and were a little concerned that the studio might be a bit small for the 2 of us. But we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the lovely big terrace. The kitchen and bathroom are also a good size. The only downside I would say is that the studio could do with some blackout curtains as it is really bright in the room in the morning making a lie-in difficult... Monica (the manager of the apartments) is an absolute delight and does everything she can to help. Thanks Monica!
