Very nice apartment located few minutes from the main street and the train station, the view from the balcony is amazing.

Just returned after a lovely week in Grindelwald. The apartments were as good as when we last stayed there in 2008. Excellent facilities and a great location for all the amenties and ski lifts. "D" was fantsatic and helped us greatly with travel to the ski lifts, current information on the resort and weather and was always glad to help in what ever way he could. We are thinking of coming again next year and just have to weigh up the costs as the apartment does take a great chunk of the holiday budget and was double the last time I stayed in 2008. (I know exchange rate etc have had a big part to play) The location, view and the free travel to all the ski lifts does play as big a part in our decision though. Would definately recommend to friends.

This apartment was the highlight of our 5 week trip through Europe. There is nothing we can fault about it!

We really enjoyed the apartment and sitting on the good sized veranda eating our meals or having a drink with the view ahead was fabulous and very relaxing. We were lucky to be there on August 1st, so had the spectacular firework display straight ahead of us followed by smaller displays from high in the mountains. Everything in the apartment was as described and the feeling was of light, spaciousness and cleanliness. There was plenty of storage. The manager D, was very helpful. The walk to Dorfstrasse was only a few minutes. We didn`t like the system for paying for the laundry facilities and in fact felt these should be included in the price. A few more small dishes, a sugar bowl and a pair of scissors would be useful. Some screening on the bathroom window would be good because pulling the blind up and down constantly when the window is open is a nuisance. These are only small things and did not affect our overall experience which was excellent. We also benefited from good weather so had fantastic walking. Key collection was simple too when we arrived after 6.00.PM.

Matterhorn was a well equipped and clean apartment in good condition and is obviously well maintained. It has a fantastic view, an excellent location, and we found D (the new manager) to be very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was ideal as a practical and good value for money base in this wonderful area of the world. We cant wait to plan our next visit. Only one detail for the owner (not for publication), the shower is so (too) powerful it flies off its hook when switched on!

The apartment was amazing! The rooms are modern and all the furnishings are lovely. The view is stunning! We were very well looked after from the start and the staff are friendly, helpful and willing to assist with everything you need. I would recommend this property to everyone and will definitely look at going back again.

Stayed at Matterhorn (2 bed apartment) for 3 nights with my wife and 2 years old son. Very neatly maintained and also well equipped. Property caretaker Monicka picked us up from the Grindelwald Train station when we arrived with bags. Even we got dro pped to the local COOP supermarket after sometime which was very helpful. Also they give us a dro p till the main centre of Grindelwal everyday we stayed there. We celebrated our Sons birthday there and he even got a gift from Monickas son which he is still playing everyday. They are a very friendly family. Plus Very cleanly and neatly maintained flat Same as it was shown in the website Very good views from the balgony of the flat. Infact all the apartments got good views and spacious. Free Broadband wireless connection. I missed my laptop back home so even used their PC to browse the internet. They got variety of DVDs which you can get from them to watch in the evening. Got Satellite connection and a nice Flat LCD tv where you can watch BBC1,ITV and especially CEEBIES for my son. Asian people can watch B4U music which is good relaxing in the evening Care takers Monica and her husband stay in the apartment itself so they are reachable 24 x 7 really. Minus No microwave which I have mentioned to Monica and they have already talked about it to the owner. Around 3 Frank extra money per day/per head for the amount of days you stay there. But I beleive that is a standard charge to stay as tourist. If you want to walk from the apartment to the grindelwald on your own it is a bit steep walk for around 7 to 10 minutes. People like me who are not used to it will struggle but Monica and her husband always helps to dro p you so no real minus here.

Looking around, the apartment was expensive for the offpeak period. However it was comfortable (once the heating for the building was repaired - very cold first night!) and well set up. The biggest plus for the apartment is the onsite caretaker Monica - she is wonderful and does everything to make your stay comfortable - even volunteering to drive us to the station at 7 in the morning - much appreciated! Grindelwald is a marvellous base for exploring this sensation area - we had a great time!

This apartment was fantastic! It was a great size for a family of four with planty of living space if the weather was poor. The balcony had stunning viewsover the mountains and our children loved watching the paragliders fall piecefully and slowly down into a nearby field. We were very well looked after by the caretaker who was polite and spoke very good english. She was helpful in finding us leaflets for things that we wanted to do. The location of the appartment was excellent, being 5 minutes walk from the town and station, but being far enough away from the town that there was no noise of traffic etc. We felt the appartment was very good value for money and would certainly recommend it to a friend. We are planning to return in the next two years.
We were extremely happy with the property. The property managers were exceptionally helpful providing advice about places to see etc. We loved it. Many thanks
We were a family of 4, 2 adults and one 11 yr old and 17 yrs. Its was a great apartment. very comfortable and great views of the Eiger. For travelers with heavy luggage the 3rd floor required us to lug it up. No lift!! but the the lower floor may not have a great view!! The pillows need to be refreshed. All in all a good value for money.
Very nice apartment, lots of space and very clean We would definately go back
Excellent services provided from apartment manager Monica.
Views from our apartment on 3rd floor were fantastic. I would recommend choosing an apartment on the higher floors as views better. Location excellent, handy for Grindlewald centre & trains/ cablecars. Manager on site was extremely helpful. I would judge the apartment internally as good rather than luxurious.
