The apartment we stayed in was on the third floor. It was beautifully sunny from early morning to early evening and well-equipped with modern fittings. There was a great view across to the Kleine Scheidegg side of the valley. The in-house laundry and free transport to the ski lift in the morning were great. The friendly property manager who spoke excellent english made us feel very welcome. Also well located in terms of access to public transport and shopping. The only thing missing was a coffee maker and possibly a lift which would have made the move in and out easier.

Pros. Roomy and clean. Wonderfull balcony with a magnificent view. Satelite tv on beautiful lcd flatscreen. Radiostations from all over the world. Comfertable big couch. Only 1 Cons. Very steep 10 minute walk to the village. But you are there for hiking right? So....

The Breithorn apartment was roomy, bright and clean, with a great balcony and fantastic views. The in-house Jasmine manager was also friendly and helpful. We all had a great time and would not hesitate to re-book. We just have a few suggestions to improve the apartment - 1) it would be helpful to have mirrors in the bedrooms 2) it would be helpful to have a clothes rack to air towels (there are not enough towel rails in the bathroom for four people 3) it would be helpful to have a small welcome basket (to include tea bags, milk, coffee, sugar) for visitors arriving after the local shops have shut. These are small points - and the lack of them did not detract from a great time at the Breithorn.

We loved the openness of the living/dining room, the large balcony, the lovely view, the location. It was well equipped and supplied with all that we needed. Monica was delightful and helpful. Everything was efficient and well-organized. The only quibble might be that having the security deposit charged, then re-credited can result in a loss for foreigners if the exchange rate changes. Why not take the card number for a deposit, but not actually charge it unless there is a problem, as other places do?
The apartment was great, in a convenient location with spectacular views of the Eiger. The property manager was friendly and super helpful I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody.
The property was well designed and well equipped with good kitchen facilities. The only downside it needs 2 bathrooms instead of one. When 4 people are trying to get ready at once its a bit difficult. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The laundry facilities are great. Very clean and tidy. Close to all facilities.
Great apartment with nice fittings and furniture and comfy beds. Views from the balcony are amazing over the resort and the mountains and the apartment manager went out of his way to assist us and make our stay most enjoyable. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Grindelwald.
Excellent location and facilities. Property manager was very helpful and knowledgable of area. Swiss occupancy tax was a surprising extra cost.
The best location in Grindelwald, with amazing views from any direction! The property manager is so sweet and helpful. We enjoyed eating in as the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. It was also a life saver to have the clothes washing machine. We will definately go back.
The property was exactly as decibed and shown on the website. The owner provided a good service in terms of being flexible and helpful about our arrival date and providing exe cellent directions on how to get to the property. The on site staff were also extermely helpful and friendly. All in all it was an excellent holiday. Many thanks
